Taking TENNESSEE STATE. Mocs could be in for a long year. Or at least a long couple months. Already with a loss (11pts) on the road to another Ohio Valley team, EKU, Chattanooga gets a team I think is a bit better, albeit they are home. Not sure they should be trusted as a fave though. After Game 1, looks like a lot of offense going through their sophomore PG. 3-13 for Commander from the floor. LY as a frosh he shot 34% and 27% from 3. If he is the starting point. Oh. Could be bumpy. Wesley Harris comes over from West Virginia. He should find the going a bit easier than what he faced in Big 12 night in, night out. This team though is just big. 4 guys shorter than 6'6 so they can really run some size at people. TSU in off a tune-up cup cake where they look like world beaters. Taking SOUTHERN UTAH. I'll tell you what. I was thinking about Cornhuskers in this spot. Getting smashed at home by Big West Cal Riverside. Now they have Big Sky Thunderbirds coming to town. This team has a bunch of upper class in the starting lineup. 5 guys who scored more than 9ppg last year. They have experienced guard play. They have 6 transfers from Power Conferences on the roster. Basically what Nebraska is trying to do with their guys coming from Robert Morris, Gulf Coast, Pitt and Seattle. Losing by 20 at home to a team that hasn't had a winning season in 19 years is something to take notice of. Taking the BUCKS. Raptors needed every second of their 7 game series to advance over Philly. Milwaukee took care of Boston in pretty easy fashion. Maybe a sluggish start since they are rested. We saw Boston steal Game 1. I am also leaning UNDER in this game. Just think that Toronto got lucky. They held off a big run, at home, and needed a crazy bounce to get the win in regulation. Look. I had the Raptors for the series. I didn't think it would be that close. Taking the WARRIORS. Blazers with a monster playoff run. Let's face it. Thunder and Nuggets both had owned Portland coming into these playoffs. And here we are after a Game 7 road win. Blazers opening up at Golden State. I just don't know what Portland has left in the tank right now. They have played every other day.
