Sports Watch Monitor – What is Trending in Sports Betting on Mar. 18th

By www.sportswatchmonitor.com

On Wednesday, here are today’s largest percent of bets on college basketball teams and those in the NBA.

NBA – (609) SAN ANTONIO at (610) MILWAUKEE  8:05 ET (Side)

With Milwaukee essentially in free fall since changing the point guard position (3-10 SU and 5-8 ATS since Feb. 20) and San Antonio coming off a horrific loss in OT to the Knicks last night, better than 80 percent of NBA bettors are backing the Spurs to bounce back. Coach Greg Popovich was moved to words after such a painful showing. “We didn’t respect the game, we didn’t respect our opponent,” said Popovich, whose Spurs led by as much as 13 in the third quarter. “It was a pathetic performance and I hope that every player is embarrassed. Not because ‘we are supposed to win the game’ but it is about how you play the game.” Sportsbooks have mostly aligned with the money flow and popped the Spurs from -5 to -6 or even a couple books are -6.5. SWM Take – Agree with line movement

NBA – (617) L.A. CLIPPERS at (618) SACRAMENTO  10:05 ET  (Side)

The banged-up L.A. Clippers seek their 16th win in 19 meetings (10-7-1 ATS) against the host Sacramento Kings, who could be without top scorers Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins on Wednesday night. Los Angeles will try and kick start their offense against one the worst defensive teams in the NBA and almost 90 percent of wagers placed is on the visiting club. Sportsbooks again felt compelled to adjust with a surge of one-sided bets and took the Clips from -7.5 to -9. If the two aforementioned Kings are on the sidelines, we back the move, but if Cousins in particular is in the lineup, we know the Sac-Town stinks, but the Clips are only 2-5-1 ATS of late and that is quite of bit of lumber to lay on the road. SWM Take – Read the last sentence

CBB – (635) UW-GREEN BAY at (636) ILLINOIS STATE  8:00 ET  (Total)

The total is tumbling, down three points to 139 in this Midwestern matchup of neighboring states in the NIT. Though the betting action has not be heavy, it has been one-sided, with over 95 percent of bets placed at this juncture on the UNDER. With Illinois State just a three-point favorite, we find the Redbirds are 6-0 UNDER as a home favorite of six points or less the last three seasons. SWM Take – Agree with public

CBB – (639) SOUTH DAKOTA STATE at (640) COLORADO STATE 10:00 ET  (Side)

Colorado State had more than one college basketball aficionado wondering how they did not make the field of 68 for the Big Dance. The Rams have other supporters also, over 90 percent who have chosen this contest as one of their sports picks for today.  The oddsmakers are not impressed with who is placing the bets and less than half have come off the starting number of CSU at -7.5, with the rest moving slightly -8. While Colorado State has faced a more challenging schedule, South Dakota State might not be a pushover in Fort Collins and the Rams are only 5-12 ATS teams outscoring their opponents by four or more points a game this season. SWM Take – Disagree with public
