Atlanta Hawks vs Detroit Pistons NBA Betting Preview & Odds

Head-To-Head This Year: Detroit won the first meeting 106-94 as 7 point road dogs… Atlanta took the 2nd meeting 107-100 as 6 point home favorites… Atlanta won the 3rd meeting 118-114 as a 1 point road favorite.

 

The Atlanta Hawks have regained their lead in the Southeast division thanks to wins over Washington and Milwaukee in their last two games. They have now won 12 of their last 15 games overall and currently own a half game lead over Miami in the division.  This should be a fun race down the stretch of the regular season. Overall the Pistons come into this game are ranked 16th in the league in scoring, putting up 102.5 ppg,  while also ranking 23rd in shooting overall, 23rd from long range and 30th from the charity stripe. The defensive numbers are decent as they come in ranked 12th in points allowed, giving up just 101.5 ppg, while also ranking 21st defensive FG% and 17th in 3-point defense. At home the Pistons have averaged 106.4 ppg on 45.6% shooting, while allowing 100.3 ppg on 46.8% shooting.
