Rating: 2 Units Minnesota starter, Berrios struggled away from Target Field last year, going 3-7 with a 4.85 ERA in 15 road starts. A relentless offense has allowed Philadelphia to overcome some spotty starting pitching but one exception was Eflin, who struck out nine and gave up only three hits across five scoreless innings to win at Washington on Tuesday. The Florida native, who will turn 25 on Monday, thrived at Citizens Bank Park last season by compiling an 8-3 record with a 3.33 ERA in 12 home starts. Eflin will be making his first career start against the Twins.

Rating: 2 Units Price isn't the same guy who once led me to a $300K DFS payday. However, he's still capable of outpitching Weaver and stopping the bleeding here. While he did manage to hit a home run, Weaver really struggled (on the mound) in his first start, allowing five runs (4 earned) through just 4 1/3 innings. That translates to an 8.31 ERA and 1.848 WHIP.

Rating: 2 Units It’s only the start of the season and while it’s clearly still much too early to push the panic button, there’s still a massive sense of urgency from the Cubs coming into this one. During the losing slide Chicago has allowed 55 runs, including last night’s series opening 13-10 setback to Milwaukee. The struggling visiting side catches a break today facing Corbin Burnes (0-0, 7.20) who gave up four runs over five innings in a no-decision to the Cards in his opener. Hamels is 7-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 15 career starts vs. the Brewers (has 92 K’s over 100 innings opposed.)

Cleveland starter Bieber is the Indians' fifth starter but only has worked out of the bullpen so far since Cleveland was given two early off-days. The 23-year-old gave up a run over two frames Sunday in Minnesota after going 11-5 with a 4.45 ERA in 20 appearances (19 starts) as a rookie last season. Rowdy Tellez (2-for-3) is among a handful of Blue Jays with limited exposure to Bieber, who beat Toronto in his only game against them last year after yielding three earned runs in 6 1/3 frames.

He was 7-4 with a 3.41 ERA in 16 road starts last year and the Cubs are 4-0 in Hendricks' last four road starts. The Braves turn to Sean Newcomb (2018: 12-9, 3.90 ERA). The 25 year old southpaw is 0-2 with a 5.17 ERA in three career meetings with Chicago and the current Cubs are hitting a combined .348 over 46 at bats against him. Rating: 2 Units After a breakout season in 2017, Davies took a step back last season as he battled injuries. The 26-year-old earned a rotation spot with a solid spring - save for one disastrous outing in which he made an ill-fated mechanical tweak to his delivery. Davies is 3-3 with a 3.29 ERA in 10 starts against the Reds. Roark gets a change of scenery after spending his first six major-league seasons in Washington, where he had mixed results. Rating: 2 Units Atlanta’s first-round (fifth overall) pick of the 2017 draft, Wright gets his first major-league start after making four relief appearances late last season. The 23-year-old allowed three runs on four hits in six innings out of the bullpen in 2018, walking six and striking out five, and earned Sunday’s start with a strong spring that unraveled in his final two appearances. Wright finished 8-9 with a 3.46 ERA in 27 games between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett last season. Arrieta’s first season in Philadelphia was marked by stark ups and downs, such as a 0.90 ERA in May, a 6.66 ERA in June, a 2.80 ERA in July and a 6.39 ERA in September. The 33-year-old went 1-5 with a 6.35 ERA and 10 homers allowed in 45 1/3 innings across his final nine starts. Arrieta, who posted a 5.79 ERA and 1.36 WHIP across four spring-training starts, went 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA in two starts last season against Atlanta.

Berrios was 1-0 with a 4.24 ERA and a .197 AVG in three starts against Cleveland last year while fanning 17 through 17 frames. The Twins are 21-6 in Berrios' last 27 home starts and 10-4 in his last 14 starts against divisional foes. Cleveland counters with right-hander Corey Kluber who compiled a 20-7 record and 2.89 ERA in 2018. He was 1-1 with a 4.34 ERA in three starts against Minnesota and served up three homers through his 18 2/3 innings on the mound. The Indians are 1-4 in Kluber's last five road starts. Cleveland lost 10 of its 11 free agents during the off-season and will begin the season with Francisco Lindor, second baseman Jason Kipnis and outfielder Bradley Zimmer on the injured list. Minnesota will also have a different look since last year, but it has added several interesting pieces. This is a good enough price to back the home team.

Rating: 2 Units The Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers begin the season with different sets of expectations when they open the 2019 campaign with a three-game interleague series starting Thursday in Texas. Chicago has won eight of 15 meetings and is visiting Arlington for the first time since 2010. The Cubs return all eight regular starters from a team that ranked fourth in the National League in runs (761) last season, but they’re looking for more consistency and production from the middle of the order. Chicago especially could get a boost from 2017 NL MVP Kris Bryant returning to form after being hampered by a shoulder injury for much of 2018. The Rangers hope first-year manager Chris Woodward can turn around a rebuilding club that went 67-95 and finished last in the American League West a year ago. Texas is in the midst of a youth movement, but the lineup still boasts a veteran presence with Shin-Soo Choo, Elvis Andrus and Asdrubal Cabrera, who was signed to take over at third base following Adrian Beltre’s retirement. Chicago starter, Jon Lester will make his third straight Opening Day start and the eighth of his career as he looks to continue to pitch at a high level. The 35-year-old was 11-2 with a 2.87 ERA in 15 road starts a year ago.

Rating: 2 Units Rick Porcello always gives a solid performance and it shows as the Red Sox have a nice profit with a 24-11 team record in his starts. More importantly, he has the relentless Red Sox offense behind him. This year, they are an incredible 91-40 vs. righties and are excellent on the road as well at 56-30. The Dodgers were OK at home, but with their expectations, they lost a ton of money both at home and vs. righties. Rating: 2 Units This Marquez kid on Colorado keeps going out there and throwing low-hit, low-run games. He has nine consecutive quality starts, and some of them were a lot better than just 6 innings allowing 3 runs. He has only three wins in that span because the Rockies don’t score much for him. They got 0 for last night’s starter and now they have to face ace Madison Bumgarner, when Bumgarner is coming off two sub-par starts on the road. His home ERA, however, is 1.49. The Giants, offense depleted after losing Posey and McCutcheon, has scored only 28 runs in the last 12 games.

He most recently gave up one run off four hits while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision to the Dodgers on Sunday. The current three-start drought preceded a superb stretch in which he was 3-0 with two runs and 12 hits permitted in his previous four starts. Morales is 2-for-6 with a home run against Velasquez. Estrada hasn't been especially sharp but he won his last two starts against Baltimore and Kansas City -- the two worst teams in the majors -- despite giving up seven runs and 13 hits in 12 innings. Rating: 2 Units Nick Pivetta (7-10, 4.66 ERA) will take the ball for Philly. The right-hander held the Blue Jays to two runs, four hits and two walks while striking out seven in five innings back in May, and he owns a solid 3.31 ERA in day games on the season. Toronto turns to right-hander Aaron Sanchez (3-5, 4.52 ERA) who has missed more than two months due a finger injury. Sanchez has really struggled in his three rehab starts, posting a 6.55 ERA and 11/10 K/BB ratio over 11 innings of work. Blue Jays are 2-6 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning record.

Rating: 4 Units Foltynewicz has flourished this month, going 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA, only six walks and 28 strikeouts in 26 2/3 innings. The 26-year-old, who has matched the career high in victories he set last season, scattered four hits and struck out nine over seven scoreless frames against Colorado on Saturday, but Atlanta's bullpen was unable to hold the lead. Foltynewicz won both of his previous starts against Miami this season, posting a 0.69 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 13 innings.

Rating: 2 Units Fulmer is making his first start in over a month. He'd been on the DL with an oblique strain. Fulmer's only start against the White Sox this year saw him throw 5 1/3 scoreless innings. Though he'll be limited to somewhere around 70 pitches tonight, I expect Fulmer to come out motivated in his return to the mound. On the other hand, I really can't make a case for White Sox starter Lopez to pitch well in this spot. He's given up 10 runs in his last two starts, which have spanned just seven innings (total). Lopez has started against the Tigers four times this year and has yet to win. Detroit is actually a winning team at home this season with a 34-31 record that has netted them a solid +11.7 units
