20* Milwaukee Bucks +4 Was very close to taking the Milwaukee Bucks on the money line for the outright upset but I think it's much safer here taking the generous points. Indiana has too many injuries right now to compete. Jason Kidd has these young guns from the Bucks believing that they can win a few ball games and I truly think that they have a great chance for the outright victory on the road tonight.

30* Boston Celtics vs. Dallas Mavericks OVER 208 These two teams have been offensive scoring machines to start the season. They play up tempo and both are trending to the over. Both these teams are over machines on 1 days rest. The Mavericks are 7-1 to the over their last 8 and the Celtics are 12-3 their last 15 games. Expect a lot of 3 pointers and free throws in this game that should be played fast paced.

30* Brooklyn -6.5 A great situation in the NBA is when a star player goes down and you take that team the first game after the injury. It cashed for us last time OKC played. A follow up for that situation is you fade that team the second game after the injury because they are in a bit of a let down. That is what we have here tonight. Brooklyn needs a big win badly this season as they have started off slow and I believe they get it done here tonight.

30* Charlotte Hornets +3.5 New York comes off a huge win over the Cavaliers and they are playing on 3 days rest. I believe that this team is going to come out flat and rusty from this situation. I do not like this Knicks team one bit and Carmelo Anthony gets on my nerves and I think he is extremely overrated. Yes he is good player, but not a great player that everyone makes him out to be.

30* Toronto Raptors ML +117 Late info has us on the visitors here. In my opinion, the wrong team is favored. This line opened as Miami -5 and it has dropped significantly. Miami has to travel back from Philadelphia and is playing on back to back nights. Instead of taking them with the spread, we'll go ahead and take them for the outright for the solid plus money payout.

I love backing teams the first game after their star goes down. Nobody expects much from them and they usually give an inspired effort. Look for OKC to keep this game close.

40* Charlotte Hornets -3 The Hornets showed a ton of character coming back to beat the Bucks. Normally you would like to fade a team coming off such a big comeback win but they didn't have to travel and they have had 2 days off to prepare for the Grizz. The Hornets are a very improved team this year and the fans are starting to get behind this team. Memphis come's into this game playing the second of a back to back and they had to travel from Indiana overnight. Look for Memphis to play a little flat, especially since they had to spend a lot of energy with their big run they went on last night to beat Indiana, and Charlotte to take care of business at home tonight.

20* Los Angeles Clippers -11 Yes the Clippers burned us last night with that HORRENDOUS shooting performance but we still like them here tonight but we'll play them small. The Clippers LOVE to blowout the Lakers. They've been the laughing stock of LA and the little brother for so many years that finally it's their turn to dish out some punishment. The Clippers should come out a lot better than last night with the rust coming off this team. I don't expect them to miss as many three's tonight and they should blow out this terrible Lakers team.

40* NBA UNDERDOG OF THE WEEK Phoenix Suns ML +105 (take the points if you wish) I love this Phoenix squad. They are a well coached bunch and they play great ball at home. Phoenix is in a terrific spot tonight to face the World Champion, Spurs. This line opened at Spurs -2 and has dropped to pick with over 75% of the bets on San Antonio. The Suns are a very live dog here tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if they went off as the short favorite by tip-off.

50* VEGAS INSIDER Chicago Bulls -3.5 The Chicago Bulls are favored here for a reason guys. Yes, Cleveland looked horrible last night and it was a big time flat spot for them but this team has some problems. Their coach has no clue what he is doing. A lot of people think coaching doesn't matter in the NBA and you just need stars to have a good team. There were countless occasions where the Cavs needed a time out to stop momentum and run a set play but they would just run the court and take bad shot. Chicago's defense is going to frustrate the Cavaliers all night. The Bulls have the best defense and they play at a very methodical pace. What kills Lebron the most is not letting him get out into transition. The Knicks excelled at it last night and the Bulls should do it even better tonight. It's going to take Cleveland some time to gel folks. Everyone is running to the window to claim them champs already but this is a long season. A ton of people are going to believe that there is no way that the Cavs start the year 0-2. This is the Bulls chance to prove that they are the best team in the East and I believe they make one hell of a statement tonight.

50* NBA BLOWOUT OF THE MONTH Los Angeles Clippers -11 Everything sets up perfectly here for the Clippers. They are thirsty for revenge against the Thunder squad who knocked them out of the playoffs last year. Good news for the Clippers is that they get OKC in the second game of a back to back. The Thunder played tough for 3 quarters last night but it was pretty clear the Russell Westbrook can't do it all. Granted he did have a great night but he had Lilliard, who plays absolutely no defense, on him. Dont be surprised if this is a close game in the first half with the rust coming off a little bit from the Clippers but expect this team to come out in the second half in front of a ruckus crowd and just blow the doors off the limping Thunder.

30* Dallas Mavericks -10.5 This is the Utah Jazz's second game of a back to back and they come into this game off a loss. They were in a great situation to take down the Houston Rockets last night and they got worked. Utah is a young team that has the ability to sneak up on some teams when they play at home. On the road, its a completely different story. Dallas outclasses the Jazz is so many ways. The Mavericks come into this game with a day off and come off a loss to the hated Spurs, which they barely lost. The Jazz have had serious problems shooting in the 4th quarter and history repeated itself again with a miserable performance against the Rockets. I expect it to effect them again and I believe the Mavericks make a statement here to the West and absolutely blow out this young Jazz team tonight.

30* Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz OVER 201.5 The Houston Rockets played their season opener last night in LA and now have to travel to the thin air in Utah to face the Jazz. I expect the Jazz to push the tempo here and with the line dropping all the way to 3, this indicates a very live dog. With the line indicating a close game, this could possibly mean more free throws and not the winding of the clock when the game is a blowout.

40* ESPN TOTAL OF THE WEEK Chicago Bulls vs. New York Knicks UNDER 190 The Chicago Bulls play some of, if not, the best defense in the entire league. They also have one of the slowest paces in all of the league too. This team takes their time on offense, moves the ball around, and burns the shot clock like no other. The NBA, at times, is not known for the amazing defense but being the first game of the season, I expect the players to play tight and give a solid effort on the defensive end. This total should not be in the 190's. It's only this high because of the names Rose and Anthony. Expect a much lower scoring game and a very methodical pace to this one.

Michael Carter-Williams is out, Joel Embiid is out, they traded Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young, and Nerlens Noel is making his NBA debut. This is going to be a recipe for disaster and I don't know if this 76ers team can be competitive any time soon. Look for Indiana to do enough to get it done in front of their home crowd.

This Mavs team has made a few improvements and they could make some serious noise this year in the West. The additions of Jameer Nelson, Chandler Parsons, and the return of Tyson Chandler are HUGE for Dallas and this team now has talent from top to bottom of this line up. Another thing going for us is the line of 5. Typically a line of 5 means to look towards the underdog. Want to get this game out now because I see this line to continue to drop.

70* NBA BIGGEST PLAY OF THE SEASON
San Antonio Spurs -5.5
The Spurs have been waiting for this day since losing Game 7 last year. They devoted their entire season to pay back the Heat for taking the NBA Championship away from them. We should be talking about the Spurs repeating right now. They completely let the championship slip through their fingers last year not hitting their free throws down the stretch and well, you know the story. Gregg Popovich deservingly won the NBA Coach of the Year because he kept his players focused the entire year and ultimately leading the Spurs to the best record in the NBA. Plenty of teams would have given up and suffered a big time let down losing the Championship like the Spurs did. No team in the league plays with more heart and plays more complete team basketball then these guys. The Spurs get their chance Sunday night to do what they have been waiting so long for, and that's giving the Heat a total beat down to win the NBA Championship. To make it even sweeter, they get to do it in front of their home crowd.
The Spurs have dominated the Heat this entire series. San Antonio could have easily swept Miami. The Heat have absolutely no answer for the Spurs. They can't defend down low and if they try, the sharp shooters of the Spurs make them pay from beyond the arc. No matter what the Heat seem to throw at them, the Spurs anticipate every move and do it to perfection. Spurs run away with this game in the 2nd half and this time its Tim Duncan and company hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy!

Miami has won 13 straight times coming off a loss in the playoffs. This team knows how to bounce back. What makes this play even better is that they get to revenge a home loss on their home floor. Watch out for LeBron James. He seems to always come up big time when his team needs it. Miami knows they have to win this game or they can kiss the Championship good bye. There is no way they can beat the best coached team in the NBA 3 games in a row. I'm betting that it is 2-2 going back to San Antonio.

The Spurs are the better team. They have the better coach and play better team basketball. Not to mention, the best bench in the NBA. Those are the 3 key ingredients in a champion. The Spurs should be going for the repeat this year because they totally threw away Game 6 last year and the series.
All the Spurs will be playing with a chip on their shoulder tonight because all everyone is talking about is how the Heat would have won with Lebron in the game. There's a bit of a qualifier for their victory and San Antonio wants to prove tonight that their victory was not a fluke. Also, the Spurs are dominant at home, blowing out everyone that comes to visit.

Gregg Popovich is hands down, the best coach in the NBA. He always makes the correct adjustments and has shown he knows how to shut down the best player in the League, LeBron James. Home field advantage is huge for this series and the Spurs own it. Spurs take game 1 as well as the series. We'll take the San Antonio Spurs as our NBA FINALS GAME OF THE MONTH.

Everyone is going to believe that since the Spurs are back home their woes will be cured. Not so fast. Serge Ibaka makes ALL the difference in the world for the Thunder. Just look at the statistics and the good old fashioned eye test. The Spurs can't beat the Thunder with Ibaka in the line up. He clogs up the middle and San Antonio isn't getting the easy buckets in the paint they were in games 1 and 2.
I do realize that every game has been a blow out. I think that all changes tonight. This is going to be a battle down to the wire. OKC definitely has the opportunity for the outright tonight and we'll go with the Oklahoma City Thunder as our 40* NBA GAME OF THE WEEK.

The Pacers, who pride themselves on their defensive prowess, gave up almost 100 points last game on the road. I see a very focused defensive effort tonight because it's practically do or die now for Indiana. You can't go down 3-1 in the NBA especially to the Miami Heat and expect to come back.

50* NBA PLAYOFFS GAME OF THE YEAR
MIAMI HEAT -6.5
There is a reason the oddsmakers put the line this high. The Heat are the defending champs and just destroyed the psyche of the weak minded Indiana Pacers with their last win that the pacers let slip through their finger tips.
Lebron James played like a mad man in the 4th and now the Pacers are in BIG trouble now because Dwayne Wade is playing like his old self and that is the best one two punch in the NBA. Coach Spoelstra is a very underrated coach that always seems to make the right adjustments and the credit always goes to Lebron.
