CFB GAME PREVIEW SOUTHERN MISS @ SOUTH CAROLINA THURSDAY 9-2-10 7:30 PM EST The South Carolina Gamecocks will open the season on Thursday September, 2nd against Southern Miss in the first College Football game of the 2010 season. The Gamecocks come in installed as 14 point favorites in this one. Last year Southern Miss was only 1-6 SU on the road allowing 32.4 points per game away from home. Meanwhile, South Carolina was 6-1 SU at home allowing only 16.7 points per game. The Gamecocks should make some noise this year in the Southeastern Conference. I’m expecting this to be one of the best years for the Gamecocks since Steve Spurrier has been Head Coach. The Gamecocks have 15 starters returning from last year’s bowl team. MLB AL EAST DIVISION RACE The MLB season is winding on down with only around 44 games left in the regular season for each ball club. It’s time to make those runs for the playoffs. I’m going to take a look at the AL East here today. Currently, the NY Yankees and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays are tied atop the division and are the best two teams in the American League with identical records of 72-46. That means that if the season were to end today both of these teams would make the playoffs. Not far behind, sitting in 3rd place is the always dangerous Boston Red Sox at 67-52 only 5 ½ games out of 1st place. The Toronto Blue Jays are not having a bad season at 63-55 but they sit in 4th place, nine games out of 1st. Toronto will need to make one of those huge runs to get back into things. Baltimore sits in 5th place, 30 ½ games out of 1st and are not going to see any postseason action again this year with a record of 42-77. ...
NFL PRESEASON 2010 The NFL Preseason is upon us and the smell of football is in the air. Football is what most gamblers await year after year. However, a lot of people don’t play the NFL Preseason. Its easy money ladies and gentlemen if you know what you are doing. Lets look at some things that may help you be a winner this year. With the NFL Preseason, as all other sports, make sure you have several books so you can shop around for the best line possible. The more books the better your chance of winning. We all have been burnt by that dreaded point or 1/2 point. Don’t let it happen to you this year. Don’t play with your heart. Again, use this with all other sports as well. Yes, you may win a few by doing this and may even make some money, but its not a smart thing to do. Playing with your heart will get you in trouble as you are not thinking clearly on the game. Also, don’t play a game just because its on TV or Monday Night Football. That’s asking for trouble...
