Clemson’s defense gives the underdog a path to staying inside the number. If Clemson can prevent LSU from generating explosive scoring drives and force longer possessions, the Tigers do not need to win outright to cash the ticket.

We expect Miami to establish control early and force Stanford into obvious passing situations as the game progresses.

Fresno State vs USC Prediction

USC should win this game.

That does not mean USC automatically deserves to be laying more than three touchdowns.

This is exactly the distinction bettors need to make.

USC’s name recognition and ranking will naturally attract attention, while Fresno State enters without the same national profile.

At more than three touchdowns, however, the Bulldogs have considerable margin for error.

A backdoor score can matter. So can a USC offense that becomes conservative with a comfortable fourth-quarter lead.

We are more interested in determining whether the point spread has become inflated.

Boise State does not need to threaten the outright upset.

It needs to remain competitive enough to stay within approximately three touchdowns.

The Broncos have historically been comfortable playing major programs and should approach the game aggressively rather than simply attempting to survive.

Oregon can dominate this game and Boise State can still cover.

Wisconsin vs Notre Dame Prediction

Pick: Under 47
Projected Score: Notre Dame 27, Wisconsin 14

This matchup at Lambeau Field looks more attractive from the total than from the spread.

Notre Dame enters as a large favorite.

The Irish should own advantages on both sides of the football, but a comfortable Notre Dame victory does not necessarily require an offensive shootout.

Wisconsin’s best chance to remain competitive is to shorten the game, avoid turnovers and prevent explosive possessions.

That style naturally supports an Under position.

We would rather have 47.5 than 47 and would become increasingly cautious if the market falls below 46.

Louisville’s ability to run the football and create offense outside structure could be especially important against an Ole Miss defense facing its first meaningful test of the season.

If Ole Miss wins by a field goal or six points, Louisville still cashes the ticket.

We strongly prefer +7 to +6.5.
