04-16-21 | Cardinals v. Phillies UNDER 9 | Top | 2-9 | Loss | -130 | 19 h 7 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK ALERT | TOP-RATED MLB TOTAL Good spot for an under when the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Philadelphia Phillies Friday night. Philly right-hander Zach Eflin (0-0, 3.46 ERA) was excellent in his lone home start of the season so far, limiting Atlanta to one run on four hits with eight ks through seven innings of a 2-1 Phillies win. Cardinals right-hander Carlos Martinez (0-2, 6.30 ERA) has had two rough outings, but here he'll face a Philadelphia team that averages only 3.73 runs per game (28th). Neither bullpen is spectacular, but not awful either. I expect a low-scoring game. 10* play on UNDER. |
04-15-21 | Rangers v. Rays OVER 8.5 | Top | 6-4 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB TOTAL PLAY OF THE DAY I expect to see fireworks when the Texas Rangers clash with the Tampa Bay Rays for the finale of a four-game series Thursday night. Tampa Bay left-hander Rich Hill (1-0, 7.20 ERA) has allowed four runs in each of his two starts on the season, covering four and six frames respectively. Those two games both saw 15+ runs scored. Rangers righty Jordan Lyles (1-0, 4.50 ERA) has allowed five runs on 11 hits with three homes through 11 innings on the season. I think the Rays can get to him and Texas' bullpen is among the worst in baseball with a 5.17 ERA (25th), one of the few worse is Tampa Bay's (29th). Over is 7-0 in Rangers last 7 during game 4 of a series. Over is 8-4 in Rays' 12 games on the season. 10* play on OVER. |
04-15-21 | Diamondbacks +152 v. Nationals | 11-6 | Win | 152 | 16 h 25 m | Show
THURSDAY NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE I think we are getting good value with the underdog in this Thursday night matchup between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Washington Nationals. Arizona righty Merrill Kelly (0-2, 8.10 ERA) has admittedly struggled through his first two starts of the season, but here he'll face a Washington team that averages only 3.82 runs per game on the season and he has decent backup as Arizona's relievers rank 15th in the league with a 4.15 ERA. The Nats relievers have a combined ERA of 5.22 (26th) and their starter for the day, left-hander Patrick Corbin (0-1, 12.46 ERA) was reached for six runs in 4 1/3 innings in his lone start of the year. Arizona averages a solid 4.58 runs per game (12th) and I think the D'Backs will take this one. 8* play on Arizona Diamondbacks. |
04-15-21 | Indians v. White Sox -145 | 4-2 | Loss | -145 | 3 h 53 m | Show
INDIANS @ WHITE SOX BOOKIE BU$TER Chicago White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodón threw a no-hitter against the Indians on Wednesday. If you think the Tribe will come out roaring to make up for it tonight, then I have bad news for you. Teams coming off a game without recording a single hit tend to come out flat the next game as well, and here Cleveland will have to deal with Lance Lynn (1-0, 0.00 ERA) who has opened the season with 17 Ks through 13 2/3 scoreless innings. Cleveland righty Aaron Civale (2-0, 2.45 ERA) has also had a fast start to the year, but I like the White Sox in this matchup. 8* play on Chicago White Sox. |
04-14-21 | Rockies +237 v. Dodgers | 2-4 | Loss | -100 | 18 h 58 m | Show
ROCKIES @ DODGERS LATE NIGHT BOOKIE BU$TER I think the Colorado Rockies are a severely underrated dog in this Wednesday night matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Rockies' righty Jon Gray has opened the season with a 1-0 record and 1.54 ERA and only six hits allowed over 11 2/3 frames in two starts. While Gray was knocked around by the Dodgers last season, note that it was just over a couple of innings in one start. The Dodgers turn to Dustin May (1-0, 0.00 ERA) who has yet to allow a run on the season, but he has also only pitched six innings. The Rockies are 0-4 as underdogs of +200 or more, but I think the dog has bite tonight. 8* play on Colorado Rockies. |
04-14-21 | Yankees -130 v. Blue Jays | 4-5 | Loss | -130 | 9 h 54 m | Show
SUPER EARLY YANKEES @ BLUE JAYS MLB BOOKIE BOMBER Good spot to back the New York Yankees to rebound from a 7-3 loss to the Jays on Tuesday. Yankee righty Corey Kluber (0-1, 5.68 ERA) was roughed up at Tampa Bay last time out, but he held the Jays to a pair of runs (one earned) through four innings of a 5-3 Yankee win in his season opener. Toronto righty Ross Stripling (0-1, 7.56 ERA) has had an even tougher start, including allowing three runs on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings of the 5-3 Blue Jays loss to Yankees and Kluber on April 4. Stripling is 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA in four career outings games (one start) against the Yankees. 8* play on New York Yankees. |
04-13-21 | Marlins v. Braves -1.5 | 14-8 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 29 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK The Atlanta Braves look good to bounce back from a pair of setbacks, the most recent a 5-3 loss to Miami on Monday. They had only four hits on the day, but I expect the Braves to get to Pablo Lopez (0-1, 1.54 ERA) tonight. Note that Miami has lost both of Lopez's first two starts in 2021. Atlanta hands the ball to Max Fried (0-0, 9.00 ERA) who is still without a decision, win or loss, despite giving up five runs in two innings at Washington last time out. Atlanta won the game 7-6 in extra innings. The Braves bats are among the best in the league, and Fried is too good of a pitcher to not bounce back from a rough outing. 8* play on Atlanta Braves. |
04-13-21 | Padres v. Pirates UNDER 8 | 4-8 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 56 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The San Diego Padres defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 on Monday, and I expect them to win big again in Game 2 of the series. Padres' lefty Blake Snell (0-0, 1.86 ERA) has allowed only six hits while recording 16 Ks through his 9 2/3 innings on the mound in 2021. Pittsburgh righty Chad Kuhl (0-1, 6.43 ERA) struggled with his command at Cincinnati last time out and gave up five runs (four earned) on two htis and five walks in four innings of an 11-4 loss. This one is simple, back the team with the better bats and the better pitcher on the runline. In addition to Padres winning, I also like the under as I expect Snell to shut down the Bucs completely. 8* play on UNDER. |
04-13-21 | Padres -1.5 v. Pirates | Top | 4-8 | Loss | -130 | 11 h 43 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB PLAY OF THE DAY The San Diego Padres defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 on Monday, and I expect them to win big again in Game 2 of the series. 10* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
04-13-21 | Red Sox v. Twins -141 | 4-2 | Loss | -141 | 6 h 21 m | Show
SUPER EARLY MLB BOOKIE BU$TER Monday's opener of this four-game series was postponed due to rain. I planned to back the Twins, and I'm doing it again despite a different pitching matchup on Tuesday. Red Sox righty Nathan Eovaldi (1-1, 1.46 ERA) is coming off a pair of solid starts in 2021, but note his 5.05 ERA in seven career starts against Minnesota. Twins righty Kenta Maeda (1-0, 2.61 ERA) has only one career start against Boston with a 0-1 record and a 4.76 ERA. However, in two starts on the season, Maeda has allowed only three earned runs with 11 Ks over 10 1/3 innings of work this season. 8* play on Minnesota Twins. |
04-12-21 | Reds v. Giants -111 | 3-0 | Loss | -111 | 14 h 9 m | Show
3-PACK Reds righty Wade Miley held Pittsburgh to two hits through six scoreless innings in his season debut. Giants righy Aaron Sanchez limited San Diego to one run through five innings in his first start of the year. The under is 7-2 in Giants' games on the season and they've won four in a row while the Reds have gone cold, coming off a pair of losses at Arizona. Giants are 10-3 in their last 13 games as a home favorite. 8* play on San Francisco Giants. |
04-12-21 | Reds v. Giants UNDER 8.5 | Top | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 17 h 54 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* MLB BIG HITTER TOTAL Reds righty Wade Miley held Pittsburgh to two hits through six scoreless innings in his season debut. Giants righy Aaron Sanchez limited San Diego to one run through five innings in his first start of the year. The under is 7-2 in Giants' games on the season and they've won four in a row while the Reds have gone cold, coming off a pair of losses at Arizona. 10* play on UNDER. |
04-12-21 | Padres v. Pirates OVER 8 | 6-2 | Push | 0 | 11 h 17 m | Show
3-PACK Pirates righty Trevor Cahill was lit up for seven runs on nine hits in four innings at Cincinnati in his season debut. This Padres roster has a combined batting average of .298 over 44 at bats against him. San Diego's righty Yy Darvish has allowed five runs on 11 hits through 10 2/3 innings of work in two starts on the seaason. 8* play on OVER. |
04-10-21 | Brewers v. Cardinals -105 | Top | 9-5 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK ALERT | MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL MAJOR WAGER The St. Louis Cardinals are winners of four straigth to make it 5-2 on the season. They defeated the Brewers 3-1 on Friday, and I like the Cards to pick up another win here with Carlos Martinez (0-1, 7.20 ERA) on the mound. While Martinez was knocked around in a 12-1 loss to Cincinnati last Sunday in his season debut, note his 2.23 ERA in 29 career games (15 starts) against Milwaukee. The Brewers counter with Adrian Houser (0-1, 3.60 ERA) who is 1-2 with a 4.64 ERA in seven career outings (four starts) against St. Louis. 10* play on St. Louis Cardinals. |
04-09-21 | Yankees -131 v. Rays | 5-10 | Loss | -131 | 11 h 26 m | Show
EARLY BASEBALL MONEYLINE | TGIF AFTERNOON ASSASIN Good spot to back the New York Yankees as a road favorite at AL East rivals Tampa Bay on Friday. Yankee righty Corey Kluber (0-0, 2.25 ERA) allowed two runs (one earned) through five innings against Toronto in his season opener. Kluber owns a 5-2 record with a 2.67 ERA in 10 career starts against the Rays who counter with Left-hander Rich Hill. Hill (0-0, 9.00 ERA) was charged with four earned runs through four innings of a 12-7 Rays loss to Miami in his season debut. Hill is 1-2 with a 4.79 ERA through 11 career appearances (three starts) against the Yankees. The Rays are coming off four straight losses, and I think they'll drop another one Friday afternoon. 8* play on New York Yankees. |
04-08-21 | Royals v. White Sox -158 | 0-6 | Win | 100 | 12 h 42 m | Show
THURSDAY AFTERNOON BASEBALL | 8* MONEYLINE MASSACRE The Chicago White Sox took an 8-4 loss at Seattle on Wednesday to drop to 3-4 on the season. I like them to come through with a win here in their home opener against Kansas City. The Royals hand the ball to Brad Keller (0-0, 40.50 ERA) who was obliterated in his first start of the season, surrendering six runs on nine hits and a pair of walks through just 1 1/3 innings of work vs. Texas. The White Sox counter with Lance Lynn (0-0, 0.00 ERA) who did not allow a single earned run when he took on the Angels in his season debut. Only four hitters on this KC roster have any experience against Lynn, and they're batting a combined .163 (5-for-28). 8* play on Chicago White Sox. |
04-08-21 | Red Sox -153 v. Orioles | 7-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show
EARLY MLB AFTERNOON ASSASSIN The Boston Red Sox are swinging hot bats and scored 26 runs through a 3-0 sweep of the Rays to open the week. They got swept by Baltimore in a three-game series to open the season, but I like Boston to get revenge today. Eduardo Rodriguez will make his season debut for the Red Sox. He was 10-6 with a 3.85 ERA in 2020 and went 3-0 with a 1.93 ERA in four starts against Baltimore. While Orioles starter Matt Harvey (0-0, 3.86 ERA) held Boston scoreless through 4 2/3 innings in his season opener, I think the Red Sox will get to him this time around. 8* play on Boston Red Sox. |
04-06-21 | Mets -130 v. Phillies | 8-4 | Win | 100 | 12 h 49 m | Show
NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST MONEYLINE MASSACRE The New York Mets have played only one game, a 5-3 loss to the Phillies on Monday. I like their chances to tie the series with a win tonight, coming up against Chase Anderson who was 1-2 with a hideous 7.22 ERA in 2020. Anderson is 2-3 with a 4.58 ERA in eight career starts against the Mets who counter with Marcus Stroman. Stroman has had the last couple of seasons ruined by injury and hasn't pitched in a big-league game since Sept. 27, 2019. Stroman is 2-1 with a 3.66 ERA in five outings (three starts) against the Phillies. Philly is due to cool off following a 4-0 start to the season while the Mets will be hungry for their first win. 8* play on New York Mets. |
04-05-21 | Brewers +108 v. Cubs | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 50 m | Show
BREWERS VS CUBS 8* MLB BOOKIE BU$TER The Chicago Cubs are an overrated home favorite in this matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers. Cubs' righty Trevor Williams was 2-8 with a 6.18 ERA with Pittsburgh in 2020 while Brewers' southpaw Brett Anderson compiled a 4.28 ERA with this Brewers team. Anderson owns a stifling 2.66 ERA in four career meetings with the Cubs. He has the current Cubbies roster limited to a .209 AVG with 12 Ks over 70 at bats. 8* play on Milwaukee Brewers. |
04-05-21 | Twins -142 v. Tigers | 15-6 | Win | 100 | 9 h 25 m | Show
MLB AFTERNOON ASSASSIN | EARLY PLAY AT THE BALLPARK Good spot to back the Minnesota Twins with Matt Shoemaker on the mound for this team debut. Shoemaker owns a 4-1 record with an 0.68 ERA in six career starts against the Tigers, and he should get backed by a decent amount of runs as Tigers' starter Jose Urena is coming off a rough 0-3, 5.40 ERA season. Both teams are heading into this series 2-1 on the season, but I like the Twins to take the opener. Twins are 12-5 in the last 17 meetings in Detroit. 8* play on Minnesota Twins. |
04-04-21 | Blue Jays v. Yankees -161 | 3-1 | Loss | -161 | 3 h 26 m | Show
MLB 3-PACK | JAYS @ YANKEES The New York Yankees are a hefty home favorite in this matchup with the Blue Jays, but I think they'll prove well worth the investment. Yankee right-hander Domingo German owns AL East teams and he has a 3.10 ERA in five career appearances (three starts) against Toronto. The Jays counter with T.J. Zeuch who will just make his fifth career start. Zeuch is 2-2 with a 3.71 ERA in eight career appearances (four starts) and I think the Bronx Bombers will rough him up. 8* play on New York Yankees. |
04-04-21 | Braves -115 v. Phillies | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 49 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY TOP-RATED 10* BRAVES @ PHILLIES PLAY OF THE DAY The Atlanta Braves mustered only one hit and no runs in a 4-0 loss to the Phillies on Saturday. I expect them to do much better here in the finale of this three-game series to avoid heading out of Philly 0-3 on the season. Atlanta's Ian Anderson (3-2, 1.95 ERA in 2020) had an impressive debut season and recorded 41 Ks through 32 1/3 innings of work. Phillies' righty Zach Eflin (4-2, 3.97 ERA in 2020) is no slouch, but I don't see him shutting down a hungry Braves team. 10* play on Atlanta Braves. |
04-03-21 | Braves -105 v. Phillies | Top | 0-4 | Loss | -105 | 13 h 44 m | Show |
TOP-RATED 10* BRAVES @ PHILLIES MLB PLAY OF THE DAY Good spot to back the Atlanta Braves to tie the series after dropping the season opener 3-2. Braves' righty Charlie Morton (2-2, 4.74 ERA in 2020) has this Phillies roster limited to a .223 batting average over 114 at-bats. Philadelphia righty Zack Wheeler (4-2, 2.92 ERA in 2020) is coming off a terrific season, but he had a poor spring (5.03 ERA) and this Braves team has hit him pretty hard with a combined .284 AVG over 147 at-bats. Freddie Freeman is 17-for-35 and 13 walks against Wheeler. While I don't think the Braves have a huge edge on the mound, they have better bats and a more reliable bullpen. 10* play on Atlanta Braves. |
04-03-21 | Indians -1.5 v. Tigers | 2-5 | Loss | -106 | 8 h 51 m | Show
SUPER EARLY MLB RUNLINE RIPPER Cleveland righty Zach Plesac has great career numbers against the Tigers. He pitched 7 2/3 shutout innings with 11 strikeouts against Detroit last season after holding them to one run in 10 innings in 2019. Tigers hand the ball to Julio Teheran who was 0-4 with a 10.05 ERA in 10 games with the Angels last season. Teheran is 0-1 with a 9.64 ERA in one career appearance against Cleveland. 8* play on Cleveland Indians. |
04-03-21 | Blue Jays v. Yankees -163 | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 47 m | Show
SUPER EARLY MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE I like the New York Yankees to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Toronto in the series opener. Corey Kluber will make his debut for the Bronx Bombers after joining the team during the offseason. Kluber is obviously an elite pitcher, and he should be highly motivated after missing last season due to injury. The Jays counter with Ross Stripling who went 0-2 with a 6.32 ERA in five appearances with Toronto last season after coming over from the Dodgers. 8* play on New York Yankees. |
04-02-21 | White Sox +106 v. Angels | 12-8 | Win | 106 | 15 h 12 m | Show
MLB BOOKIE BU$TER The Chicago White Sox crushed left-handers last season, and here they'll get a look at Angels' lefty Andrew Heaney. OK, Heaney has impressive career numbers against the White Sox 3-0, 2.84 ERA in five career starts), but note Chicago lefty Dallas Keuchel's 12-2 record with a 3.36 ERA in 18 career games (17 starts) against the Halos. The White Sox were in the driver's seat for the better part of Thursday's game before giving it away late. I like them to bounce back today. 8* play on Chicago White Sox. |
04-01-21 | White Sox -111 v. Angels | 3-4 | Loss | -111 | 23 h 50 m | Show
OPENING DAY MLB BOOKIE BU$TER | LATE 10 PM ET FIRST PITCH I like the Chicago White Sox as a road favorite in Anaheim on Opening Day. White Sox ace Lucas Giolito is coming off a 4-3, 3.48 ERA season. He's had an impressive spring posting a 1.17 ERA with 30 strikeouts through 23 innings of work, and he is 2-0 with a 3.32 ERA in three career starts against the Halos. The Angels counter with Dylan Bundy who was 6-3 with a 3.29 ERA in 2020. The right-hander is 4-0 with a 3.86 ERA in five career games (four starts) against the White Sox, but their current roster has a .302 batting average over 54 combined at-bats against Bundy. 8* play on Chicago White Sox. |
10-27-20 | Rays v. Dodgers OVER 8 | 1-3 | Loss | -108 | 11 h 13 m | Show
RAYS VS DODGERS WORLD SERIES GAME 6 BOOKIE BU$TER We saw a total of 10 runs when tonight's starters, Blake Snell and Tony Gonsolin clashed in Game 2 of the World Series. I think we'll see another high-scoring encounter in this one as I like the Dodgers bats to stay hot, but the Rays won't back down with their backs against the wall and they know how to get to Gonsolin and the Dodgers' bullpen. Four of the first five games have seen eight runs or more. 8* play on OVER. |
10-23-20 | Dodgers -155 v. Rays | Top | 6-2 | Win | 100 | 36 h 11 m | Show |
WORLD SERIES GAME 3 BOOKIE BREAKER - 10* TOP PLAY The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays are heading into Game 3 of the World Series tied at one apiece. I think we are getting great value on the Dodgers to take a 2-1 lead in the series with Walker Buehler (1-0, 3.44 ERA) on the mound. Buehler has posted a 1.89 ERA while fanning 29 hitters over 19 innings of work in four postseason starts this year. Rays' Charlie Morton (2-2, 4.74 ERA) has posted a 0.57 ERA in the postseason, but that's only over 15 2/3 innings. This will be Buehler's first career start against the Rays while Morton has been roughed up in two career meetings with the Dodgers surrendering 11 runs (eight earned) over 11 innings. Look for the Dodgers to bounce back and win Game 3. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers. |
10-21-20 | Rays v. Dodgers UNDER 8 | 6-4 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 53 m | Show
WORLD SERIES GAME 2 - RAYS VS DODGERS BOOKIE BREAKER TOTAL Game 1 of the World Series saw 11 runs scored between the two teams. There were just two runs on the board before Dodgers picked up the pace in the fifth inning, and I think we'll see a lower scoring contest today. Rays' ace southpaw Blake Snell is always hard to reach and he is 2-2 with a 3.20 ERA in four postseason starts 2020. The Dodgers counter with right-hander Tony Gonsolin who has allowed seven runs in 6 1/3 innings in the postseason but note his 2.31 ERA in nine games (eight starts) during the regular season. Yesterday's contest went over due to late fireworks, but I think the bats will stay quiet throughout the whole game today. 8* play on UNDER. |
10-20-20 | Rays v. Dodgers -169 | 3-8 | Win | 100 | 17 h 7 m | Show
WORLD SERIES GAME 1 - RAYS VS DODGERS BOOKIE BU$TER The Los Angeles Dodgers battle back from a 3-1 deficit against the Braves in the NLCS to earn their spot in the World Series. The Tampa Bay Rays on the other hand almost choked away a 3-0 lead over Houston in the ALCS before winning the finale of the best-of-seven series 4-2. The Dodgers hand the ball to Clayton Kershaw (6-2, 2.16 ERA). The left-hander has been dealing with back spasms but has still managed to compile a 2-1 record with a 3.32 ERA in three 2020 playoff starts. The Rays counter with Tyler Glasnow (5-1, 4.08 ERA) who is 2-1 with a 4.66 ERA in four 2020 playoff starts. Glasnow has struggled with the longball in the postseason, and he'll be living dangerously against this hard-hitting Dodgers team. All in all, I'm not afraid to lay the juice on the best team in baseball with its ace on the mound. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers. |
10-20-20 | Rays v. Dodgers OVER 7.5 | 3-8 | Win | 103 | 8 h 19 m | Show
WORLD SERIES GAME 1 - RAYS VS DODGERS TOTAL The Los Angeles Dodgers battle back from a 3-1 deficit against the Braves in the NLCS to earn their spot in the World Series. With two tough starters everyone expects a pitching duel, right? Not me, I think the Dodgers bats will get them the W here, and as we only need 8 runs to win I think this is a no brainer. 8* play on OVER. |
10-17-20 | Braves +135 v. Dodgers | 1-3 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 40 m | Show
BRAVES VS DODGERS NLCS GAME 6 BANKROLL BUILDER The Atlanta Braves missed out on a chance to close out tbe NLCS and move on to the World Series on Friday. They still hold a 3-2 lead in the series and I like the price we get on the Braves here with their ace Max Fried (0-0, 1.50 ERA) on the mound. Fried has made 14 starts on the season and Atlanta has won all but one. The Dodgers counter with Walker Buehler (0-0, 1.80) who is a tough nut to crack as well, but I don't think he should be this big of a favorite over Fried. 8* play on Atlanta Braves. |
10-16-20 | Astros v. Rays -129 | Top | 7-4 | Loss | -129 | 17 h 39 m | Show |
ASTROS VS RAYS ALCS GAME 6 BIG HITTER - 10* MAX BET The Houston Astros are refusing to go out quietly and have staved off elimination twice already to force a Game 6. They're still in do-or-die mode, but here the pitching matchup will be a repeat from the series opener, a game Tampa Bay won 2-1, and I hold Tampa Bay lefty Blake Snell (1-0, 1.80 ERA) as a more reliable pitcher than Houston righty Framber Valdez (0-1, 3.00 ERA). Astros are 8-16 in their last 24 games as an underdog. Rays are 7-2 in their last 9 playoff games as a favorite. I like the Rays to finally put an end to the series tonight. 10* play on Tampa Bay Rays. |
10-15-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Braves | 2-10 | Loss | -139 | 8 h 17 m | Show
DODGERS VS BRAVES 8* THURSDAY NIGHT RUNLINE RIPPER The Los Angeles Dodgers came flying out of the gates on Wednesday and scored 11 runs in the first inning. They went on cruise control after that to earn a 15-3 victory, and I like the hungry Dodgers to tie the series at two apiece with another win tonight. The Dodgers will have a huge edge in this contest as they hand the ball to left-hander Clayton Kershaw (2-0, 1.93 ERA in the 2020 postseason) who is 5-0 with a 1.78 ERA in 11 career starts against the Braves. Atlanta counters with rookie right-hander Bryse Wilson (1-0, 4.02 ERA) who has just six big-league appearances under his belt, two starts. He owns a 15/9 K/BB ratio over 15 2/3 innings of work and I think the Dodgers will hit him hard and early, just like they did with Kyle Wright yesterday. 8* play on LA Dodgers -1.5. |

10-14-20 | Dodgers v. Braves +1.5 | 15-3 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 4 m | Show
DODGERS VS BRAVES NLCS GAME 3 RUNLINE RIPPER The Atlanta Braves are just two victories away from a spot in the World Series. They can set up for a sweep of the series with a win tonight, and even if the Braves don't win this one outright I like them to cover the runline. Dodgers southpaw Jose Urias (3-0, 3.27 ERA) posted a 4.67 ERA in four starts outside of Dodger Stadium during the regular season. Urias is a stud, but can he cool down Atlanta's red hot bats? The Braves counter with Kyle Wright (2-4, 5.21 ERA) who was 2-3 with a 5.63 ERA in five away starts during the regular season, but note that he's been red hot lately, allowing only two runs on six hits with 17 strikeouts over his last three starts covering 19 innings of work. Wright is backed up by relievers that have combined for a 2.22 ERA in the playoffs (only a total of seven earned runs conceded, six of them yesterday) while the Dodgers bullpen's ERA of 3.23 is a full run higher than the Braves'. All in all, this is a great price getting a run and a half on the team with all the momentum. 8* play on Atlanta Braves +1.5. |
10-13-20 | Braves v. Dodgers UNDER 8 | Top | 8-7 | Loss | -120 | 18 h 25 m | Show |
GAME OF THE MONTH (MLB) - BRAVES VS DODGERS GAME 2 MAX BET The first game of this series went under the total as the teams combined for six runs (four of them in the ninth inning) in a 5-1 Atlanta Braves win. I see no reason why Game 2 wouldn't be another pitchers duel. Braves righty Ian Anderson (3-2, 1.95 ERA) has not allowed a single earned run over his last three starts while recording 23 strikeouts over 17 2/3 innings of work. This will be the rookie's first career matchup with the Dodgers who counter with left-hander Clayton Kershaw (6-2, 2.16 ERA). Kershaw gave up three runs over six innings against San Diego last time out, but note his 1.78 ERA in 11 career starts against Atlanta. Under is 9-3-1 in Braves last 13 games vs. a left-handed starter. Under is 5-2-1 in Dodgers last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter. UPDATE: Kershaw has been scratched due to back spasms and he will be replaced by Tony Gonsolin. The right-hander has not pitched for 17 days, but note his solid 2.31 ERA with 46 strikeouts and seven walks in 46 2/3 innings during the regular season. I still think this will go under the total, and now we get an even better number. 10* play on UNDER. |
10-12-20 | Astros +1.5 v. Rays | 2-4 | Loss | -159 | 9 h 16 m | Show
ASTROS VS RAYS MLB BOOKIE BU$TER The Tampa Bay Rays opened the ALCS with a 2-1 win. I think Game 2 will be another close one and my numbers say the best value is taking the Houston Astros on the runline. Tampa Bay right-hander Charlie Morton (2-2, 4.74 ERA) is 4-6 with a 6.28 ERA in 11 starts against the Astros who counter with Lance McCullers Jr. (3-3, 3.93 ERA). This will be McCullers first career start against the Rays, which should give him an edge. The Astros bats have been hot in the postseason, they outhit the Rays 9-6 in Sunday's contest. Expect a better payoff for the Astros today. 8* play on Houston Astros +1.5. |
10-12-20 | Astros v. Rays UNDER 8.5 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 5 h 58 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Tampa Bay Rays opened the ALCS with a 2-1 win. That being said, note that under is 6-2 in Astros last 8 AL Championship games and 13-6-2 in their last 21 overall. Under is 8-2 in Rays last 10 playoff games as a favorite and 8-1-1 in their last 10 after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. In addition to the Astros covering the runline, I also like the under. 8* play on UNDER. |
10-11-20 | Astros +137 v. Rays | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 15 h 11 m | Show |
ASTROS VS RAYS ALCS BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY The Houston Astros are not getting much respect despite losing only one game in the playoffs, first sweeping Minnesota in two games before taking down Oakland in four games. The Astros have scored 33 runs over their last four games, and here they'll get a look at Tampa Bay left-hander Blake Snell (4-2, 3.24 ERA) who has allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks in 10 2/3 innings in his two postseason starts this year. This will be Snell's first meeting with the Astros this season. Snell is 2-2 with a 4.73 ERA in six career starts against Houston. The Astros counter with left-hander Framber Valdez (5-3, 3.57 ERA) who has conceded only two runs on seven hits and three walks over 12 innings in the postseason. This will be his first career start against the Rays. The Rays are coming off a hard-fought series against the AL East rival NY Yankees, and I like the price we get on the Astros here in the opener of this best-of-seven ALCS. 10* play on Houston Astros. |
10-09-20 | Yankees -154 v. Rays | 1-2 | Loss | -154 | 10 h 44 m | Show
YANKEES VS RAYS ALDS WIN-OR-GO-HOME BOOKIE BU$TER The New Yor Yankees forced a win-or-go-home Game 5 with a 5-1 victory on Thursday. Tonight they hand the ball to their ace Gerrit Cole (7-3, 2.84 ERA) who beat the Rays in Game 1 of this ALDS while the Tampa Bay Rays will open with Tyler Glasnow (5-1, 4.08 ERA), most likely to be followed by Blake Snell. Neither pitcher impressed in their previous starts of this series, but the Bronx Bombers have won each of Cole's last five starts and I don't think they'll disappoint in this one. 8* play on NY Yankees. |
10-08-20 | Rays v. Yankees -131 | 1-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 14 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The New York Yankees have been swinging hot bats since entering the postseason, scoring 40 runs in five games, all going over the total. Here they'll get a look at Tampa Bay right-hander Ryan Thompson who will serve as the opener for the Rays. Thompson has posted a 4.44 ERA on the season as is likely to be followed by left-hander Ryan Yarbrough (1-4, 3.56 ERA) who posted a 7.56 ERA in 11 innings on the road during the regular season. The Yankees hand the ball to Jordan Montgomery (2-3, 5.11 ERA) who has allowed seven runs in 10 innings over his last two starts. He gave up four runs on five hits in less than an inning against the Rays during the regular season. The Rays have scored 30 runs through their five postseason games with all but the first one going over the total. I expect this to be another high-scoring affair. Additionally to the game going over the total, I also like the desperate Yankees to force a win-or-go-home Game 5. 8* play on NY Yankees. |
10-08-20 | Rays v. Yankees OVER 9 | Top | 1-5 | Loss | -111 | 10 h 16 m | Show |
RAYS VS YANKEES ALDS GAME 4 MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The New York Yankees have been swinging hot bats since entering the postseason, scoring 40 runs in five games, all going over the total. 10* play on OVER. |
10-08-20 | Braves -137 v. Marlins | 7-0 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show
EARLY BRAVES VS MARLINS NLDS GAME 3 DAYTIME DESTROYER The Atlanta Braves have won the first two games of this NLDS as huge favorites. We are getting a much more affordable price on the Braves to complete the sweep of the best-of-five series and move on to the NLCS with a win today, and I'm happy to back the Braves at this price. Atlanta righty Kyle Wright (2-4, 5.21 ERA) has allowed a total of only two runs on three hits over 13 innings in his last two starts. He was lit up by Miami during the regular season, but even if that were to happen again, the Braves have the bats to bail him out and Wright is backed up by a bullpen that has posted a major leagues best 0.52 ERA over 17 1/3 innings in the postseason. Sixto Sanchez (3-2, 3.46 ERA) will take the ball for Miami. He has allowed nine runs on 16 hits over 12 innings in his last three starts combined. Sanchez made two starts against Atlanta during the regular season, allowing four runs on seven hits and five walks over nine innings of work. 8* play on Atlanta Braves. |
10-07-20 | A's v. Astros -114 | Top | 9-7 | Loss | -114 | 13 h 14 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (MLB) - TOP RATED ALDS MAJOR WAGER There was not much pressure on the Houston Astros heading into the playoffs as not much was expected from them following a lackluster regular season. They sure have everyone's attention now though after sweeping the Twins in the Wild Card round and winning the first two games of this ALDS against the Oakland Athletics. Houston righty Jose Urquidy (1-1, 2.73 ERA) is coming off a solid month of September during which he posted a 2.73 ERA, and only 22 hits allowed over 29 2/3 innings of work. Urquidy made one start against Oakland in the regular season, holding it to a pair of runs on two hits and a .100 AVG over six innings. The A's hand the ball to Jesus Luzardo (3-2, 4.12 ERA) who has allowed three runs or more in three of his last four starts. He gave up three runs on six hits in 3 1/3 frames of a 4-1 loss against the White Sox in the Wild Card round. Luzardo posted a solid 2.84ERA in two regular season starts against Houston, but this looks like a completely different team in the playoffs. 10* play on Houston Astros. |
10-06-20 | Marlins v. Braves UNDER 8 | Top | 5-9 | Loss | -103 | 14 h 48 m | Show |
EARLY MARLINS VS BRAVES NLDS BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY The Atlanta Braves didn't give up a single run in their 2-0 sweep of Cincinnati in the Wild Card round. Max Fried (0-0, 0.00 ERA) tossed seven scoreless innings in his start in that series and he has held Miami to two runs through 7 1/3 frames on the season. The Miami Marlins held the Cubs to one run in a 2-0 sweep of their own in the Wild Card round. Marlins' right-hander Sandy Alcantara (1-0, 1.35 ERA) held Chicago to a solo homer and a total of three hits over 6 2/3 innings on the mound. Alcantara has posted a 2.41 ERA in previous meetings with the Braves. 10* play on UNDER. |
10-05-20 | Yankees -144 v. Rays | 9-3 | Win | 100 | 20 h 1 m | Show
YANKEES VS RAYS MONDAY NIGHT BOOKIE BU$TER The New York Yankees put 22 runs on the board through their 2-0 sweep of the Tribe in the Wild Card round. I like them to open this best-of-five AL Division Series against Tampa Bay with a win. Tampa Bay left-hander Blake Snell (4-2, 3.24 ERA) faced the Yankees twice during the regular season and gave up three runs on four hits and four walks through eight innings. Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole (7-3, 2.84 ERA) has been lights out all season, but even more so in recent outings recording 37 Ks through his last 28 innings of work. His numbers against Tampa Bay this season are mediocre at best (4.96 ERA in three starts), but I expect Cole to be more focused here in the postseason. The Rays won the division and dominated the regular season series against the Yankees, winning eight of the 10 matchups. The betting market is still making the Bronx Bombers the favorite here, and for a good reason. 8* play on New York Yankees. |
10-01-20 | Reds v. Braves -129 | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show
AMERICAN LEAGUE MONEYLINE MASSACRE We won with Atlanta on Wednesday, but to be fair the Cincinnati Reds probably deserved to win that game. They wasted a lot of opportunities to drive runs in, and now the pressure is on as another loss would see them knocked out of the playoffs. I don't think the added press will be a good thing for Cincy, so I'm going with the Braves to close out the series. 8* play on Atlanta Braves. |
09-30-20 | Yankees -123 v. Indians | 10-9 | Win | 100 | 11 h 52 m | Show
YANKEES @ INDIANS AL WILD CARD SHOWDOWN GAME 2 The New York Yankees took Cleveland to the woodshed in the opener of this best-of-three AL Wild Card series, beating them by nine runs. I think the Yankees will close out the series tonight. Yankees' starter Masahiro Tanaka (3-3, 3.56 ERA) is clutch in the playoffs, boasting a 1.76 ERA in postseason games. Pitching on the road here should not affect Tanaka who posted a 2.33 ERA in four away starts during the regular season. The Tribe counter with Carlos Carrasco (3-4, 2.91 ERA) who is 2-3 with a 3.03 ERA at home this season. Yankees are 11-3 in their last 14 playoff games as a favorite. Indians are 0-7 in their last 7 playoff games as an underdog. 8* play on NY Yankees. |
09-30-20 | White Sox v. A's UNDER 7.5 | 3-5 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 24 m | Show
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AL TOTAL BOOKIE BU$TER The Oakland Athletics entered this three-game Wild Card showdown as the higher seed, but they are at risk of elimination following a 4-1 White Sox in on Tuesday. I think we'll see another low-scoring affair today. Yesterday, Oakland got just two hits off Chicago starter Lucas Giolito, and here they'll face another tough pitcher in left-hander Dallas Keuchel (6-2, 1.99 ERA). Keuchel has plenty of postseason experience and owns a 3.06 ERA in 22 career games (20 starts) against Oakland. The A's hand the ball to right-hander Chris Bassitt (5-2, 2.29 ERA) who has posted a 0.72 ERA in six home starts on the season and has allowed only one run through 26 2/3 innings of work this month. Under is 14-6-1 in White Sox last 21 games as an underdog. Under is 6-1-1 in Athletics last 8 games as a home favorite. 8* play on UNDER. |
09-30-20 | Reds v. Braves -125 | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 14 h 33 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY REDS @ BRAVES MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Cincinnati right-hander Trevor Bauer (5-4, 1.73 ERA) will face a Braves team that scored the second-most runs and home runs in Major League Baseball this season. The current Braves roster has a combined .232 batting average over 68 at-bats against Bauer. Atlanta has raked against right-handers all season, hitting .272 averaging 6.21 runs per nine innings. Atlanta left-hander Max Fried (7-0, 2.25 ERA) is 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA in three career games (one start) against the Reds, but their current roster has combined for just one hit over 18 at-bats. On the season, the Reds are hitting only .197 against southpaws while averaging 3.81 runs per nine innings. 10* play on Atlanta Braves. |
09-29-20 | White Sox -119 v. A's | Top | 4-1 | Win | 100 | 7 h 57 m | Show |
WHITE SOX VS A'S MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY OF THE DAY Oakland lefty Jesus Luzardo (3-2, 4.12) has been phenomenal home at the Coliseum on the season, boasting a 3-1 record with a 2.40 ERA in eight outings (six starts). I think he's in trouble here though, facing a White Sox team that has owned southpaws all year, finishing the regular season with a .279 batting average against left-handers. White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito (4-3, 3.48 ERA) is an undefeated 2-0 with a 2.79 ERA and .202 batting average in five away starts on the season. He has the current Oakland roster limited to a combined .184 batting average over 90 at bats. Oakland's relievers finished with an MLB-best 2.72 ERA, but the White Sox's bullpen was also ranked in the top 10. 10* play on Chicago White Sox. |
09-29-20 | Astros v. Twins -160 | 4-1 | Loss | -160 | 10 h 27 m | Show
TUESDAY AFTERNOON AL WILD CARD SHOWDOWN BOOKIE BU$TER The Minnesota Twins are a rather sizable favorite in Game 1 of this best-of-three American League wild-card series, but I think they'll prove well worth the price. Minnesota righty Kenta Maeda (6-1, 2.70 ERA) has been lights out pretty much whenever and wherever he has pitched this season, but even more so at Target Field where is 3-0 with a 1.91 ERA in five starts. This will be Astros' right-hander Zack Greinke's (3-3, 4.03 ERA) first start against the Twins of the season, but note his 1-4 record with a 5.14 ERA in seven career starts at Target Field. Do not underestimate the home advantage here as Minnesota finished a major-league-best 24-7 at home while Houston finished with a 9-23 road record. Astros are 2-7 in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a winning record and 2-10 in their last 12 road games vs. a right-handed starter. Twins are 17-5 in their last 22 home games vs. a right-handed starter. 8* play on Minnesota Twins. |
09-24-20 | Marlins v. Braves UNDER 9 | Top | 4-2 | Win | 100 | 12 h 39 m | Show |
THURSDAY NIGHT MLB TOTAL - MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY The Atlanta Braves put a 9-4 beating on the Marlins yesterday. I expect a lower scoring affair here in the finale of this four-game series Thursday night. Atlanta right-hander Ian Anderson (3-1, 2.36 ERA) has posted a 2.00 ERA in two home starts on the season, and the under is 6-2 in Marlins last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter. Miami right-hander Pablo Lopez (5-4, 3.96 ERA) has punched out 13 while conceding only three runs through 12 1/3 innings of work in his last two starts combined, both at home. While Lopez has not been quite as sharp on the road as at home, he's hot right now and I also don't expect the Marlins' bats to contribute enough runs to push the final score over the total. Note that Miami has scored only 11 runs through its last five games and that the under is 7-3-2 in the last 12 head-to-head matchups with Atlanta. 10* play on UNDER. |
09-24-20 | Yankees v. Blue Jays OVER 9.5 | 1-4 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 20 m | Show
YANKEES @ BLUE JAYS THURSDAY NIGHT NO BRAINER The Toronto Blue Jays put a 14-1 beating on the Yankees on Wednesday night for their second win in the first three games of this series. Each of the first three games has gone over the total with easy, and I expect another slugfest tonight as the Yankees look to get back on track with a win. Yankees left-hander Jordan Montgomery (2-2, 5.12 ERA) was tagged with four runs in 4 2/3 innings of a 6-5 win at Boston last time out. He has posted an ugly 8.25 ERA in three road starts on the season and he'll face a Toronto team that has scored 32 runs through its last four games. The Blue Jays counter with left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu (4-2, 3.00 ERA) who is 0-2 with an 8.80 ERA in three career starts against the Yankees after allowing five runs in five innings against them earlier this month. Over is 8-3 in Blue Jays last 11 overall. Over is 4-0 in Yankees last 4 overall. Over is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings. 8* play on OVER. |
09-23-20 | Phillies v. Nationals OVER 9.5 | Top | 12-3 | Win | 100 | 14 h 49 m | Show |
PHILLIES @ NATIONALS WEDNESDAY NIGHT TOTAL TOP PLAY Phillies' right-hander Zach Eflin (3-2, 4.28 ERA) gave up four runs in six frames of a 6-5 extra-inning Philadelphia win over the Nats earlier this month. For his career, Eflin is 3-3 with a 4.43 ERA in eight starts against the Nationals. Washington righty Erick Fedde (2-3, 4.36 ERA) has faced the Phillies twice this season, allowing 10 runs on 11 hits over 11 innings for an ugly 8.18 ERA. Phillies' bullpen ranks dead last across the major leagues with a 7.21 ERA while the Nats rank 18th with a 4.48 ERA. Additionally, the bullpens were quite heavily used in Tuesday's doubleheaders. The over is 14-5 in Nationals last 19 games with the total set at 9.0-10.5. 10* play on OVER. |
09-23-20 | Angels v. Padres UNDER 8.5 | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 40 m | Show
EARLY ANGELS @ PADRES TOTAL DAYTIME DESTROYER Padres right-hander Mike Clevinger (3-2, 3.10 ERA) held the Angels to two runs through six innings of a 2-0 loss in his team debut since coming over from the Tribe on Sept. 3. Last time out, Clevinger held San Francisco scoreless through a seven-inning complete game. Under is 5-1-2 in Angels last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter. Angels righty Jaime Barria (1-0, 3.26 ERA) will face the Padres for the first time since 2018. He owns a 2.61 ERA in two appearances (one start) on the road in 2020 and under is 5-2-1 in Padres last 8 games vs. a right-handed starter. 8* play on UNDER. |
09-22-20 | Cardinals v. Royals UNDER 9 | Top | 5-0 | Win | 104 | 12 h 43 m | Show |
MAJOR WAGER - TUESDAY MLB TOTAL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The St. Louis Cardinals had won four straight prior to a 4-1 loss to the Kansas City Royals in the opener of a three-game series on Monday. They remain desperate for wins as they enter Tuesday tied with Cincinnati for second in the NL Central, but the Royals won't roll over, especially not with rookie right-hander Brady Singer (3-4, 4.14 ERA) on the mound. Singer is coming off a pair of scoreless starts while allowing only three overs 14 frames, and the Cards have struggled to produce runs all season ranking only 20th with 4.64 runs per game. Left-hander Austin Gomber (0-1, 2.37 ERA) will take the ball for St. Louis, filling in for Dakota Hudson. Gomber was knocked around as a reliever at Pittsburgh on Friday, but he has 6 2/3 scoreless frames against Kansas City throughout his career. We can also note that KC ranks just 27th for runs scored per game with 4.26 rpg average. Under is 20-6-1 in Cardinals last 27 interleague road games. Under is 6-0 in Royals last 6 games vs. a left-handed starter. 10* play on UNDER. |
09-22-20 | Orioles -100 v. Red Sox | 3-8 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 25 m | Show
ORIOLES @ RED SOX MLB BOOKIE BLA$TER I like the price we get backing the Orioles at Fenway Park Tuesday night. The Boston Red Sox are just 8-19 at home on the season and 6-20 in their last 26 games vs. a left-handed starter. Here they'll come up against Orioles southpaw Keegan Akin (1-1, 3.38 ERA) who punched out nine through five scoreless innings of a 5-1 win over Atlanta last time out. Right-hander Nick Pivetta (0-0, 15.88 ERA) will make his team debut for the Red Sox since coming over from Philadelphia. He has made just three appearances on the season, but has still managed to get tagged with 10 runs on 10 hits (three homers) over just 5 2/3 innings of work. Baltimore has won four of seven meetings on the season and they own the better overall record at 23-31 to Boston's 20-34. 8* play on Baltimore Orioles. |
09-22-20 | Rays -125 v. Mets | 2-5 | Loss | -125 | 5 h 47 m | Show
RAYS @METS BOOKIE BASHER The Tampa Bay Rays have won five of their last six. Starting pitcher Blake Snell (4-1, 3.05 ERA) held the Orioles to one run over 5 1/3 frames last time out. |
09-21-20 | Brewers v. Reds -123 | Top | 3-6 | Win | 100 | 8 h 54 m | Show |
MONDAY NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE TOP PLAY The Milwaukee Brewers have won four straight and five of their last six games. However, here they'll run into an even hotter team in the Cincinnati Reds who have won seven of their last eight, and I like the Reds in this matchup. Reds righty Luis Castillo (3-5, 3.03 ERA) is 3-0 with a 1.23 ERA on the month and he has posted a 2.25 ERA in four home starts on the season. In his last home start, Castillo fanned 10 and blanked Pittsburgh through seven frames of a 1-0 win. Brewers righty Brandon Woodruff (2-4, 3.45 ERA) is a winless 0-2 through his last four starts overall and 1-2 with a 3.60 ERA in five road starts on the season. In his last away start, Woodruff gave up three runs in 4 1/3 frames of a 4-3 loss at Cleveland. Brewers are 1-7 in their last 8 road games vs. a right-handed starter. Reds are 6-0 in their last 6 home games vs. a right-handed starter. 10* play on Cincinnati Reds. |
09-21-20 | White Sox +102 v. Indians | 4-7 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 15 m | Show
WHITE SOX @ INDIANS MONDAY NIGHT MLB BANKROLL BUILDER White Sox right-hander Dane Dunning (2-0, 2.33 ERA) has made five career starts, and the White Sox have won them all. Last time out, Dunning limited the Twins to two runs (one earned) over seven innings in a 6-2 triumph. Cleveland counters with right-hander Aaron Civale (3-5, 3.80 ERA) who is a winless 0-3 through his last five starts. The Tribe lost four of those five games. White Sox are 24-8 in their last 32 overall. Indians are 3-9 in their last 12 overall. 8* play on Chicago White Sox. |
09-20-20 | Rangers v. Angels UNDER 9.5 | 7-2 | Win | 100 | 8 h 56 m | Show
RANGERS VS ANGELS SUNDAY AFTERNOON MLB TOTAL Angels righty Julio Teheran (0-3, 8.90 ERA) is having an awful season, but this looks like a good spot to turn things around as Texas has scored only eight runs through its last five games. Rangers righty Kyle Cody (0-1, 1.42 ERA) will make his fourth major league start and has yet to allow more than one run in any of his outings. Under is 4-0-1 in Rangers last 5 overall and 5-2-1 in their last 8 during game 3 of a series. Under is 6-2-2 in the last 10 meetings overall and Under is 20-6-1 in the last 27 meetings in Anaheim. 8* play on UNDER. |

09-20-20 | Cardinals -157 v. Pirates | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 3 h 3 m | Show
MLB NO BRAINER Cards right-hander Jack Flaherty (3-2, 5.52 ERA) is 5-1 with a 1.94 ERA in eight career starts against Pittsburgh. Pirates are 16-35 in their last 51 games vs. a right-handed starter. Pittsburgh right-hander Joe Musgrove (0-5, 5.74 ERA) is 1-7 with a 6.75 ERA in eight career starts against St. Louis. Cardinals are 5-0 in their last 5 games vs. a right-handed starter. 8* play on St. Louis Cardinals. |
09-20-20 | Yankees -1.5 v. Red Sox | Top | 2-10 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 2 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (MLB) - TOP RATED RUNLINE RIPPER MAJOR WAGER The New York Yankees are riding a season-high 10-game winning streak and they have covered the runline in all but two of those games. They put an 8-0 beating on the Red Sox on Saturday and here they'll get to tee of versus right-hander Tanner Houck (1-0, 0.00 ERA) who will make just his second career start. While Houck did a good job shutting down Miami through seven frames in his debut, taking on the Yankees is just a whole different animal. Rookie right-hander Deivi Garcia (2-1, 3.28 ERA) will take the ball for the Yankees, coming off back-to-back seven inning outings. The Yankees have won three of his previous four starts, covering the runline in all wins. 10* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
09-19-20 | Yankees -1.5 v. Red Sox | Top | 8-0 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
SATURDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY The New York Yankees are riding a nine-game winning streak after coming back from a four-run deficit to defeat Boston in extra innings on Friday. They have covered the runline in all but two of those nine triumphs and I like them to win big Saturday. Yankees southpaw J.A. Happ (1-2, 3.96 ERA) is 12-4 with a 2.95 ERA in 26 outings (25 starts) against the Red Sox. He held them to one run on three hits through 5 2/3 innings of a 4-2 Yankees win back in August. Chris Mazza (1-1, 5.57 ERA) will take the ball for Boston for his fifth career start. He faced the Yankees twice in the Bronx back in August, allowing a total of four runs on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings of work. Boston lost both games, 5-2 and 4-2. 10* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
09-18-20 | Rays v. Orioles UNDER 8.5 | 2-1 | Win | 100 | 8 h 25 m | Show
RAYS @ ORIOLES FRIDAY NIGHT TOTAL Tampa Bay righty Tyler Glasnow (3-1, 4.47 ERA) is 3-0 with a 2.12 ERA in five starts against Baltimore and he has posted a 2.88 ERA in six starts under the lights this season. The Orioles have really struggled at the plate lately and I don't see them contributing enough runs to push the score over the total. Under is 5-1 in Orioles last 6 games as a home underdog and 6-2 in Orioles last 8 vs. American League East rivals. 8* play on UNDER. |
09-18-20 | Yankees -1.5 v. Red Sox | 6-5 | Loss | -130 | 11 h 37 m | Show
FRIDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER - NO BRAINER The New York Yankees are red hot, heading into this contest riding an eight-game winning streak and they have covered the runline in all but one of those games. Additionally, they're going for their 11th consecutive win over the Boston Red Sox. Red Sox left-hander Martin Perez (3-4, 4.33 ERA) is 0-3 with a 5.48 ERA in his four home start on the season and 2/3 with a 9.85 ERA in six career starts against the Yankees. New York left-hander Jordan Montgomery (2-2, 4.76 ERA) is 1-0 with a 3.42 ERA in five career starts against Boston. The Red Sox are just 3-14 SU and 5-12 against the runline as home underdogs. 8* play on New York Yankees -1.5. |
09-18-20 | Braves v. Mets UNDER 8.5 | Top | 15-2 | Loss | -100 | 11 h 13 m | Show |
BRAVES @ METS FRIDAY NIGHT MLB TOTAL TOP PLAY I think we will see a relatively low-scoring affair in this battle between left-handers. Mets' southpaw Steven Matz (0-4, 8.63 ERA) is having a tough year, but note that he is 6-2 with a 2.83 ERA in 14 starts against the Braves who are hitting just .233 against left-handers on the season. Atlanta lefty Max Fried (6-0, 1.98 ERA) is having a great year and he is 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA in 12 games (seven starts) against the Mets who are hitting right-hander better than left-handers. Under is 5-1 in Braves last 6 road games vs. a left-handed starter. Under is 5-2 in the last 7 head-to-head meetings at Citi Field. 10* play on UNDER. |
09-16-20 | Giants -145 v. Mariners | 9-3 | Win | 100 | 13 h 13 m | Show
LATE NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE The Seattle Mariners are listed as the home team, but they will actually be on the road as this two-game series has been moved to the Bay Area because of poor air quality in Seattle. I like the San Francisco Giants to come through with a win with left-hander Drew Smyly (0-0, 2.92 ERA) on the mound. Smyly has 19 Ks with only nine hits and five walks allowed over 12 1/3 innings of work on the season and Seattle is hitting an abysmal .187 off southpaws in 2020. The Mariners hand the ball to right-hander Ljay Newsome (0-0, 3.24 ERA) who has only three career outings (two starts) under his belt. Seattle lost both hits starts and Newsome has yet to make it past the fourth inning. 8* play on San Francisco Giants. |
09-16-20 | Blue Jays v. Yankees -1.5 | 2-13 | Win | 100 | 9 h 45 m | Show
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE NO BRAINER The New York Yankees have found their rhythm. They have outscored opponents 48-11 through a six-game winning streak, and I think they'll make it seven on the bounce tonight when hosting Toronto at Yankee Stadium. Yankee right-hander Gerrit Cole (5-3, 3.20 ERA) held Baltimore to two hits through a complete game (seven innings) of a 6-0 win last time out. A much needed solid outing for Cole who had been roughed up in several starts prior to that. Cole is 3-1 with a 2.27 ERA in five home starts on the season while Baltimore has averaged only 3.8 runs per game over its last five games. Tanner Roark (2-1, 5.60 ERA) will toe the slab for Toronto. Roark has allowed 10 runs on 17 hits while serving up five homers over 13 1/3 innings in his last three starts combined. His last outing, he gave up a couple of solo homers in four innings of a 7-2 home loss to this very Yankees team. 8* play on NY Yankees -1.5. |
09-16-20 | Pirates v. Reds -1.5 | Top | 0-1 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 9 m | Show |
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY The Cincinnati Reds are riding a four-game winning streak and are going for the sweep of this four-game series on Wednesday. While they are making a series push for a playoff spot, the NL Central-worst Pittsburgh Pirates are heading in the opposite direction, entering this contest off seven consecutive losses. Cincinnati right-hander Luis Castillo (2-5, 3.44 ERA) is coming off a nine-inning complete game while allowing just two hits in a 3-1 win at St. Louis. He owns a 3.00 ERA in nine career starts against the Pirates who hand the ball to J.T. Brubaker. Brubaker (1-1, 5.34 ERA) was lit up for seven runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings of an 8-1 loss to Chicago White Sox last time out. This will be his first start against the Reds, who have scored 26 runs over their last four games. 10* play on Cincinnati Reds. |
09-15-20 | Dodgers v. Padres +1.5 | 3-1 | Loss | -145 | 11 h 1 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER The San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers have split eight meetings on the season. The Friars defeated the Dodgers 7-2 on Monday to move just 1 1/2 games back of the National League West leaders. I like the value we get on the Padres to keep it close and perhaps even edge out an outright win tonight. Dodgers right-hander Tony Gonsolin (0-1, 1.57 ERA) has cooled off since a hot start to the season. The Dodgers have lost each of his last two starts 5-2 with Gonsolin allowing five runs (four earned) on nine hits over 11 innings of work. San Diego counters with Zach Davies (7-2, 2.48 ERA) who has held opponents to 12 runs (eight earned) over 32 2/3 innings through a five-game winning streak. Davies owns a 3-2 career record with a 2.08 ERA against the Dodgers, and I like him to keep the Padres well in this game. 8* play on San Diego Padres -1.5. |
09-15-20 | Cardinals v. Brewers OVER 8.5 | 3-18 | Win | 100 | 6 h 35 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers split a doubleheader on Monday. I do however think the Cards have a nice edge in Tuesday's matchup. St. Louis right-hander Jack Flaherty (3-1, 3.08 ERA) has allowed two or fewer runs in five of six starts on the season and never more than three. He owns a 4.68 ERA in previous meetings with Milwaukee but he has its current roster limited to a .239 batting average over 68 at bats. Additionally, the Brewers are 0-6 in their last 6 games vs. a right-handed starter. Left-hander Brett Anderson (2-3, 4.64 ERA) will take the mound for the Brew Crew. Anderson took on the Cardinals on Sep 6 when he gave up four runs on six hits through five innings of a 4-1 loss. The Cardinals are 13-6 in their last 19 games vs. a left-handed starter and look good to get the better of Anderson again. In addition to the Cardinals to win the game, I also like the over. 8* play on OVER. |
09-14-20 | Braves -1.5 v. Orioles | Top | 1-14 | Loss | -109 | 9 h 8 m | Show |
MONDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY The Baltimore Orioles have dropped five of the bounce while the Atlanta Braves have won four of their last five. Braves' righty Touki Toussaint (0-1, 7.89 ERA) has admittedly had a poor start to the season, but note that Baltimore has scored just three runs over its last four games. Also, I think Toussaint will get plenty of run support from a motivated Braves lineup looking to make sure the team holds on to their lead in the NL East division. The Orioles on the other hand are pretty much out of the playoff race, sitting second to last in the AL East, 9.5 games behind leading Tampa Bay. Right-hander Jorge Lopez (1-0, 6.38 ERA) is struggling and gave up five runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings against the Mets last time out. Here he'll face an Atlanta side that is hitting .277 against right-handers on the season. Braves are 7-1 in their last 8 road games and 12-2 in their last 14 interleague games vs. a team with a losing record. Orioles are 2-10 in their last 12 interleague home games vs. a team with a winning record. 10* play on Atlanta Braves -1.5. |
09-14-20 | Pirates v. Reds UNDER 6 | 1-3 | Win | 110 | 5 h 13 m | Show
PIRATES @ REDS GAME 1 - EARLY BANKROLL BUILDER This is the first game of a double-header, and as such it will go only seven innings. The Pirates have scored just eight runs through their last four games and were shut out at Kansas City on Sunday. The Cincinnati Reds are coming off a 10-5 win at St. Louis but had scored only 24 runs over their previous six (four runs per game). With only seven innings, this will be mostly about the starting pitchers and both Pittsburgh's Cody Ponce and Reds' Trevor Bauer are having solid seasons. Ponce (1-1, 3.46 ERA) is coming off 5 2/3 scoreless innings of five-hit ball at St. Louis while Bauer (4-3, 1.74 ERA) is coming off 7 2/3 shutout innings of three-hit ball at Chicago Cubs. 8* play on UNDER 6. |
09-13-20 | Indians v. Twins UNDER 8 | Top | 5-7 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 39 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (MLB) - INDIANS @ TWINS TOTAL TOP PLAY The Minnesota Twins are going for the sweep on Sunday after winning the first two games of the series 3-1 and 8-4. The under is 39-16-3 in the last 58 meetings between these two clubs and I expect this to be another low-scoring affair. Minnesota righty Michael Pineda (1-0, 2.77 ERA) owns a 2.81 ERA in three career starts against the Indians who's 23-year-old right-hander Triston McKenzie (2-0, 2.57 ERA) will make his first career start against Minnesota. McKenzie has had a very encouraging rookie season with just 11 hits allowed while punching out 26 over his 21 innings of work. Additionally, both bullpens are among the best in baseball with Cleveland's in 4th with a 3.50 ERA and Minnesota's in 7th with a 3.69 ERA. 10* play on UNDER 8. |
09-13-20 | Pirates v. Royals UNDER 9 | 0-11 | Loss | -115 | 3 h 29 m | Show
PIRATES @ ROYALS TOTAL BOOKIE BLA$TER The Kansas City Royals have been rather effective on the plate through a five-game winning streak. I don't think they'll have quite as much success here as they get their first look of Pittsburgh right-hander Chad Kuhl (1-1, 3.38 ERA) who has given up one run or fewer in five of his eight outings. Kansas City counters with right-hander Brad Keller (3-2, 2.60 ERA) who gave up five runs at Cleveland last time out, but note his 0.50 ERA in three home starts on the season. Additionally, neither bullpen is terrible with Royals' ranking 11th and Pirates' 16th. Under is 9-1-1 in Pirates last 11 Sunday games. Under is 5-0 in Royals last 5 Sunday games. Under is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings. 8* play on UNDER 9. |
09-12-20 | Astros v. Dodgers -142 | 7-5 | Loss | -142 | 11 h 12 m | Show
SATURDAY NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE This looks like a good spot to back the LA Dodgers off a loss to Arizona on Friday. They'll face a slumping Astros side that has lost eight of its last nine games and tonight's Houston starter, left-hander Framber Valdez (3-3, 3.61), was lit up for eight runs on 11 hits in seven innings at LA Angels last time out. We can also note that Valdez gave up three runs on four hits over 4 1/3 innings to the Dodgers on July 28. The Dodgers counter with southpaw Julio Urias (3-0, 3.86 ERA) who is 2-0 with a 3.16 ERA in five starts home at Dodger Stadium on the season. Dodgers are 8-2 in their last 10 games vs. a left-handed starter and 43-17 in their last 60 games following a loss. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers. |
09-12-20 | Orioles +1.5 v. Yankees | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 11 h 59 m | Show |
SUPER EARLY ORIOLES @ YANKEES MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY The New York Yankees swept a doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. Still, they've won only five of eight meetings on the season and I like the value we get backing Baltimore on the runline on Saturday. The Yankees have lost each of left-hander Jordan Montgomery's last three starts. Montgomery (2-2, 5.72 ERA) allowed nine runs (eight earned) over nine innings in those games, and while not many Baltimore hitters have seen Montgomery before, note that they are hitting a solid .275 off southpaws on the season. The Orioles counter with rookie right-hander Dean Kremer (1-0, 1.50 ERA) who will make his second career start. He held the Yankees to one run with seven Ks through six innings of a 5-1 win on September 6. The Yankees offense is inconsistent with designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton on the 10-day IL with a hamstring injury and right fielder Aaron Judge out with a calf injury. 10* play on Baltimore Orioles. |
09-11-20 | Reds -112 v. Cardinals | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 7 h 60 m | Show
REDS @ CARDINALS MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE This looks like a tough spot for the St. Louis Cardinals who are coming off of a doubleheader split against the Tigers. They'll face Reds righty Luis Castillo (1-5, 3.95 ERA) who held the Pirates to two runs on seven hits while punching out eight in six innings last time out. Castillo will be opposed by veteran righty Adam Wainwright (4-0, 2.68 ERA) who limited the Cubs to two runs on six hits through 6 1/3 innings last time out. Wainright has poor numbers against several hitters on this Reds roster and he owns a 5.14 ERA in 33 career outings (28 starts) against Cincy. 8* play on Cincinnati Reds. |
09-11-20 | Tigers v. White Sox -1.5 | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -135 | 14 h 13 m | Show |
FRIDAY NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY The Detroit Tigers split a couple of games at St. Louis on Thursday. They're in a tough spot here following a double-header, and they'll face a White Sox side which will send its ace Lucas Giolito to the mound. Giolito (4-2, 3.29 ERA) has not been at his best in his last two outings, but note that the White Sox have won his last four starts and covered the runline each time. He faced the Tigers last month and held to three hits through seven scoreless innings of a 9-0 win. The Tigers counter with rookie right-hander Casey Mize (0-1, 6.75 ERA). This will be his fifth career start overall and second against the White Sox. Back on August 19, Mize was tagged wtih three runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings of a 5-3 loss to the White Sox. This is the third time the White Sox are a home favorite of -200 or more this season. They won the previous two games 10-3 and 4-0. 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |
09-10-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | 2-5 | Loss | -130 | 16 h 57 m | Show
LATE NIGHT MLB NO BRAINER Arizona southpaw Madison Bumgarner has solid career numbers against the Dodgers, but he's having an absolutely abysmal year and this will be just his second start since returning from the 10-day injured list with a back injury. Bumgarner (0-4, 8.44 ERA) has made five starts on the season, with the D'backs losing them all, and four of them by two or more runs. Right-hander Dustin May (1-1, 2.88 ERA) will take the ball for the Dodgers. The team has won six of his eight starts on the season, covering the runline in all but one of the wins. Arizona has dropped 10 of its last 11 overall and has covered the runline in only three of those 10 losses. 8* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
09-09-20 | Dodgers -1.5 v. Diamondbacks | Top | 6-4 | Win | 100 | 17 h 52 m | Show |
LATE NIGHT MIDWEEK MASSACRE - MLB TOP PLAY The 31-12 Los Angeles Dodgers have a +99 run differential on the season while the 15-28 Arizona Diamondbacks have a -43 run differential. D'Backs righty Taylor Clarke (1-0, 2.96 ERA) gave up three runs on two hits and one walk in three innings of an 11-2 loss to the Dodgers back in August. Clarke owns a weak 27-15 K/BB ratio on the season while Dodgers' left-hander Clayton Kershaw owns a 41-6 K/BB ratio. Kershaw (5-1, 1.50 ERA) has held the D'Backs to four hits over 11 2/3 scoreless innings across two starts on the season and the D'Backs are batting only .213 against southpaws. The Dodgers have won all but one of Kershaw's seven starts in 2020, and they have covered the runline in all those wins. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |
09-09-20 | Reds v. Cubs -143 | 3-0 | Loss | -143 | 10 h 38 m | Show
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MLB NO BRAINER Cubs' right-hander Yu Darvish (7-1, 1.44 ERA) has been terrific for most of the season and he has allowed just five runs over his last 46 innings of work. On Aug 29, he held this very Reds team scoreless with eight strikeouts over six innings of a 3-0 triumph. Just like tonight, he was opposed by Reds righty Trevor Bauer (3-3, 2.05 ERA) who was charged with the three runs during his 5 1/3 innings on the mound. Over his last three starts, Bauer has surrendered 11 runs (eight earned) over 18 innings. The Reds were shut out in a 3-0 loss to the Cubs on Tuesday, and I think they'll come up short again tonight. 8* play on Chicago Cubs. |
09-09-20 | Royals v. Indians UNDER 8 | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 56 m | Show
ROYALS VS INDIANS WEDNESDAY NIGHT BOOKIE BA$HER TOTAL The Cleveland Indians are 27-12-3 to the under on the season, including 9-3-1 in games with a total of eight runs or lower. Cleveland righty Carlos Carrasco (2-3, 3.43 ERA) has allowed just one run through 12 innings in his last two starts combined. KC southpaw Danny Duffy (2-3, 4.83 ERA) has been lit up in his last two starts, but he should be able to handle a Cleveland side that ranks in the bottom third for batting average, on-base percentage, and home runs. Under is 4-1 in Royals last 5 games with the total set at 7.0-8.5 runs and 15-7-2 in Royals last 24 overall. 8* play on UNDER 8. |
09-08-20 | Yankees v. Blue Jays -109 | Top | 1-2 | Win | 100 | 14 h 13 m | Show |
YANKEES VS BLUE JAYS BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY The New York Yankees have dropped five on the bounce and seven of their last eight after taking a 12-7 beating here at Sahlen Field on Monday. The Blue Jays are trending in the opposite direction with five wins in their last seven games, and I think they'll have the edge again here Game 2 of the series. Yankees' left-hander J.A. Happ (1-1, 4.68 ERA) was knocked around for four runs on eight hits in five innings at New York Mets last time out. The Jays are likely to give him trouble as well as they're batting .270 against southpaws on the season. Taijuan Walker (3-2, 3.26 ERA) will take the ball for Toronto. Walker has held Boston and Baltimore to a combined two runs over 11 2/3 innings of work since coming over from Seattle. He'll be pleased to know that both Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton once again will be missing from the Bronx Bombers lineup. Yankees are 1-7 in their last 8 games as a road underdog and 1-8 in their last 9 vs. a team with a winning record. Blue Jays are 9-3 in their last 12 games as a favorite and 7-2 in their last 9 vs. a team with a winning record. 10* play on Toronto Blue Jays. |
09-08-20 | Rays -147 v. Nationals | 3-5 | Loss | -147 | 8 h 10 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT NO BRAINER - MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE The Tampa Bay Rays will be looking to tie the series after dropping the opener 6-1 on Monday. The Rays struggled to get to Max Scherzer, but their bats should have more success tonight against Nats righty Anibal Sanchez (1-4, 6.48 ERA) who has been lit up for nine runs (six earned) on 16 hits over 8 1/3 frames in his last two starts combined. The Rays counter with left-hander Ryan Yarbrough (0-2, 3.65 ERA) who is still looking for his first winning decision despite some solid pitching. Last time out, he held Miami scoreless through 6 2/3 innings of four-hit ball in a 2-0 Rays win over Miami, and the team has won three of his last four starts. Rays are 8-0 in their last 8 games following a loss and 14-3 in their last 17 road games. Nationals are 5-15 in their last 20 home games and 1-8 in their last 9 games following a win. 8* play on Tampa Bay Rays. |
09-07-20 | Yankees v. Blue Jays UNDER 9 | Top | 7-12 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 50 m | Show |
YANKEES VS BLUE JAYS TOTAL TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The New York Yankees are struggling to put runs on the board without injured Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. Over their last four games, the Bronx Bombers have scored just a total of six runs and here they'll come up against left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu who's having a terrific year. Through his last six starts, Ryu (3-1, 2.51 ERA) has allowed a total of just four earned runs. The Yankees counter with left-hander Jordan Montgomery (2-2, 5.76 ERA) who was lit up for four runs on five hits while recording just two outs before getting chased off the mound last time out. He is however 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA in four career outings (three starts) against Toronto. Under is 9-2-1 in Yankees last 12 games as a road underdog and 5-1 in their last 6 games vs. a left-handed starter. Under is 4-1-1 in Blue Jays last 6 games as a home favorite. 10* play on UNDER 9. |
09-06-20 | Padres -110 v. A's | Top | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 14 h 0 m | Show |
PADRES VS ATHLETICS MLB TOP PLAY OF THE DAY The San Diego Padres had won four of five including a 7-0 win over Oakland on Friday prior to an 8-4 loss to the A's yesterday. Oakland had scored just five runs through a three-game slide prior to that win and I like the Padres to bounce back in the finale of this three-game set on Sunday. Oakland righty Mike Fiers (4-1, 4.86 ERA) has posted a 6.46 ERA in three home starts on the season. The current Padres roster has a .327 batting average over 60 at bats against him. San Diego righty Garrett Richards (1-2, 4.63 ERA) is 1-0 with a 2.82 ERA in four away starts in 2020. Richards has this A's roster limited to a .242 batting average over 58 at bats. 10* play on San Diego Padres. |
09-06-20 | Diamondbacks v. Giants -145 | 2-4 | Win | 100 | 3 h 29 m | Show
D'BACKS VS GIANTS MLB BANKROLL BUILDER The Arizona Diamondbacks have dropped 14 of their last 16 games and they've lost each of left-hander Alex Young's last three starts. Young (1-2, 4.50 ERA) has surrendered 10 runs (8 earned) through 14 innings in these games. He went 2-1 with a 4.11 ERA in three starts against the Giants last season, but I think Young will find it tough to outduel Giants' veteran Johnny Cueto (2-0, 4.75 ERA) who is 11-3 behind a 3.03 ERA in 17 career starts against the D'Backs. Cueto has the current Arizona team limited to a .173 batting average over 109 at bats and the D'Backs bats have been ice cold for quite some time now. 8* play on San Francisco Giants. |
09-06-20 | Tigers +1.5 v. Twins | 10-8 | Win | 100 | 11 h 54 m | Show
TIGERS VS TWINS FREE PICK SEPTEMBER 6, 2020 The Minnesota Twins are riding a five-game winning streak while the Detroit Tigers have dropped four in a row. The last two games of this four-game series have however been one-run games, and I expect the Tigers to keep it close again here in the series finale on Sunday. Tigers 23-year-old righty Casey Mize's (0-1, 6.75 ERA) rookie numbers are not pretty overall, but note his 13 Ks over 10 2/3 innings of work and that the Twins are hitting just .241 (19th) vs. right-handers on the season. Twins left-hander Rich Hill (1-1, 3.94 ERA) gave up two runs on three hits and four walks in 3 1/3 innings of an 8-5 team loss to the White Sox last time out. The Tigers are one of the best teams in the league at hitting southpaws and Miguel Cabrera is 5-for-12 with a homer and three RBIs against Hill. Free pick on Detroit Tigers +1.5. 09-06-20 | Nationals +115 v. Braves | 3-10 | Loss | -100 | 5 h 49 m | Show
SUPER EARLY NATS VS BRAVES MLB BOOKIE BREAKER The Washington Nationals have scored 10 runs in back-to-back wins over Atlanta. I like their bats to stay hot here against Atlanta right-hander Josh Tomlin (1-2, 4.37 ERA) who gave up four runs, three earned, in 4 1/3 innings of a 4-1 loss to Philadelphia last time out. Tomlin is 0-1 with a 4.58 ERA in nine career appearances, two starts, against Washington and the current Nats roster is batting a combined .287 over 90 at bats against him. Patrick Corbin (2-3, 3.79 ERA) will take the ball for the Nationals. In 12 career appearances (10 starts) against Braves, Corbin is 6-2 with a 1.95 ERA and he has the current Braves team limited to a .205 batting average over 167 at bats. 8* play on Washington Nationals. |

09-05-20 | White Sox -1.5 v. Royals | Top | 5-3 | Win | 100 | 19 h 58 m | Show |
GAME OF THE WEEK (MLB) - TOP RATED MAJOR WAGER The Chicago White Sox are 10-1 SU (9-2 against the runline) as road favorites in 2020. They defeated the Kansas City Royals 7-4 Friday night and I like the White Sox to get another win Saturday. The Royals are losers of five straight and the team has lost each of tonight's starter, left-hander Kris Bubic's (0-4, 5.46 ERA), six starts on the season. He'll face a White Sox side that has the second-best batting average against left-handers this season (.304). The White Sox counter with Lucas Giolito (3-2, 3.14 ERA) who has recorded 34 Ks through 21 innings of work over his last three starts, all Chicago wins. Giolito owns a 6-2 record and 2.75 ERA in 12 career starts against Kansas City. 10* play on Chicago White Sox -1.5. |

09-04-20 | Padres v. A's UNDER 8 | 7-0 | Win | 102 | 12 h 11 m | Show
LATE NIGHT PADRES VS ATHLETICS TOTAL The Oakland Athletics have scored just eight runs through their last three games. Here they'll face Padres righty Zach Davies (5-2, 2.61 ERA) who's having a solid year, particularly under the lights where he has compiled a 2.23 ERA in six starts. The A's counter with left-hander Jesus Luzardo (2-1, 3.74 ERA) who has been lights out home at Oakland Coliseum, sitting on a 1.90 ERA in five outings (three starts). 8* play on UNDER 8. |

09-04-20 | Rockies v. Dodgers -1.5 | Top | 6-10 | Win | 100 | 16 h 5 m | Show |
LATE NIGHT RUNLINE RIPPER MLB TOP PLAY The Los Angeles Dodgers have won 16 of their past 17 home games against the Rockies and Colorado right-hander Antonio Senzatela (3-1, 3.22 ERA) was lit up when the team lost 11-3 to LA here at Dodger Stadium last month. Senzatela is 2-3 with a hideous 7.04 ERA in eight career appearances (six starts) against the Dodgers who counter with right-hander Dustin May (1-1, 2.83 ERA) who held Colorado to one run on two hits in five innings on Aug 22. The Dodgers are 8-2 SU (7-3 against the runline) as home favorites of -200 or more when facing a right-handed starter. 10* play on Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5. |

09-02-20 | Rangers v. Astros -1.5 | Top | 1-2 | Loss | -111 | 16 h 49 m | Show |
LATE NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY I like the Houston Astros to win against the runline as a sizable home favorite over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. Texas left-hander Kolby Allard (0-3, 6.50 ERA) has lost each of this last three starts with a total of 12 runs allowed over just nine innings of work. He figures to be in for another tough one here as the Astros have a .282 batting average (7th) off southpaws on the season. Cristian Javier (3-1, 3.77 ERA) will take the ball for Houston. The team has won four of his six starts, and three of those four by at least two runs. He's been lights out home at Minute Maid Park, compiling a 2-0 record with a 1.96 ERA over four outings (three starts). Rangers are 3-12 in their last 15 overall and 1-8 in their last 9 games vs. a right-handed starter. Astros are 43-14 in their last 57 games vs. a left-handed starter and 51-17 in their last 68 games as a home favorite. 10* play on Houston Astros -1.5. |

09-02-20 | Tigers +150 v. Brewers | 5-8 | Loss | -100 | 12 h 36 m | Show
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE We won with the Detroit Tigers as a massive underdog last night, and I'm going back to the well backing the Tigers for a second straight night. Detroit righty Spencer Turnbull (3-2, 2.97 ERA) has held opponents to two or fewer runs in four of his six starts this season and has not allowed more than three. Last time out, he shut down the Cubs over 5 2/3 innings of a 7-1 Detroit win. Milwaukee right-hander Adrian Houser (1-3, 4.36 ERA) has been knocked around for eight runs on 18 hits over 11 innings in his last two starts combined. The Tigers are 8-10 (+21.4% ROI) as underdogs of +140 or more on the season. Play the numbers, play the Tigers. 8* play on Detroit Tigers. |

09-01-20 | Tigers +180 v. Brewers | 12-1 | Win | 180 | 8 h 29 m | Show
TUESDAY NIGHT MLB UNDERDOG UPSET The Detroit Tigers have won five straight and seven of their last nine games. Few experts (if anyone) expected much of them this season, but they have a shot at a wild-card slot and I like the price we get on the Tigers to upset Milwaukee Tuesday night. The Brewers hand the ball to right-hander Josh Lindblom (1-2, 6.31 ERA) who has lost each of his last two starts, surrendering five runs over eight innings in the process. The Tigers counter with Michael Fulmer (0-0, 8.79 ERA) who is on a three innings limit and likely to be followed by left-hander Daniel Norris (2-1, 2.40 ERA). Fulmer has not had a great start to the season, but the Tigers have still managed to win three of his five starts. 8* play on Detroit Tigers. |

09-01-20 | Tigers v. Brewers UNDER 9.5 | 12-1 | Loss | -114 | 7 h 4 m | Show
SUBSCRIBERS ONLY The Detroit Tigers have won five straight and seven of their last nine games. Additionally, I like the under as Under is 12-3 in Tigers last 15 road games with the total set at 9.0-10.5. 8* play on UNDER 9.5. |
