I like the Orlando Magic to win and cover the spread when they take on the Brooklyn Nets in their first game back from the hiatus.

The Nets will be short on bodies as Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant won’t be back for the rest of the season while DeAndre Jordan has been ruled out following a positive COVID-19 test.

Additionally, the Magic should also have a small edge playing in their hometown as they'll be more accustomed to the surroundings etc.  

Magic are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record. Nets are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.

THURSDAY NIGHT MLB BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

I like the LA Angels to win this one in dominant fashion. Seattle left-hander Marco Gonzales (0-1, 6.23 ERA) was knocked around for four runs (three earned) in 4 1/3 innings of work against Houston in his season debut. Mike Trout is 12-of-28 off Gonzales and the Angels are 6-1 in their last seven home games vs. a left-handed starter. 

Dylan Bundy (1-0, 1.35 ERA) takes the ball for the Halos, looking to build on a solid season debut when he held the A's to one run on three hits with seven Ks through 6 2/3 innings of a 4-1 win. Only five players on this Seattle roster has seen Bundy before, and he has held them to a combined .228 batting average over 34 at bats. 

Additionally, we have seen a total of 29 runs through the first two games and I think we'll see plenty of fireworks in this one as well.

The NBA players have been training inside the Disney World bubble for a while now, but I still don't think they'll be completely up to speed. 

We should see poor shooting to start off with as the players shake off the rust, and playing without fans in the stadium to hype up the teams. 

Additionally, can note that each of the first three head-to-head matchups of the season went under the total (215p, 214p, 217p). I expect this to be another relatively low-scoring affair. 

Under is 24-9 in Clippers last 33 games as a road underdog. Under is 15-5-1 in Lakers last 21 vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

THURSDAY NIGHT MLB UNDERDOG DELIGHT

Tampa Bay left-hander Yarbrough (0-0, 0.00 ERA) gave up only four hits and a walk through 5 1/3 scoreless innings of a 4-1 Rays win over Toronto in his season debut. 

I expect him to have another strong outing here while I don't think the Braves should be this big of a favorite with lefty Max Fried (0-0, 3.60 ERA) on the mound. 

Atlanta won yesterday's matchup which was Game 3 of this home-and-home series, but the Rays claimed the first two games (14-5 & 5-2), and with no fans in the stadium (less home field advantage) I see no reason to believe they can't get it done on the road as well.

The Boston Red Sox snapped a four-game losing streak with a 6-5 win over the New York Mets on Wednesday. I expect another high-scoring affair in Thursday's matchup. Red Sox left-hander Martín Pérez (0-1, 7.20 ERA) was tagged with five runs (four earned) and six hits in five innings of a 7-2 loss to Baltimore in his season debut. He'll be opposed by left-hander Steven Matz (0-0, 1.50 ERA) who was outstanding in his season debut, but the Red Sox should be able to get to a Mets' bullpen that has posted a 6.39 ERA.

LATE NIGHT MLB RUNLINE RIPPER TOP PLAY

The Los Angeles Angels put a 10-2 beating on the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. I expect another blowout win for the Halos here in Wednesday's matchup with Andrew Heaney (0-0, 1.93 ERA) on the mound. The left-hander has already made one start this year as he held the A's to one run on two hits and with six Ks in 4 2/3 innings on Opening Day. The Mariners hand the ball to Justin Dunn for his first career big league start.

The Mariners are 6-20 in their last 26 road games vs. a left-handed starter and I think they'll struggle to solve Heaney in this one.

MLB MONEYLINE MIDNIGHT MASSACRE

This looks like a potential flat spot for the San Francisco Giants as they are coming off back-to-back wins over the LA Dodgers.

They'll face a Padres team with Zach Davies (2019: 10-7, 3.55 ERA) on the mound, and he owns a 2.05 ERA in four career starts against San Francisco.

Jeff Samardzija (2019: 11-12, 3.52 ERA) will toe the slab for the Giants. He was 1-1 with a 3.33 ERA in four appearances against the Friars last year, and the last outing was an ugly one as he was tagged with six runs in 5 1/3 innings. 

Padres are 9-4 in their last 13 games as a favorite. Giants are 3-8 in their last 11 games as an underdog.

LATE NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE

The Oakland Athletics have won three of their first four games of the season. I like them to pick up a fourth win here in the opener of a three-game series with the Colorado Rockies. 

Colorado right-hander Antonio Senzatela has a rough 2019 during which he went 11-11 with a 6.71 ERA. The 25-year-old can hardly use pitching at Coors Field as an excuse for his bloated ERA either as he was 4-7 with a 7.29 ERA on the road. He'll be opposed by Oakland right-hander Daniel Mengden (2019: 5-2, 4.83 ERA) who posted a 4.41 ERA in seven outings home at the Coliseum, with 27 Ks over 32 innings of work. 

The A's were 40-21 (+7.7x) as a home favorite in 2019 while fading the Rockies as road dogs blindly would've gone 48-20 (+13.4x).

TUESDAY NIGHT UNDERDOG DELIGHT

Both teams enter this contest with 1-3 records, and I think we're getting great value on the Seattle Mariners as an underdog. 

The Angels hand the ball to left-hander Patrick Sandoval who had a rough rookie season in 2019 during which he went 0-4 with a 5.03 ERA in 10 appearances (nine starts). He was a late arrival to summer camp after testing positive for COVID-19 on June 22. 

As for the Mariners, they hand the ball to left-hander Justus Sheffield (2019: 0-1, 5.50 ERA) who, while certainly no Cy Young candidate, should be able to contain a Halos team that has scored only 11 runs through a four-game series at Oakland. Seattle has scored 15 runs in a four-game series against Houston, not too shabby considering the opponent.

TUESDAY NIGHT MLB BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

The Minnesota Twins have been swinging hot bats scoring a total of 27 runs scored through their first three games. 

Here they'll get to hit off Carlos Martinez who is returning to the rotation after a season in the bullpen. While Martinez is a solid pitcher, I don't see him slowing down this Twins team. 

As for the Cards, they've scored 15 runs in three games and here they'll get a look at Homer Bailey who made 31 starts last season, going 13-9 with a 4.57 ERA. They've had a good amount of success in previous matchups with Bailey who is 6-16 with a 5.80 ERA against St. Louis. 

St. Louis took a 5-1 loss to the Pirates on Sunday and over is 6-2 in its last 8 after scoring 2 runs or fewer in its previous game.

METS @ RED SOX MONDAY NIGHT TOTAL BANKROLL BUILDER

The New York Mets have scored only five runs through their first five games of the season, but I think they'll be involved in a high-scoring contest here when visiting Boston Monday night. 

The Red Sox have been swinging hot bats but have opened the season by splitting a four-game set with Baltimore. Boston scored a total of 24 runs through the series but gave up a fair amount of runs as well. Yesterday's starter Ryan Weber lasted only 3 2/3 innings, which could mean a depleted bullpen. 

As for tonight's pitching matchup, Mets' righty Michael Wacha (2019: 6-7, 4.76 ERA) is regressing and Boston left-hander Josh Osich will make his first career start. Osich is expected put in just a couple of innings, to be followed by right-hander Zack Godley who posted a 5.97 ERA in 2019.

MONDAY AFTERNOON MLB BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

I expect to see an extremely motivated Houston Astros team here after taking a 7-6 defeat to the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. The setback ended a 15-game winning streak in the series, which surely can't sit right with the back-to-back-to-back American League West champions. 

Tonight, the Astros hand the ball to Josh James (2019: 1-5, 4.70 ERA) who posted a 3.52 ERA in six appearances against Seattle last year. James was dominant as a reliever last year, and I'm sure he'll come in focused to make the most of his opportunity as a starter in 2020. 

As for the Mariners, they turn to right-hander Kendall Graveman (2018: 1-5, 7.60 ERA) who missed all of 2018 after undergoing Tommy John surgery. I'm counting on the Astros' bats to take full advantage of a rusty Graveman early before he even gets a chance to settle.

I think we're getting a great price on the Pittsburgh Pirates as a home underdog when they host the Milwaukee Brewers Monday night. The Bucs hand the ball to left-hander Steven Brault (2019: 4-6, 5.16 ERA). He must have fond memories of last season's starts against the Brew Crew, five in total with Pittsburgh winning them all. As for Milwaukee, it hands the ball to Adrian Houser (2019: 6-7, 3.72 ERA) who while serviceable as a reliever has shown he can't be trusted as a starter. We can also note that he has allowed nine earned runs in nine innings against the Pirates.

SUNDAY NIGHT BRAVES @ METS BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

The New York Mets and the Atlanta are heading into Sunday night's series finale tied at 1-1 following a 10th-inning Braves win on Saturday. I like the Mets to claim the rubber match. 

Mets right-hander Rick Porcello (2019: 14-12, 5.52 ERA) is 3-1 behind a 3.00 ERA in four career starts against Atlanta. He'll be opposed by left-hander Sean Newcomb (2019: 6-3, 3.16 ERA) who's 2019 ERA might look impressive at first glance, but he put in the majority of his work out of the bullpen. Starting is a whole different thing, and this looks like a good spot for the Mets bats to get going after a slow start.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON MLB RUNLINE RIPPER - EARLY START

The Houston Astros are a monstrous favorite over Seattle Mariners Sunday afternoon. It should come as no surprise though after winning 15 straight head-to-head matchups and the first two games of this series by a 15-4 run differential.

Today the Astros send out  Zack Greinke (2019: 18-5, 2.93 ERA) to the mound. Greinke is 7-1 with a 1.85 ERA in 14 outings (12 starts) versus the Mariners who counter with Yusei Kikuchi (2019: 6-11, 5.46 ERA). The 29-year-old left-hander will make just his second season in the majors. In four career starts against the Astros, Kikuchi is 0-2 with an ERA of 5.40 and I think this will be another tough outing for the Japan native.

RUNLINE RIPPER 3-PACK

This is a terrific spot to back the Boston Red Sox as they're coming off an embarrassing 7-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. Here they'll get to hit off Wade LeBlanc (2019: 6-7, 5.71 ERA) who was tagged with six runs (four earned) on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings in his first career start against Boston last year. The Red Sox counter with Ryan Weber (2019: 2-4, 5.09 ERA) who has put up decent performances in spring training and summer camp, but we're really betting on Boston's bats to do damage off LeBlanc here.

RUNLINE RIPPER 3-PACK

I love the Cincinnati Reds to bounce back from a 6-4 loss to Detroit on Saturday. Here they'll come up against Tigers righty Spencer Turnbull (2019: 3-17, 4.61 ERA) who was charged with more losses than any other pitcher last season. This will be his first career start against the Reds who counter with Trevor Bauer (2019: 11-13, 4.48 ERA). While no superstar, Detroit's bats are hardly world-beaters either and I expect the Reds sticks to give Bauer plenty of run support hitting off a struggling Turnbull.

PREMIER LEAGUE BANKROLL BUILDER - 11 AM KICK OFF

Crystal Palace has packed it in ever since they secured Premier League soccer for next season as well. They enter this contest on a seven-game losing streak, and they'll face a highly motivated Tottenham team that needs a win to have any shot of earning Europa League soccer. Spurs have won three on the bounce, including wins over Arsenal and Leicester, and I don't see them disappoint here.

LIVERPOOL @ NEWCASTLE PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER

Liverpool is expected to close out its title-winning season with an easy win over Newcastle. I do however not think that the home team has any plans of just rolling over for the visitors. While it is true that this game has no other meaning than pride for both teams, note that Newcastle has won its final league game in each of the past five seasons and it is unbeaten on the two occasions it has played the Premier League champions on the final day of the season. 

A Liverpool win would give the Reds a club record 99 points for the season, but of they do win, I think it'll be by no more than one goal.

FIGHT OF THE WEEK (UFC) - TILL VS WHITTAKER - FIGHT ISLAND 3 MAIN EVENT

I like Robert Whittaker as a favorite over Darren Till in this Middleweight fight on UFC Fight Island 3. 

Whittaker is 20-5 in his MMA career and 11-3 in the UFC. He took a loss to Middleweight title holder Israel Adesanya in his last fight but should do better here against Till who is  18-2-1 in his MMA career and 6-2-1 in the UFC. 

It's unlikely we'll see much fighting on the ground as Till averages 0.66 of takedowns and Whittaker 0.36.

Whittaker should have a decent advantage standing as he has more weapons and averages a solid 4.77 significant strikes per minute. While Till has a powerful left hand, note that he is landing just 2.41 significant strikes per minute. 

Till's chance of winning is hitting a big strike, but I expect Whittaker to grind him down with his accuracy.

GAME OF THE WEEK (MLB) - SATURDAY NIGHT MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY

The Cincinnati Reds put a 7-1 beating on Detroit in the season opener. I think they'll come through with another big win here in Game 2 of the series on Saturday. Cincinnati right-hander Luis Castillo finished last season with a 15-8 record behind a 3.40 ERA. This will be his first career start against the Tigers, a situation that usually favors the pitcher. As for Detroit, it is expected to be one of the worst teams in the league this season and right-hander Ivan Nova is 5-7 with a 4.24 ERA in 12 career starts versus the Reds.

Reds are 6-2 in their last 8 interleague games as a favorite. Tigers are 13-41 in their last 54 games as a road underdog.

MLB LATE AFTERNOON ANNIHILATOR

To say that Cleveland Indians' Mike Clevinger (2019: 13-4, 2.71 ERA) has dominated the Royals throughout his career would be an understatement. 

The right-hander is 9-0 with a 1.93 ERA in 13 career contests (12 starts) versus KC and here he'll come up against a Royals side that counters with a pitcher who'll make his MLB debut. 

KC's Brady Singer might be a talented 23-year-old, but he would have to really pull a rabbit out of a hat to outduel Clevinger. I don't see it happening, and I like Cleveland on the RL.

ANGELS @ ATHLETICS LATE AFTERNOON MLB MONEYMAKER

The Oakland Athletics defeated the Los Angeles Angels with a walk-off grand slam in extra innings last night. 

I think they'll make it a 2-0 start here as they'll get to hit off right-hander Dylan Bundy who was 7-14 with a 4.79 ERA in 2019. Bundy has posted a 5.04 ERA in five career appearances (four starts) against Oakland and he'll need to outpitch A's left-hander Sean Manaea. 

While Manaea missed most of last season after shoulder surgery, he was terrific in the few appearances he made and went 4-0 with a 1.21 ERA in five starts covering nearly 30 innings. 

Manaea got some decent stuff, and Bundy is not a pitcher to be trusted.

GAME OF THE WEEK (SOCCER) - SASSUOLO @ NAPOLI MAJOR WAGER

Sassuolo has been one of the hottest teams in Europe down the stretch. They were undefeated in eight straight games prior to a 2-1 setback to AC Milan last time out, and I like them to hang around here against a Napoli side that has won only eight of 17 home games on the season while Sassuolo has lost six of 18 away games.

SUPER EARLY MLB RUNLINE RIPPER - 01:35 PM FIRST PITCH

The Boston Red Sox have won 14 of the last 20 meetings with the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park following a 13-2 rout in the season opener. I predict another easy Boston win here in Game 2 of the series. 

Boston left-hander Martin Perez is certainly no superstar and he owns a 5.00 ERA in nine career starts vs. Baltimore, but I think he'll be hyped up for his Red Sox debut. Anyhow, he should be able to outperform Orioles right-hander Alex Cobb who will make his first start since having season-ending surgery since April 2019. 

What the Red Sox lack on the mound, they more than make for at the plate and I expect their bats to turn this into another one-sided affair.

TWINS @ WHITE SOX FRIDAY NIGHT BOOKIE BLA$TER

I like the reigning American League Central champions to start the season with a win. 

Minnesota right-hander Jose Berrios posted a 14-8 record with a 3.68 ERA last season, including 4-1 with a 2.88 ERA in five starts versus the White Sox.

Chicago counters with Lucas Giolito who was 2-2 with a 3.24 ERA versus Minnesota in 2019. It's worth noting that Giolito had no home advantage last season when he posted a 4.06 ERA at home compared to a road ERA of 2.83. 

The White Sox have boasted their line up, but they're still behind the Twins in that department IMO. Give me the better team with the better pitcher. 

Twins are 37-15 in their last 52 games as a road favorite and 15-6 in their last 21 Friday games.

MARLINS @ PHILLIES MLB BOOKIE BLA$TER

It's hard not to like the Philadelphia Phillies here in their season opener against the Miami Marlins. The visitors hand the ball to Sandy Alcantara who was 6-14 with a 3.88 ERA last season. That he's the best the Marlins have to go with says more about the Fish than about Alcantara who is far from an ace. I have way more trust in Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola (2019: 12-7, 3.87 ERA) and Philadelphia has the better bats by a mile. While they couldn't get things to click last season, they have enough talent to beat Miami.

EARLY BRAVES @ METS DAYTIME DESTROYER - 4 PM ET START

The New York Mets are a favorite with their ace on the mound here in their season opener, and I think they'll prove well worth the money. Mets righty Jacob deGrom was 11-8 with a 2.43 in 2019. He owns a 1.97 ERA in 21 career starts against the Braves who counter with Mike Soroka (2019: 13-4, 2.68 ERA). While Soroka is 4-0 with a 2.73 ERA in four career starts against the Mets, I don't see him outdueling the reigning National League Cy Young awards winner in this one. 

Braves are 0-4 in their last 4 games as a road underdog. Mets are 10-2 in their last 12 games as a home favorite.

JUVENTUS @ UDINESE THURSDAY AFTERNOON SERIE A TOTAL

Juventus has scored two goals or more in eight straight games, but they've also struggled on the defensive end lately. They defeated Lazio 2-1 last time out but had allowed nine goals through a three-game winless run prior to that. A win here would all but secure the Serie A title, but Udinese certainly won't roll over as they fight to stay out of the relegation zone. 

The last three head-to-head meetings have seen a total of 12 goals, and I expect this to be another high-scoring affair.

THURSDAY MORNING MLS - VANCOUVER @ CHICAGO BANKROLL BUILDER

Vancouver Whitecaps enter the last group stage game of the MLS IS Back Tournament winless and without a single point, leaving them virtually no hope of making the knockout stage. Chicago on the other hand has a win over Seattle under its belt and would move into second place in the group with a win. 

Vancouver has one of the worst defensive records in the tournament with seven goals conceded. I expect the more motivated Fire side to come throuh with a win over the Whitecaps.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON EPL BOOKIE BLA$TER

Following their setback to Chelsea in the FA Cup, this game now means the world to Manchester United. A win would see fifth-placed Man U overtake Leicester and Chelsea in the table to catapult into third place. With the top 4 earning Champions League soccer next season, that would be a great situation for them heading into the last game day. 

As for West Ham, a point here would see them pull four points clear of the relegation zone and secure their Premier League contract. We saw a similar game yesterday though where a hyper-motivated Watford team needed to pick up points against an unmotivated Man City side who still squashed them 4-0. 

With no lack of motivation for Man U, I think their superior players will get the job done in a blowout.

The sizzling hot AC Milan have scored two goals or more in eight straight games and they put a 5-1 beating Bologna last time out. Here they'll face a red hot Sassuolo side that is undefeated in eight games while scoring two goals or more in all but one of those games. Without question the best offenses in Serie A, and I honestly don't think the bookmakers have made this total big enough as they should combine for four goals just about every time.

This looks like a huge let down spot for Arsenal who are coming off a FA Cup semi-finals win over Man City on Saturday. With nothing left to play for in the league, I would not be surprised to see them rotate the squad in this one. As for Aston Villa, they'll come in hyper-motivated as a win (or at least a point) is of the essence to have a chance of avoiding relegation heading into the last round of games.

Toronto FC's first two games in the MLS Is Back tournament has seen a combined 11 goals, and I expect another high-scoring affair when they take on New England Revolution early Tuesday morning. 

While New England has seen only a total of three goals in its two games, note that they had 18 goal attempts in their 1-1 draw with DC United last time out.

All but one of the last five head-to-head meetings have seen at least three goals, and I think both teams will come out rather relaxed, looking to outscore the opponent rather than winning with better defense.

Both Philadelphia Union and Orlando City have opened the MLS Is Back tournament with a pair of wins over Inter Miami and New York City.

Orlando tops the group on goal differential, and I don't think Philly should be this big of a favorite in this one as the teams go head to see who will finish on top. 

With both teams having made it to the knockout stages they might decide to rest some key players, but I think that's more likely to apply for Philadelphia. Orlando is winless in the last five head-to-head meetings (3L, 2D), and I think those results will make them more motivated to finally beat Philly in this one. 

All in all, happy to get this price on Orlando +0.25 (half win in case of a draw).

LATE AFTERNOON EPL BANKROLL BUILDER - PALACE @ WOLVES

Crystal Palace opened the Premier League restart with a win but they've dropped six straight games since. Most of the games have not even been close either, as they've lost by two goals or more in four of the six contests. As their season is all but over already, it's quite understandable they've already packed it in though.

Wolves on the other hand are trying to chase down Tottenham for a Europa League spot and would overtake Spurs with a win here. With the last game day coming up, that would be huge. Wolves defeated Everton 3-0 their last time out home at Molineux Stadium and I expect them to win this one by at least two goals.

MONDAY AFTERNOON EPL TOTAL - 1 PM ET KICK OFF

Sheffield United has an outside shot at making Europa League.

A win here is a must to keep that dream alive though, and winning by a couple of goals to improve their goal difference certainly wouldn't hurt.

As a result, I expect them to throw the kitchen sink at Everton, but as the visitors have absolutely nothing to lose, they won't be afraid to hit the home team on the counter.

I expect an open affair with more goals than the bookmakers seem to give these two teams credit for.

LATE AFTERNOON SERIE A TOTAL - INTER @ ROMA - 3:45 PM ET KICK OFF

I think there are plenty of reasons to believe that Sunday's main event from Serie A will be a high-scoring encounter. 

Each of Inter's last three games has seen four goals scored with themselves finding the net nine times. As for Roma, they have scored a total of seven goals through a three-game winning streak. 

Both sides are still jostling for table positions with Inter looking to retain their No. 2 spot while Roma is fighting for 5th which would mean Europa League soccer next season, so both teams will go for the win.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON SERIE A BOOKIE BLA$TER - TORINO @ FIORENTINA

Fiorentina is undefeated through its last four games and defeated Lecce 3-1 last time out. While they shouldn't have to fear relegation sitting 10 points above the relegation zone, a win here would almost certainly put their minds at ease. The same can be said about Torino who hover eight points above the relegation zone, but their play away from home has been an issue all season with losses in 11 of 16 away games. While Fiorentina has been far from the strongest home team in the league, I still like the price on the home side to get the job done in this one.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON FA CUP MAJOR WAGER - CHELSEA @ MAN UTD

Manchester United has been one of the hottest teams in the world in 2020, recording six wins and two draws since EPL started back up again and they've kept clean sheets in 13 contests during a 19-game unbeaten run. Still, they'll have little to show for it in the league which is why I expect them to put a big emphasis on this FA Cup semi-finals game against Chelsea. 

The Blues have dropped two of their last five games and only barely beat the already relegated EPL basement boys from Norwich last time out.

All in all, Chelsea has been too inconsistent and lacks the current positive momentum of Man U.

FIGHT ISLAND 2 MAIN EVENT - BENAVIDEZ VS. FIGUEIREDO

Deiveson Figueiredo defeated Joseph Benavidez by TKO in a title fight back in February. I think he'll do it again here in the Main Event at UFC Fight Island 2. 

Figueiredo owns a 7-1 record in the UFC (18-1 MMA record), suffering his only loss at the hands of Jussier Formiga in 2019. As he's not a particularly strong striker he'll be looking to take this fight to the ground, but while Benavidez (15-4 UFC, 28-6 MMA record) is more a slugger with decent knockout power, he's still very much hit-or-miss. 

Figueiredo is slightly younger (32 vs 35) and has a physical advantage including three inches longer reach. I'm happy to back the favorite Figueiredo to defeat Benavidez for a second straight time.

GAME OF THE WEEK (SOCCER) - SAT SERIE A MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY

Sassuolo has been one of the hottest teams in Serie A in recent weeks. Last time out they played a 3-3 draw with league-leading Juventus and they had won four on the bounce prior to that. 

There should be no lack of motivation here as a continued hot streak could see them overtake AC Milan and Napoli for the last Europa League spot. 

Cagliari on the other hand is stuck in the middle of the table with little more than pride to play for at this stage of the season. The lack of motivation has been obvious lately as they're winless through their last five games (3D, 2L). 

I like Sassuolo to come through with a win here.

Norwich's fate has been sealed; with two games remaining of the season, the team already knows it will be relegated and play Championship soccer next season. They have lost every single game since the restart, and here they'll face a Burnley side that is undefeated since taking a 5-0 beating by Man City in their first game back. While Burnley can't really move the standings, they've played pretty well and I think they'll be looking forward to taking advantage of a lesser opponent.

Atalanta has been near unstoppable since the restart, winning seven of eight games, the exception a 2-2 draw with league-leaders Juventus. A win here would see them overtake Inter for second place and put them only four points behind Juve at the top of the league. 

As for Verona, they are stuck in no-mans-land in the middle of the table. I expect the more motivated visiting side to put up a big score here.

Inter has a lot of offensive talent as displayed in its 3-1 win over Torino last time out, a game in which it had a whopping 20 goal attempts.

MAN UTD @ CRYSTAL PALACE PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER

Each of Manchester United's last six games have seen three goals or more, with them scoring the majority of the goals. Here they'll take on a Crystal Palace team that has surrendered 13 goals and scored four through a five game slide. Man U are trying to chase down Leicester for the last Champions League spot, so I have no doubt that they'll bring the big guns. As for Crystal Palace, while they have nothing to gain from a win teams in England usually try and show up when facing Man U, and with nothing to lose I think they'll let loose and invite to an open and high-scoring affair.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON LA LIGA BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

I expect to see an all out offensive onslaught from Real Madrid who can secure the league title with a win here. They are currently on a nine-game winning streak with six clean sheets while Villareal has lost two of its last three to fall out of contention for a Champions League spot. 

Additionally, we can note that Real Madrid has been extremely dominant at home in La Liga play, going an undefeated 14-4-0 with a 38-10 goal differential.

Lazio is coming off three straight losses. They're tied with Inter for third place, and while fourth place also earn a spot in the Champions League next season I stlll expect them to want to finish as high in the standings as possible.

As for Udinese, they were undefeated in three games before taking a 3-1 loss to Sampdoria last time out. Recent results have seen them distancing themselves from the relegation zone by six points and I'm not sure if the desperation to perform is there at the moment.

Liverpool has already wrapped up the title but would need to win out to break the points record (or take seven points from the nine available to equal it. They had won back-to-back games prior to a 1-1 draw with Burnley last time out, a game they utterly dominated with a 71%/29% possession advantage. Also, I think Liverpool will make it a point to show up against another top team after taking a 4-0 loss to Manchester City just under two weeks ago. 

As for Arsenal, a 2-1 derby loss to Tottenham last time out saw the team fall to 9th place, five points out 6th place which earns a Europa League spot. With only three games to go, they might as well pack it in in league play already. We can also note that Arsenal has a FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City to come at the weekend which should be a higher priority.

Huge motivational advantage for Napoli who are fighting to hold on to 6th place which would earn them a Europa League qualification spot next season while Bologna is stuck in the middle of the table. There's also a revenge angle in play for Napoli after taking a 2-1 loss at Bologna earlier in the season and the team has been solid on the road all season. As for Bologna, they are winless with two losses and a draw in three home games since the restart.

MLS IS BACK BANKROLL BUILDER - NY CITY VS. ORLANDO CITY

I expect to see a rather dull and uneventful game when New York City takes on Orlando City in the MLS Is Back tournament Tuesday night. 

This will be the second game of the competition for both teams. New York took a 1-0 loss to Philadelphia in its tournament opener and each of its last five games have seen just one goal scored.

Orlando is coming off a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Inter Miami, but I think it'll struggle to break down this solid NY defense.

MLS IS BACK TUESDAY MORNING TOP PLAY - SEATTLE VS. CHICAGO

Both the Chicago Fire and Seattle Sounders opened the MLS Is Back tournament with low-scoring draws, but we should see more fireworks when the two teams clash for their second game of the competition.

While Chicago is coming off a 1-1 draw with New England, note that the teams had 15 goal attempts each, and Seattle's 0-0 draw with San Jose could also easily have ended very differently with a total of 28 goal attempts split between the two teams. I think the offenses will be a lot sharper in the second game following the long layoff. 

Additionally, note that four of the last five head-to-head matchups have seen four goals or more.

MONDAY AFTERNOON EPL PUNISHER - SOUTHAMPTON @ MAN U

Man U has steamrolled over just about all opponents it has faced since the EPL restart, winning four straight league games by at least three goals. They are now only one point behind Leicester for a Champions League spot, and I like Man U to keep up the pace and destroy a Southampton team that has nothing to play for over its last four games.

MAJOR WAGER ALERT - LA LIGA BOOKIE BREAKER - 1:30 PM ET

This contest features two teams with still a lot to play for as Villreal is fighting to hold on to a Europa League spot while Real Sociedad is one of the teams trying to steal one.

I do like Villareal to come through with a win though. They have won three of their last four with the lone loss coming against Barcelona.

Real Sociedad on the other hand has lost five of eight games, including a demoralizing 3-2 setback to Granada last time out. 

Real Sociedad averages just over one goal scored per game on the road while Villareal scores close to two goals per game at home.

TOP PLAY ALERT - MINNESOTA @ KANSAS CITY MLS MAJOR WAGER

This is the opening game of the MLS is Back tournament at Disney World in Orlando, Florida for both sides. 

Both teams opened the season strong before play was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic with Kansas City outscoring Vancouver and Houston by a combined 7-1 over two victories while Minnesota United took care of business against Portland and San Jose by a combined goal differential of 8-3. I like Kansas City to be the team to continue its winning ways. 

Minnesota will have to do without 2019 MLS Defender of the Year Ike Opara who did not make the trip to Florida as he continues to rehab a preexisting injury. That leaves the Loons a tad thin at center back, and we can also note that defensive midfielder Ozzie Alonso is questionable with a tight hamstring. 

Sporting KC's offense led by two quality strikers in Alan Pulido and Gadi Kinda has the firepower to hurt just about any team in the league.

SUNDAY MORNING SERIE A NO BRAINER

Both teams are facing the threat of relegation, but only Genoa has a realistic shot IMO. 

Spal sits dead last (20th) in the standings with eight points up to 18th-placed Genoa who in turn is one point behind Lecce, the closest team outside the relegation zone. 

With only seven games to go, the Spal players must realize they have an almost impossible mountain to climb and the team has not looked particularly motivated lately, coming off back-to-back 3-0 losses. 

Genoa on the other hand put up a decent fight in a 2-1 loss to Napoli last time out, and they have picked up four of their six wins on the season here at home while Spal has lost 12 of 16 away games.

EARLY SUNDAY MORNING PREMIER LEAGUE MONEYMAKER - 09:15 AM KICK OFF

Crystal Palace is safe from relegation and has nothing to play for at this stage of the season. That fact has reflected itself in recent performances resulting in 11 goals conceded through four consecutive losses. Here Palace comes up against an Aston Villa team that desperately needs a win to have any chance of climbing out of the relegation zone.

Aston Villa has only seven wins of the season, but five of those came at home and I expect the home team to come through in this one.

FIGHT OF THE MONTH - UFC 251 MAIN EVENT - TOTAL ROUNDS

I think we'll see an evenly contested fight, likely to go the distance, when Kamaru Usman clashes with Jorge Masvidal in the UFC 251 Fight Island main event on Saturday. 

Usman is a perfect 11-0 in the UFC and the reigning Welterweight division champion. He is a well-rounded fighter who is riding a 15-fight win streak and won his last fight by TKO in the 5th round when he defended his title against Colby Covington back in December of 2019.

As for Jorge Masividal, he owns an MMA record of 35-13, 12-6 in the UFC. He has won three straight fights and defeated Nate Diaz by TKO in November of 2019 in his last fight. 

While Masvidal is coming in on short notice as a replacement for Gilbert Burns who tested positive for COVID-19, keep in mind that Usman will also need to adjust his gameplan. 

Additionally, this is a fight Masvidal has been looking forward to for a long time and he has reportedly never stopped preparing for a potential scrap opposite Usman.

"It’s short notice, because he didn’t have the contract signed, but let me tell you what: This guy was there my whole training camp," Dustin Poirier said on "THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas." "He was my main sparring partner. We probably put in five weeks of sparring together. He flew in wrestlers, the best wrestlers in the world."

I think the bookmakers have juiced up the moneyline on Usman too much because of the short notice change, but he is undoubtedly the better fighter. That being said, while Usman is likely to dictate the fight, he will most likely find it tough to break through Masvidal's excellent defense, and I like the over in this bout.

UFC FIGHT ISLAND BOOKIE BLA$TER

I like Leonardo Santos to defeat Roman Bogatov in this UFC Lightweight division fight in UFC 251 on Saturday. 

Santos last fought a year ago when he knocked out Stevie Ray in the first round at UFC Stockholm to make it 17-3-1 in his MMA career with a 6-0-1 mark in the UFC. He has not lost a fight since 2009, and here he'll face a 29-year-old Bogatov who will make his UFC debut here after a successful spell on the M-1 Global circuit. 

While Bogatov is an undefeated 10-0 in M-1, I'm not sure he's ready for what's to come here against a 40-year-old veteran who knows the drill. 

Bogatov is a submission specialist who will try and get Santos on his back, but he might struggle to keep his Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist opponent down. Santos has a clear edge on the feet, and I'm happy to take the more well-rounded veteran at this price.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON LA LIGA BANKROLL BUILDER

Betis defeated Osasuna last time out to move into 13th place, nine points clear of the relegation zone. With only three games to go, that's more or less mission completed as it is more or less impossible for them to get relegated at this point and I would not be surprised to see them come out flat in this game.

Atletico Madrid on the other hand still has a lot to play for as they are tied for points with Sevilla for third place. They are unbeaten in 13 straight La Liga games and 11-5-1 with a 26-10 goal differential at home on the season.

GAME OF THE MONTH (SOCCER) - PREMIER LEAGUE MAJOR WAGER TOP PLAY

Newcastle took a 5-0 beating by Manchester City last time out, and as they sit 15 points clear of the relegation zone the motivation for a bounce back game here against Watford might not be there. As for Watford, they are fighting tooth and nail for the right to play Premier League soccer next season as well. They enter the weekend only three points out of the relegation zone, and with some momentum after defeating Norwich 2-1 last time out. 

Newcastle has lost 10 of its 17 away games on the season while posting a dreadful 17-35 goal differential. I'm well happy to take the motivated home team at this price.

SUPER EARLY PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER - 7:30 AM KICK OFF

Norwich is all but doomed for relegation already with 10 points up to 17th place and only four games to go. They have dropped all five games since the restart and I don't see them showing up for this one either. As for West Ham, they stood up well in a 1-0 loss to Burnley last time out and they're in desperate need of points just three points clear of the relegation zone.

West Ham won the reverse fixture 2-0 at home, and I think they'll complete the season sweep here on the road.

FRIDAY NIGHT MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER BANKROLL BUILDER

I like the reigning MLS Cup champions Seattle Sounders to open their entry in the "MLS is Back Tournament" with a win. They're undefeated in the last nine head-to-head league matchups with the San Jose Earthquakes and won the last meeting 1-0.

The teams played two games each back in March before the season got suspended. Seattle opened the campaign with a 2-1 win over Chicago and followed up with a 1-1 draw with Columbus. San Jose meanwhile is still without a win in 2020 after first playing a 2-2 draw with Toronto before taking a 5-2 beating by Minnesota.

Seattle is simply the better team and should win this one relatively comfortably.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON LA LIGA BOOKIE BLA$TER

Real Sociedad opened the restart with five winless games (D1, L4), but they have seemingly turned a corner to remain in the chase for a Europa League spot.

Granada sit four points back of Sociedad, and as there are also two additional teams between them they would need a lot of luck to qualify for European soccer for next season. They have a small squad compared to the other teams in the top half of the table and must be close to running out of gas considering the tight schedule. 

Real Sociedad has won nine of 17 La Liga home games while Granada has lost eight of 17 road games.

THURSDAY PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER - MAN U @ ASTON VILLA

Manchester United is undefeated through its last nine league games (W6, D3) and it has dominated its last two games, beating Brighton 3-0 and Bournemouth 5-2. They're currently holding down a Europa League spot, and a win here would put them just one point behind Leicester for a fourth place and Champions League soccer next season.

As for Aston Villla, while the team should have plenty of motivation as it seeks to climb out of the relegation zone, recent outings have not shown it. Aston Villa is winless since the EPL restart and I expect Man U to run away with this game.

PORTUGUESE PRIMERA LIGA BOOKIE BLA$TER 

FC Porto sits six points clear of Benfica at the top of the table. They have won 23 of 30 league games and own a tremendous 62-18 goal differential. Here they'll face a Tondela team that sits at 15th place with 14 losses in 30 games. Their form is poor with three losses and a draw in their last four games while Porto is coming off a 5-0 rout of Belenenses. I don't see this game ending any other way than a blowout win for Porto.

SERIE A NO BRAINER

SPAL sits dead last in the standings and would need to make up eight points and leap past three teams to play Serie A soccer next season. Last time out they took a 3-0 loss to Sampdoria and with three losses and a draw in their last four games, it sure looks like the players have given up on the season already. As for visiting Udinese, the team has a good chance of playing Serie A soccer next season, sitting five points clear of the relegation zone. They still need a couple of more wins to be safe though, and this should be three easy points.

MAJOR WAGER - THURSDAY PREMIER LEAGUE BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

Tottenham is coming off a 1-0 triumph over Everton, and another win here with see the team overtake three teams for the last Europa League spot. 

Here Spurs will pay a visit to a Bournemouth side that is has beaten by at least three goals in two of its last four visits. I expect to see another comfortable Tottenham win in this one. 

Bournemouth is in shambles as five straight Premier League defeats have seen the side plummet into the relegation zone. Last time out Bournemouth took a 5-2 beating by Man U, and the game before that it fell 4-1 to Newcastle. 

I think we are getting a great price on a motivated, in-form superior team.

MAJOR WAGER - SERIE A BOOKIE BREAKER TOP PLAY

This looks like a potential let down spot for Sampdoria who are coming off back-to-back wins to move into 14th place with five points down to the relegation zone. 

Here they'll face an Atalanta side that is arguably the hottest team in Europe, coming off 11 straight wins all competitions combined and it has scored almost at will in those games. 

Visiting Sampdoria has allowed 51 goals in 30 Serie A games on the season and I expect the home team to win this one comfortably.

SERIE A 3-PACK

Sassuolo has seen three goals or more in 24 of its 30 Serie A games on the season. Their five games since the restart have seen a total of 27 goals (5.4 goals per game average) and I expect to see goals come easy for both sides here against a Bologna side that also has been involved in relatively high-scoring affairs lately. The reverse fixture ended with a 3-1 Sassuolo win, and each of the last four head-to-head meetings has seen at least three goals.

SERIE A NO BRAINER

Napoli has won three of four Serie A games since the restart, including a 2-1 victory over Roma last time out and is now tied on points for the last Europa League spot. They have also claimed the domestic cup, Coppa Italia, and I like them to roll over a Genoa team which is looking to avoid relegation, but is winless with two losses and draws since the restart. Genoa's defense has been in shambles with 11 goals allowed in four games, conceding at least two in each contest.

JUVENTUS @ MILAN TOP PLAY

Juventus have four straight Serie A games since the restart, outscoring opponents 13-2 in the process. However, on the contrary on what the scoreline says, They did not look all that great in their 4-1 win over Torino last time out. 

Here Juve will face an AC Milan team that is battling for the Europa League spots, and like Juventus it is also undefeated since the restart. On the season, Milan have lost only four of 14 Serie A home games. 

Juve sit seven points clear at the top of the table, and I think the home team will be the more motivated side in this one.

LEICESTER @ ARSENAL TOTAL

Arsenal has found its rhythm lately, outscoring opponents 10-1 through a four-game winning streak. The Gunners' chances of climbing the standings to a position that would earn them a ticket to one of the European competitions for next season are slim though, and without much pressure I think they'll 'invite to an open and high-scoring affair here as they host Leicester City. 

The visitors have a lot to play for as they seek to retain their third-place, and last time out they put a 3-0 beating on Crystal Palace. I don't think they'll settle for a draw so neither team should be shy to go on the attack. 

Leicester is 20-13 to the over on the season while Arsenal is 18-15 to the over.

REAL VALLADOLID @ VALENCIA LA LIGA BOOKIE BLA$TER

Valencia has won just one of seven games since the La Liga restart. Their chance of earning a spot in the European competitions is slipping away, and here they'll face a hot Real Valladolid side that has just lost just one of seven games since the restart. 

Valencia has struggled for goals, and Valladolid has not allowed more than one goal in any of their last seven games. I'm well happy to take Real Valladolid plus the draw at this price.

Crystal Palace have been outscored 8-0 during a three-game slide. They sit at 14th-place in the table, 15 points above the relegation zone, so they are excused for packing it in at this point.

As for Chelsea, they're currently holding the last coveted Champions League spot, but with Man U just two points behind there's no room for complacency.

Last time out, Chelsea put a 3-0 beating on a Watford side who were motivated by the threat of relegation. Chelsea should beat an unmotivated Palace side by a similar final score.

Sevilla are undefeated since the La Liga restart and last time out they came through with a dominant 3-0 rout of Leganes. With five points (and a game in hand) up to third-place Atletico Madrid, there is no time for complacency though and I expect another easy win for Sevilla here against an Eibar side that sits six points above the relegation zone. Eibar had gone undefeated through four games before coming up short in a 2-0 loss to Osasuna last time out. I think they're about to run out of gas and Sevilla have a quality squad capable of taking advantage of every minor defensive error.

EVERTON VS TOTTENHAM - MONDAY AFTERNOON PREMIER LEAGUE PUNISHER

This contest features two teams with little to play for as we find them separated by only one point in the very middle of the table.

Everton have not packed it in just yet though coming off back-to-back triumphs and we can note that Tottenham have won just one of their previous six Premier League games (against West Ham).

Everton are tough to beat and I expect them to keep this a close game.

TURKEY SUPER LIG MONDAY AFTERNOON NO BRAINER

Kayserispor have won two of three since the restart, including a 2-0 upset win at third-place Sivasspor last time out. Still, there is a reason why they are second to last in the Turkey Super Lig standings, and I think there is a good chance they'll come out flat in this one. 

Fifth-placed Besiktas are chasing a Europa League spot and would overtake Istanbul rivals Galatasaray with a win. They have outscored opponents 8-1 through their last two games and are simply the much better team.

BARCELONA @ VILLAREAL LATE AFTERNOON NO BRAINER - 4 PM KICK OFF

Villareal have been one of the hottest teams in the league since the restart, but if we look closely they have not really any strong teams. Here they'll come up against one of the best teams in the world, and a motivated one at theat with Barca trying to hunt down Real Madrid for the league title. It's not often you get Barcelona to win a league game outright at this kind of price.

ROMA @ NAPOLI - LATE AFTERNOON SERIE A BOOKIE BLA$TER - 03:45 PM KO

I like Napoli to come through with a win when they host Roma in this Serie A primetime game on Sunday (9:45 PM kick off local time). 

Both teams have plenty to play for as they sit in fifth and sixth place respectively in the table, with only three points separating the teams. 

Roma are however in a bit of a funk following back-to-back shut out losses, and here they'll have to do without creative winger Diego Perotti who was sent off last time out, a tough break for a team already struggling to create chances. 

Napoli had recorded back-to-back Serie A wins since the restart before coming up short at Atalanta in their last game. Still, you must like the price we get on the home team in this one.

MAN CITY @ SOUTHAMPTON SUNDAY AFTERNOON BANKROLL BUILDER

Manchester City are coming off an impressive 5-0 rout of already crowned Premier League champions Liverpool. They have scored a total of 15 goals in five games since the restart and I expect to see plenty of goals when they visit Southampton on Sunday. 

The Saints are coming off an impressive win of their own after defeating Watford 3-1 on the road last time out. They are capable of putting up goals, but with 55 goals allowed 32 EPL games defense is clearly an issue. 

Neither team have to worry about their position in the table which should open up for a relaxed and high-scoring affair.
