04-05-14 | Los Angeles Kings -120 v. Vancouver Canucks | 1-2 | Loss | -120 | 7 h 14 m | Show
Los Angeles Kings ML
The Vancouver Canucks host the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night. We believe the oddsmakers have significantly undervalued the Kings in this matchup. Vancouver is reeling once again, having lost three straight games. Those losses came against the Avalanche, Ducks, and Rangers--none of whom are cupcakes--but the Kings fall into that same category of upper-echelon teams. Los Angeles has won 7 of their last 9 games and seem to be rounding into form heading into the playoffs. The Kings lost last time out at San Jose, but they held a 27-21 shot advantage in that contest and were unfortunate not to capture the victory. Los Angeles is one of the best puck possession teams in the league and that will pose a serious problem for the Canucks, who will struggle to win battles against the Kings' deep group of forwards. Drew Doughty may miss this game for Los Angeles after sustaining an upper body injury against the Sharks. Doughty is a huge impact player for the Kings, but we like playing on teams in their first game without a star. We'll get Los Angeles' best effort in this one as they know they'll have to make up for Doughty's absence. The Kings are 8-1 in their last 9 road games and are 5-2 in their last 7 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Canucks are just 16-37 in their last 53 vs. a team with a winning record. Take Los Angeles. 9* Play on Los Angeles Kings ML |

04-05-14 | Detroit Red Wings +133 v. Montreal Canadiens | 3-5 | Loss | -100 | 4 h 2 m | Show
Detroit Red Wings ML
The Montreal Canadiens play host to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday evening. Results can often be misleading in the NHL. The Canadiens have 6 of their last 7 games but they've been doing it with smoke and mirrors. Montreal has only outshot one opponent in their last seven contests, and that luck is bound to catch up to them sooner or later. In fact, in Montreal's last three games, they've been outshot 113-68; an average of 15 shots per game! Now the Habs have to battle a Red Wings team that is starting to get healthier and trying to maintain their hold on a Wildcard spot in the Eastern Conference. Pavel Datsyuk returned to the Wings' lineup in a 3-2 victory over Buffalo on Friday night, and should provide a huge boost going forward to a Wings team that's won four straight games. At the end of the day, this game is a lot closer than the oddsmakers have indicated. Montreal isn't a dominant home team, having won just 21 of their 38 home games this season. Add in the fact that they haven't been playing particularly well as of late and Detroit is a very intriguing underdog. The Red Wings are 7-1 in their last 8 Saturday games and back-to-back games shouldn't be much of a factor as the Red Wings are 4-1 in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest. The Canadiens are 3-7 in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Take Detroit. 8* Play on Detroit Red Wings ML |

04-05-14 | New Jersey Devils v. Carolina Hurricanes -130 | 3-1 | Loss | -130 | 4 h 52 m | Show
Carolina Hurricanes ML
The Carolina Hurricanes host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday evening. The Devils still have an outside chance to make the postseason in the Eastern Conference, but their desire to get into the playoffs can't overcome their deficiencies as a team. New Jersey has been dreadful away from home all season long. The Devils have won just 13 of their 39 games on the road and to make matters worse, a number of their top forwards--Patrick Elias, Adam Henrique, and Ryan Clowe--are questionable to play on Saturday night. Carolina has no hope of making the postseason but they've played much better now that the pressure is off. The Hurricanes have won back-to-back games as underdogs, defeating the Stars and Penguins by scores of 4-1. Carolina's puck possession numbers indicate that they can hang with the Devils, especially with all of the question marks surrounding the Devils' forward corps. Rest will also be a big concern for the Devils, having played last night. The Devils are just 2-7 in their last 9 games playing on 0 days rest. And just to put into perspective how porous New Jersey has been on the road, the Devils are 15-40 in their last 55 road games. Take Carolina. 6* Play on Carolina Hurricanes ML |

04-03-14 | NY Rangers -104 v. Colorado Avalanche | 2-3 | Loss | -104 | 11 h 42 m | Show
New York Rangers ML
The Colorado Avalanche host the New York Rangers on Thursday night. Colorado has enjoyed an unbelievable season under Patrick Roy but they'll be hard pressed to continue that success without superstar Matt Duchene (knee). In the Avs' first game without Duchene, they rallied to beat the Jackets 3-2 in overtime, but it's important not to read too much into that result. The Avalanche were rewarded with a powerplay in overtime to capture victory on Tuesday night. Additionally, we often see teams step up their effort in their first game without their star player. That'll be the case for the Rangers tonight, as they're expected to be without Ryan McDonagh for just the second time in three years. Everyone in the Rangers' dressing room knows that they'll have to elevate their play to make up for the absence of their top D-man. The Rangers have won eight of their past 10 games, with the only losses coming to Calgary and San Jose. In both of those games they outshot their opponents 41-28 and 41-29 respectively. This is a very good New York team that plays a strong puck possession game; the type of game that will give Colorado fits. The Rangers are 23-8 in their last 31 road games. Take New York. 04-01-14 | Montreal Canadiens v. Tampa Bay Lightning -130 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 9 h 59 m | Show
Tampa Bay Lightning ML
The Tampa Bay Lightning host the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night. Tampa Bay is coming off a 3-2 loss to Detroit, while Montreal beat Florida its last time out, 4-1. We are getting a very fair price on a good Tampa Bay team in this one. The Lightning come in having lost three of their last five games, but two of those losses came after regulation, including losses on the road at a solid Pittsburgh team, and at a desperate Detroit team. Prior to that stretch, the team had won five games in a row. The Lightning have already taken two of three from the Canadiens in the season series, and will look to pick up a third win against the Habs on their home ice, where they are 21-8-6 on the season. Montreal has won five in a row, but their schedule has softened up of late, with wins against a floundering Toronto team, and bottom-dwelling Buffalo and Florida. The Lightning are 4-1 in their last five home games. Take Tampa Bay. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Tampa Bay Lightning ML |

The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. Toronto is coming off a 4-2 loss to Philadelphia, while Detroit fell to Montreal in their last outing, 5-4. 03-28-14 | Anaheim Ducks -161 v. Edmonton Oilers | 3-4 | Loss | -161 | 11 h 3 m | Show
Anaheim ML
The Edmonton Oilers host the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night. Edmonton is coming off a 5-2 loss to San Jose, while Anaheim beat Calgary their last time out, 3-2. This game combines two of our favorite things: backing the Ducks, and fading the Oilers. The price may be a tad steep, but this game has an Anaheim win written all over it. Edmonton has struggled mightily of late, despite playing at home, losing each of their last three games, surrendering a whopping 16 goals in those games. As for Anaheim, they've won their last two games, scoring nine times, and that hot offense is going to cause a whole lot of trouble for an Oilers team struggling to keep the puck out of their own net. Going even farther back, the Ducks have scored 3.5 goals per game over their last six contests. They've been hot on the road as well, as the team is 14-4 in its last 18 road games. The Ducks are 9-1 in the last 10 meetings between these teams, and 13-3 in the last 16 meetings. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Anaheim Ducks ML |

03-23-14 | Columbus Blue Jackets -129 v. NY Islanders | 0-2 | Loss | -129 | 10 h 55 m | Show
Columbus ML
The New York Islanders host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday afternoon. Normally when one team has everything to play for and the other team is eliminated from the postseason race, we see an extremely inflated line. That's not the case here. The Jackets have a big edge in this game. For starters, their roster isn't completely depleted, as the Islanders are without John Tavares, Michael Grabner, Lubomir Visnovsky, and possibly Kyle Okposo for Sunday's action. New York is essentially dressing an AHL lineup for an NHL game. The Islanders will also have to try to get pucks past one of the hottest goaltenders in the league, Sergei Bobrovsky. The Vezina winner from last season has a 1.76 GAA and .942 save percentage in his last seven games, which spells trouble for a team that's missing their top forwards. At the end of the day, this game is a big mismatch but the oddsmakers haven't priced it that way. The Blue Jackets are 5-1 in their last 6 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Islanders are 20-41 in their last 61 home games. Take Columbus. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Columbus Blue Jackets ML |

03-22-14 | Detroit Red Wings v. Minnesota Wild -135 | 3-2 | Loss | -135 | 13 h 36 m | Show
Minnesota ML
The Minnesota Wild host the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday afternoon. Minnesota is coming off a 4-3 overtime loss in New Jersey, while Detroit beat Pittsburgh in overtime its last time out, 5-4. The Red Wings have been faring quite well despite the litany of injuries the team has been dealing with. It's just a matter of time before that finally catches up with them, and there is a strong chance that happens on Saturday. The early start is always tough for away teams, and the Wings will also have to look ahead to the back end of this home-and-home on Sunday. As for Minnesota, Zach Parise has been red hot of late after struggling at times this season. He has eight goals and 10 assists in his last 16 games. The Wild have struggled of late, but now return home where they've won seven of their last 10 games. The Red Wings are 2-8 in their last 10 games against Central Division opponents, and 0-4 in their last four road games. Take Minnesota. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Minnesota Wild ML |

03-19-14 | St. Louis Blues +104 v. Chicago Blackhawks | 0-4 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 29 m | Show
St. Louis ML
The Chicago Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night. There hasn't been a hotter team than the Blues in the past month. St. Louis is 8-0-1 in March and have allowed two goals or less in eight of those nine games (they only allowed three goals in the other). St. Louis has taken over control of the Western Conference and they'll look to increase that lead against a team that they'd had a lot of recent success against. St. Louis has won four straight games against Chicago, including three games this season. Those victories came when the Blackhawks were hot to begin the year, but they've cooled off since then. Chicago has only won four of their last 10 games and have lost three of four heading into Wednesday's action. Dating back even further, the Blackhawks of won just 7 of their last 18 games. Chicago's recent failures can be largely attributed to their lack of a power play. The Blackahawks have just 3 goals in their last 33 games with the man advantage. That doesn't bode well against a Blues squad that's allowed just 2 power play goals in their last 26 times shorthanded. The Blues are 5-0 in their last 5 road games and 9-4 in their last 13 games against a team with a winning record. Take St. Louis. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on St. Louis Blues ML |

03-16-14 | Colorado Avalanche -110 v. Ottawa Senators | 3-1 | Win | 100 | 18 h 41 m | Show
Colorado ML
The Ottawa Senators host the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. Ottawa is coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to Montreal, while Colorado dropped its last game to Anaheim, 6-4. The Senators surely don't want to be taking to the ice in a competitive manner on Sunday after getting absolutely hosed on Saturday night in Montreal. The team had a late lead over the Canadiens before a questionable goal at the end of regulation tied the game and left the Senators fuming. Then in overtime, after it appeared their goaltender had the puck covered for a good long while, play was allowed to continue after officials did not stop the play, and Montreal scored the game-winner. Needless to say the Senators, and in particular star forward Bobby Ryan, were outraged and spent several minutes screaming at officials after the conclusion of the game. Then the team had to fly back to Ottawa overnight after a late exit for a Sunday game. They draw an Avalanche team that has six wins in its last eight games, and has won six in a row in this series. The Senators are 2-9 in their last 11 games when playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Take Colorado. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play |

03-12-14 | Vancouver Canucks v. Winnipeg Jets -135 | 3-2 | Loss | -135 | 9 h 47 m | Show
Winnipeg ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night. Winnipeg is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to Colorado, while Vancouver dropped its last game to the Islanders, 7-4. The Canucks are surely re-thinking their decision to move franchise goaltender Roberto Luongo at the trade deadline this year, as the team has surrendered 14 goals in its last three games. Luongo's departure has an impact on the team beyond their play on the ice, as he was once named the team's captain, the team could surely use some leadership right about now, as they flounder around with a 2-8 record in their last 10 games. As for the Jets, they had won their first two games since coming back from the Olympic break, but have since lost four in a row. We theorized that the break would serve the team well as they never did get a training camp with new head coach Paul Maurice, and while that did help us cash a ticket earlier, their four consecutive losses need to be turned around, and they know it. Getting a Canucks team that is 3-14 in its last 17 road games is a great chance to do so. The home team is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these teams. Take Winnipeg. 03-11-14 | New Jersey Devils v. Philadelphia Flyers -138 | 2-1 | Loss | -138 | 8 h 7 m | Show
Philadelphia ML
The Philadelphia Flyers host the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday evening. The Flyers fell 4-3 in OT to the Maple Leafs on Saturday night, but they've been one of the league's hottest teams as of late. Philadelphia is 7-1-1 in their last nine games, with impressive wins over the Kings, Sharks, Avalanche, and Rangers. We expect them to get back to their winning ways tonight. Philadelphia boasts one of the league's strongest home ice advantages right now. The Flyers are 16-5 in their last 21 home games, and battle a Devils team that has been downright awful away from home, winning just 15 of their last 52 road games over the past couple of seasons. The Flyers also catch a break with the Devils choosing to start Martin Brodeur in net over Cory Schneider. Brodeur has enjoyed one heck of a career, but his .898 save percentage this season leaves much to be desired. He's an aging goaltender and his old-school style between the pipes leads to a lot of bad goals. The Devils are just 7-22 in their last 29 road games against a team with a winning home record. The Edmonton Oilers host the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. Edmonton is coming off a 3-2 overtime win against Edmonton, while Los Angeles beat Winnipeg its last time out, 3-1. The Oilers bring a two-game winning streak into this game, but don't let that fool you into thinking they're something they're not. The Oilers beat a reeling Senators team 3-2, then needed overtime to get past a floundering Islanders squad. Now they get a Kings team which is the real deal, and a legitimate Cup contender. The Kings have won six games in a row, including each of their five contests since the Olympic break. The Kings have done so on the back of strong goaltending and defense, allowing just three goals in their last four games. They've also dominated this series, winning each of the last four meetings, including both meetings this season. Goaltender Jonathan Quick has been red hot for them, allowing just four goals over his last five starts, posting a save percentage of .965 in those contests. 03-07-14 | New Jersey Devils +105 v. Detroit Red Wings | 4-7 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
New Jersey ML
The Detroit Red Wings host the New Jersey Devils on Friday night. We cashed in fading the Red Wings last night and we're going back to the well tonight. Detroit is 5-2-2 in their last nine games and that allows us to grab a great price with the Devils. Detroit simply can't continue playing at a high level with all of the injuries that have been mounting for the team. The Wings are without Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg, Stephen Weiss, and Danny Cleary; four of their top six forwards. They lost 4-3 in New Jersey on Tuesday night but that game wasn't as close as the final score indicates. The Red Wings scored a pair of goals on the powerplay; both of which were questionable calls. This is also a terrible spot for Detroit, having to play their third game in four nights. New Jersey, meanwhile, is well rested, and adds Tuomo Ruutu to their lineup, whom they acquired at the trade deadline. Last but not least, the Devils have a significant goaltending edge in this one as Cory Schneider draws the start. Schneider has a 1.92 GAA and .923 save percentage on the season. Detroit will go with Jonas Gustavsson, their backup goaltender, after Jimmy Howard played last night. The Red Wings are 1-4 in their last 5 games in the third game of a 3-in-4 situation. The Carolina Hurricanes host the New York Rangers on Friday night. Carolina is coming off a 3-2 overtime win over San Jose, while New York fell to Toronto their last time out, 3-2 in overtime. Don't let the most recent results of these teams fool you. New York has dropped three in a row, but those losses came at a red-hot Philadelphia team, against second-seeded Boston, and against a Toronto team in overtime. Prior to that, New York had won six of their last seven games. As for Carolina, they may have won their last game, but they lost five in a row prior to that contest. The Rangers have also dominated this series, winning each of their last five trips to Carolina, and winning 10 of the last 11 games in the series, including a 5-1 win in the only meeting between the teams this season. Newcomer Martin St. Louis will look to add to that this time around. He's familiar with Carolina from his days with Tampa Bay. The Rangers are 16-5 in their last 21 road games. Take New York. 03-06-14 | Vancouver Canucks v. Dallas Stars -139 | 1-6 | Win | 100 | 7 h 48 m | Show
Dallas ML
The Dallas Stars play host to the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night. We've had success fading the Canucks in the past month and we'll go right back to the well for this one. Vancouver is one of the league's worst teams right now. Daniel Sedin is sidelined with an injury, Henrik Sedin hasn't recorded a point in 10 games, and head coach John Tortorella is stuck with one of the worst groups of forwards in the league. The Canucks fell 1-0 in Phoenix on Tuesday night and their playoff hopes are fading quickly. The team shipped Roberto Luongo to Florida two days ago and actively tried to move Ryan Kesler on Deadline Day, a sign that the team is already looking to the future. Vancouver now takes on a Dallas squad that is making a playoff push. The Stars have already beaten the Canucks twice this season, and those victories came when Vancouver was healthy and playing much better hockey. This is simply a case of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Canucks are 7-19 in their last 26 games and just 3-13 in their last 16 road games. Meanwhile, the Stars are 6-0 in their last 6 games after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. Dallas has also won four of the last five meetings between these two teams. Take Dallas. The Detroit Red Wings host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. Detroit is coming off a 4-3 loss to New Jersey, while Colorado beat Chicago their last time out, 4-2. This quick two-game road trip should already be considered a success for the Avalanche after a win in Chicago, but they'll surely look for a sweep before returning home given their great current form. The Avalanche have won three of four since returning from the Olympic break, with wins in each of their last three games. They've done so on the back of some tremendous offensive play, scoring 4.5 goals per game since returning to action. As for the Red Wings, they'll have a tough time keeping up the scoring pace without top players Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg. The team is also without offseason acquisition Stephen Weiss up the middle, and the team showed its desperation at the deadline, bringing in center David Legwand. The Avalanche are 8-3 in their last 11 road games, while the Red Wings are 3-9 in their last 12 games against Central Division opponents. Take Colorado. The Winnipeg Jets host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Winnipeg is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the New York Islanders, while the Kings beat the Canadiens their last time out, 2-1. We're getting tremendous value in this one on a Kings team that has won five in a row and each of their four games since returning from the Olympic break. They've been able to do so thanks to tremendous defense and goaltending, allowing just two goals in their last three wins. Now the team will debut forward Marian Gaborik, who will surely be extra motivated to find the back of the net in this one now that he finds himself on a legitimate title contender for possibly the first time in his career. As for the Jets, they lost some scoring punch with second line center Mark Scheifele going down with an MCL sprain, leaving the team shorthanded up the middle. The Columbus Blue Jackets battle the Dallas Stars on Tuesday evening. Columbus has quietly become one of the deepest teams in the league. No, we're not kidding. A quick look at the Blue Jackets depth chart reveals three solid forward lines, who are a nightmare for opposing defensemen. The Jackets won in Toronto last night and the Leafs defense core applauded the Jackets forecheck after the game. Columbus should be able to get their forecheck going once again tonight against a Stars squad that gives up 2.74 goals per game. Dallas turns to their backup netminder Dan Ellis, who is a far cry from their starter, Kari Lehtnonen. Ellis' .906 save percentage is one of the worst percentages in the league. The Jackets have won 14 of their last 20 games and continue to be one of the more undervalued teams in the league. Sergei Bobrovsky has been rock solid between the pipes and boasts a stellar 4-0-1 record with a 1.95 GAA in five career starts against the Stars. Columbus went 2-0-1 against Dallas last season. The Stars are 15-39 in their last 54 games playing on no days rest. The Blue Jackets are 8-2 in their last 10 home games and 12-4 in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record. Colorado ML
The Colorado Avalanche play host to the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday evening. Phoenix enters a bad scheduling spot on Friday after playing in Winnipeg on Thursday night. The 1,050-mile flight will take a toll on the Coyotes, especially since they played in overtime and shootout against the Jets yesterday. Phoenix has been terrible on the road as of late, and the odds are stacked against them again on Friday. The Coyotes have scored just 18 goals in their last 9 road games; an average of a measly 2 goals per game. It should also be noted that four of those games went to overtime, providing Phoenix with even more time to score. The Coyotes will struggle to get pucks past Avs goaltender Semyon Varlamov, who has posted a 2.30 GAA and .927 save percentage at home this season. On the other side of things, the Coyotes don't have the defensive core to be able to contain the Avalanche's speed up front. Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon, Matt Duchene, Ryan O'Reilly, and Paul Statsny provide excellent speed and goal-scoring potential for the Avalanche against a subpar Coyotes defense. The Coyotes are 17-36 in their last 53 road games and 0-5 in their last 5 games playing on no rest. The Avalanche are 7-1 in their last 8 games against a team with a losing record. Take Colorado. 02-27-14 | Phoenix Coyotes v. Winnipeg Jets -115 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 22 h 59 m | Show

The Winnipeg Jets host the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday night. The Jets went into the break as one of the NHL's hottest teams, winning nine of their final 13 games heading into the break, with three of those four losses coming on the road, winning four of five home games in that stretch. The team's coaching change over to Paul Maurice meant big things for the team, and they should hit the ground running out of the break. The Jets didn't really send a strong contingent of players over to Sochi, allowing the team to get the training camp under their new head coach that they didn't get in the offseason. As for Phoenix, they really hit a wall heading into the break, losing seven of their final 19 games. Things weren't any better on the road, where the Coyotes lost seven of their final eight games. The Coyotes are 1-5 in their last six games against Central Division opponents, while the Jets are 5-1 in their last six games against Pacific Division opponents. The home team is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these teams. Take Winnipeg. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Winnipeg Jets ML |

02-27-14 | Toronto Maple Leafs -107 v. NY Islanders | 4-5 | Loss | -107 | 21 h 58 m | Show
Toronto ML
The New York Islanders host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night. The Maple Leafs couldn't have been too happy to see the Olympic break come upon them. The team went into the break red hot, winning 11 of their final 14 games. A big reason for that was the play of the team's top line, as Phil Kessel, James van Riemsdyk, and Tyler Bozak combined to form arguably the league's top line over the final few weeks January and into February. The Leafs should expect more of the same from the trio, as Kessel and van Riemsdyk combined to form one of the best lines in Sochi for the Americans. Now the team gets to face an Islanders squad that didn't benefit from the break at all, as the Islanders lost captain John Tavares for the season after he suffered a knee injury in Sochi. Worse yet, forward Thomas Vanek was visibly frustrated playing for the Austrians, and it sounds like he'll be out of town before the trade deadline. The road team is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these teams. Take Toronto. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Toronto Maple Leafs ML |

02-08-14 | New Jersey Devils +129 v. Washington Capitals | 0-3 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 22 m | Show
New Jersey ML
The Washington Capitals host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday evening. This is a terrible spot for Washington. The Capitals are playing their last game before the Olympic break, and we wouldn't be surprised if Caps' star Alex Ovechkin already has his sights set on representing Russia on home soil. They also take on a Devils squad that's given them grief over the past few seasons. New Jersey plays a very frustrating brand of hockey on the road. The Devils don't take very many penalties and they clog up the neutral zone. This style of play has proven to be very successful against the Caps, as the Devils have won seven of the last eight meeting between these two teams. The Devils defeated the Oilers last night in New Jersey, and although we'd usually be skeptical in backing a team playing on back-to-back nights, the Devils have thrived in that role. New Jersey is 7-3 in their last 10 games on the second half of a back-to-back. The Devils have also chosen to go back to Cory Schneider between the pipes instead of veteran Martin Brodeur. That's music to our ears. Schneider has been nothing short of outstanding this season as he enters tonight's contest with a .925 save percentage and 1.88 GAA. The Capitals are 2-11 in their last 13 games playing on 1 days rest. The Capitals are 3-7 in their last 10 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game. Take New Jersey. 02-06-14 | Colorado Avalanche v. Philadelphia Flyers -115 | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 27 h 55 m | Show
Philadelphia ML
The Philadelphia Flyers host the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday night. Philadelphia is coming off a 2-0 win over Los Angeles, while the Avalnche fell to the Rangers in their last outing, 5-1. The Flyers return home for this one after a three-game road trip in which they performed quite well in California. The team took two of three on the trip including picking up their first win in San Jose since 1999. That has the team in a tie roe the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and with only two games remaining before the Olympic break, they wont want to surrender that spot. The Flyers have been streaking at home since a rough start to the season, upping their home record to 14-10-1. A big reason for the turnaround has been the improved play of captain Claude Giroux. Giroux needed to get 15 games under his belt before he found the back of the net, but he's tuned things around in a big way. Over his last seven games, Giroux has racked up five goals and 11 points. As for Colorado, they'll be in tough in Philadelphia, where they've lost each of their last two trips. The Flyers are 3-1 in their last four games. Take Philadelphia. 02-04-14 | Toronto Maple Leafs -104 v. Florida Panthers | 1-4 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Toronto ML
The Florida Panthers play host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday evening. At a pick'em price, we believe Toronto is offering up great value tonight. The Leafs have gone 9-1-1 in their last 11 games, and are scoring at will right now. Toronto has scored four non-shootout goals or more seven times in their last 11 games, in large part due to Phil Kessel, who has a whopping 23 points in his last 12 contests. Florida has struggled to keep the puck out of the back of the net this season, and lost to Toronto 6-3 earlier last week. Goaltender Tim Thomas is clearly at the tail end of his career as he's been awful in recent weeks. Thomas has a 3.70 GAA in his last seven starts, allowing at least three goals in all seven of those contests. On the other side of things, the Leafs have benefited from superb goaltending. Jonathan Bernier has been very consistent this season and holds a 2.72 GAA over his last nine starts. As is often the case when the Leafs travel to Florida, this will almost seem as though it's a home game for Toronto. There will be a ton of Leafs fan in attendance tonight and we think that they'll continue their winning ways over one of the league's bottom feeders. The Maple Leafs are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams. The Panthers are 15-37 in their last 52 games following a loss of 3 or more goals. Take Toronto. 01-30-14 | New Jersey Devils v. Dallas Stars -134 | 3-2 | Loss | -134 | 21 h 28 m | Show
Dallas ML
The Dallas Stars host the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night. Dallas is coming off a 4-3 loss to Colorado, while New Jersey fell to St. Louis in their last outing, 3-0. The Dallas Stars hit a real rough patch around the start of the new year. They were the last team to pick up a victory in calendar 2014, but they now appear to be back in form, and we'll gladly get behind them as the betting public is slow to react. The Stars returned home and have won three of the first four games on their current homestand. Not only have they been winning, but the Stars have been scoring in bunches, putting up 4.3 goals per game over those four contests. Captain Jamie Benn has been white hot over that stretch of games, posting three goals and five assists over those four contests. The Stars have scored on the power play in eight consecutive contests. That spells trouble for a Devils team that has allowed 10 goals in their last two games. The home team is 11-2 in the last 13 meetings between these teams, and the Devils are 1-5 in their last six trips to Dallas. Take Dallas. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Dallas Stars ML |

Tampa Bay ML
The Ottawa Senators host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday night. Ottawa is coming off a 3-2 win over Columbus, while Tampa Bay fell to Toronto in their last outing, 3-2. The Lightning have been without their top player in the month of January and yet they've been able to put up a strong 8-5-1 record. The team has been able to do so thanks to some youngsters stepping up on their top line alongside Martin St. Louis. St. Louis has 14 points in his last 11 games. The team may not have been able to get past Toronto, but they outplayed the Leafs throughout the night, racking up 42 shots in the game. As for Ottawa, it appeared the team was turning things around entering the new year, but they just haven't been able to string wins together, posting a 4-12 record in their last 16 games following a win. Ottawa gets this game at home, but they're returning home from a four-game road trip and will go right back on the road following the game, so fatigue could be a factor. The Lightning are 9-3 in their last 12 road games. Take Tampa Bay. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Tampa Bay Lightning ML |

NY Rangers ML
The New York Islanders host the New York Rangers on Wednesday night. The Islanders are coming off a 6-3 loss to the Bruins, while the Rangers beat up on the Devils their last time out, 7-3. The Islanders had a bit of a run coming out of a terrible start to the season, but that seems to have come to an end with the team dropping each of the first three contests in their current four-game homestand. The Islanders are a woeful 3-13 in their last 16 games against divisional opponents. As for the Rangers, as is often the case with Henrik Lundqvist's teams, a slow start is in the past and the team has won seven of their last 10 games. Now they go on the "road", although this game will be played in front of the Bronx faithful at Yankee Stadium. The venue won't help out the Islanders one bit. In fact, the opposite has been true in this series, as the road team is 6-0 in the last six meetings between these teams. The Rangers are 4-0 in their last four road games, while the Islanders are 8-20 in their last 28 home games. Take the New York Rangers. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on NY Rangers ML |

01-28-14 | Washington Capitals -131 v. Buffalo Sabres | 5-4 | Win | 100 | 26 h 42 m | Show
Washington ML
The Buffalo Sabres host the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night. We've talked in the past about teams we would like to back night in and night out, but the lines simply don't make sense. Well, Buffalo is a team we would like to fade just about every night. The Sabres have been terrible this season, and their one strength, in goal, hasn't been a strength in recent weeks. Buffalo has allowed 3.83 goals per game over its last six. Now the team gets a back-to-back in two different cities, and with the front end of that being played in Pittsburgh, expect Buffalo to be more than a little tired out by the time this one starts. Getting it at home isn't a great boon either - the Sabres are 0-5 in their last five home games. As for Washington, the rough patch the team endured coincided with an injury to Alexander Ovechkin, and as Ovechkin comes out on the other side of that unpleasantness, the team bounced back with a 5-0 win over Montreal on the road on Saturday. The Sabres are 6-4 in their last 30 games played on the second night of a back-to-back. Take Washington. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Washington Capitals ML |

01-28-14 | Detroit Red Wings v. Philadelphia Flyers -137 | 0-5 | Win | 100 | 25 h 12 m | Show
Philadelphia ML
The Philadelphia Flyers host the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night. Philadelphia is coming off a 6-1 loss to Boston, while Detroit dropped their last game to Florida in a shootout. The Red Wings will be shorthanded in this one without the services of their top two players in Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg. That's going to mean trouble in a game that could be high-scoring. After getting thrashed by Boston on Saturday afternoon, this is a nice bounce back spot for Philadelphia. In their last game against Detroit, the Flyers scored six goals. They'll look for a similar performance against the Red Wings on this night. The Red Wings will look to hold off the onslaught with the return of Jimmy Howard who is expected to be activated of injured reserve in time to make the start, though fresh off a long absence he may not be ready for what he's about to face. The home team is 17-2 in the last 19 meetings between these teams, and Detroit is 0-7 in its last seven trips to Philadelphia. Take Philadelphia. Los Angeles ML
The Los Angeles Kings battle the Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium on Saturday night. We played the Ducks against the Kings on Thursday night, but we're going to change our course of action in this contest. Los Angeles was actually very impressive in that 2-1 loss to Anaheim on Thursday, outshooting the Ducks 31-21 in one of the most dominant home settings in the NHL. Although this isn't a true home game for the Kings, they've been very good in Los Angeles this season, losing in regulation just 6 times in 25 games. In the last four meetings between these two teams, the Kings have outshot the Ducks by 47 total shots. Los Angeles is returning home from a lengthy road trip but it's important to note that the Kings are 12-2 in their last 14 home games following a road trip of 7 or more days. The Kings are also 5-2 in their last 7 in the second game of a home-and-home situation. The Ducks are 0-5 in the last 5 meetings in Los Angeles. Take Los Angeles. 01-24-14 | Colorado Avalanche -110 v. Florida Panthers | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 29 h 13 m | Show
Colorado ML
The Florida Panthers battle the Colorado Avalanche on Friday evening. The Panthers have won consecutive games for the first time since mid-December, and that allows us to get in on Colorado at a very reasonable price. Florida's wins have come on the road against Pittsburgh and Buffalo, but it's important to note they were outshot and outplayed badly in both of those games. They now return home to take on an Avalanche team that is getting healthier. Colorado is expected to have forward Alex Tanguay and defenseman Nate Guenin back in the lineup on Friday, one game after getting P.A. Parenteau back from injury as well. The Avalanche will now resemble the team that was destroying competition earlier in the season. Meanwhile, Florida's best chance of winning this game will be with strong special teams play, but unfortunately they haven't mustered a powerplay goal in a whopping 11 straight games! The Avalanche are 25-10 in their last 35 vs. Eastern Conference, while the Panthers are 21-44 in their last 65 vs. Western Conference. The Panthers are 6-20 in their last 26 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. Take Colorado. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Colorado Avalanche ML |

Anaheim ML
The Anaheim Ducks host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Anaheim is coming off a 3-2 loss to Anaheim, while Los Angeles dropped their last game to Columbus, 5-3. We cashed a ticket by fading the Kings in their last game, and that was in Columbus, so we'll gladly go right back to that well in this one with the team going to one of the toughest places to play in the league. While the Ducks may have dropped their last home game, that came against a Winnipeg team that's been streaking behind new head coach Paul Maurice. We expect a bounce back on Thursday night. The Ducks have been stellar at home since head coach Bruce Boudreau took over as the team's bench boss. In their last 51 home games, the Ducks are 38-13. They've been even better than that at home this season, posting a 20-1-2 record in their own building on the season. Now they get a Kings team having a ton of trouble on their current road trip, losing their last three games, and they'll now play their third game in four nights. The home team is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these teams. Take Anaheim. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Anaheim Ducks ML |

01-22-14 | Chicago Blackhawks -145 v. Detroit Red Wings | 4-5 | Loss | -145 | 28 h 47 m | Show
Chicago ML
The Detroit Red Wings host the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night. Detroit is coming off a 4-1 loss to St. Louis, while Chicago beat Boston in a shootout their last time out, 3-2. We've said it before and we'll say it again - there are certain teams in the league we'd like to take just about every night they hit the ice, and the Blackhawks are one of them. Few teams can match their offensive talent, and even fewer can back that up with the type of defensive play the team is capable of. Unfortunately, most bettors share this feeling, meaning unreasonable lines to get behind the Blackhawks, but when the time is right, like it is on Wednesday, we're happy to run to the betting window. The Red Wings' home-road split has been flipped on its head this season, as the team has won just seven of 25 home games this season, while posting a 14-7-3 record on the road. In addition to their struggles at home, goaltender Jimmy Howard is dealing with a lower body injury that knocked him out of the team's game on Monday. The Blackhawks are 11-3 in the last 14 meetings between these teams, and 10-3 in their last 13 trips to Detroit. Take Chicago. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Chicago Blackhawks ML |

01-21-14 | Ottawa Senators +122 v. Washington Capitals | 2-0 | Win | 122 | 27 h 27 m | Show
Ottawa ML
The Washington Capitals host the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night. Washington is coming off a 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers, while Ottawa dropped their last game to that same Rangers team by an identical 4-1 score. It's worth noting that Ottawa got a rested Rangers team in their game, while Washington got them on the second night of a back-to-back. These teams have been heading in very different directions of late. While Ottawa enters this game coming off back to back losses, they've really turned things around of late, winning six of seven prior to those outings. As for Washington, the team looks lost right now, losing five games in a row and eight of their last 10. Turning things around against Ottawa probably isn't all that likely, given that the Senators have won each of the last six meetings between the teams, including a pair of two-goal victories this season. While the Capitals get this game at home, they are returning from a three-game road trip and will head right back out onto the road following this game. The Senators are 6-1 in their last seven games when playing on two days rest. Take Ottawa. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Ottawa Senators ML |

The Columbus Blue Jackets host the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night. Columbus is coming off a 4-3 shootout win over Buffalo, while Los Angeles dropped their last game to Boston, 3-2. The Blue Jackets don't bring a lot of name value to this one, but they've been white hot of late which means they present plenty of value for us. The Blue Jackets have been scoring goals in bunches, and it's led to them winning six games in a row. Over those six games, the Blue Jackets have scored a whopping 4.2 goals per game. The game also presents a bad spot for the Kings who played on Monday afternoon against a physical Bruins squad, and now play a game outside their conference with a crucial date against the Ducks waiting on deck. It would be tough to blame the Kings for looking ahead to their date with the Ducks in a far more important game. The home team is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these teams. The Blue Jackets are 4-1 in their last five home games, while the Kings are 1-6 in their last seven road games. Take Columbus. Good Luck, Razor Ray 6* Play on Columbus Blue Jackets ML |

The Detroit Red Wings host the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday evening. Detroit heads into this matchup SEVERELY undermanned. They're without their superstar forward Pavel Datsyuk, and many other important bodies, including Daniel Alfredsson, Stephen Weiss, Johan Franzen, and Darren Helm. We have a hard time believing that the Red Wings can compete with the powerful Kings when half of their minor league system is taking the ice. Detroit has been shutout in back-to-back games and will surely find it difficult to generate chances against a Los Angeles squad that surrenders just 27.2 shots per game. The Kings have also benefited from some superb goaltending; Jonathan Quick has a 1.32 GAA in six games since returning from a groin injury. The Kings have won three of their last four games against some of the best teams in the league, with victories over Boston, Vancouver, and St. Louis. Their lone setback was a 3-1 loss to Detroit, but that score is extremely misleading as the Kings thoroughly outplayed the Wings in that contest. The Red Wings are 3-8 in their last 11 against Western Conference opponetns. The Red Wings are 2-8 in their last 10 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game. Detroit is the worst home team in the league, winning just 6 of their 23 games at Joe Louis Arena this season. Take Los Angeles. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Los Angeles Kings ML |

The Ottawa Senators host the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon. Much is being made of the Senators' play as of late, but the Rangers are surging themselves. Defenseman Anton Stralman was recently asked about New York's current form and responded with "We're really clicking right now ... we're getting consistent games". When backing an underdog in the NHL, consistency is key, and we'll gladly get in on the Rangers here. New York has won four of their last five games, and eight of their last ten. They've given up more than two goals just twice in their last nine games, and have outshot their opponents in seven of their last nine games. Cam Talbot will get the start between the pipes for New York and he's given up just one goal in four of his last five contests. His 1.66 GAA and .938 save percentage are among the best numbers posted by any goaltender in the league. Ottawa hasn't been a very good home team this year, losing 15 of their 26 games at the Canadian Tire Centre this season. The Rangers are 7-0 in their last 7 road games against a team with a losing home record. The road team is 15-6 in the last 21 meetings between these two teams. The St. Louis Blues host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. St. Louis is coming off a 2-1 win over Phoenix, while Los Angeles beat Vancouver 1-0 their last time out. There are a handful of teams we would like to back just about every night, but the odds just don't line up in our favor. St. Louis is one of those teams and we are happy to get in behind them at a favorable number on this night. The Kings bring some name value to this matchup but they ave actually struggled of late, losing seven of their last 10 games. The Kings have played four road games in that stretch, losing all of them, and scoring only four goals in those four games. Not a recipe for success against a Blues team that is one of the hardest in the league to score against. The Blues have also done a great job of scoring the pick of late, scoring 4.0 goals per game over the last six contests. The Los Angeles Kings host the Boston Bruins on Thursday night. Los Angeles is coming off a shootout loss to Minnesota, while Boston dropped their last game in Anaheim, 5-2. We cashed a ticket on a top-rated ticket in Boston's last game, and we will go right back to that well as they continue to be overvalued on the road. On Tuesday night the Bruins began their Western road trip in Anaheim and were walked all over by the Ducks who took a quick 3-0 lead and never looked back with the Bruins never really putting up much of a fight. The Bruins are reeling right now as they simply have not been able to adjust to the losses of a top defenseman in Dennis Seidenberg and a top scorer in Louis Eriksson. The loss of Seidenberg in particular doesn't get the credit it deserves as he has played in the shadow of Zdeno Chara far too long and his true value is coming to light now that he's gone. Now the Bruins get another tough late game on the road against a solid Kings team that can roll four lines and score with all of them, and Boston may not have the depth on the blue line needed to stop them. The Bruins are 1-4 in their last 5 road games, while the Kings are 40-12 in their last 52 home games. The Kings are 26-7 in their last 33 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The New York Islanders host the Dallas Stars on Monday night. New York is coming off a 3-2 loss to Carolina, while Dallas dropped their last game to Detroit, 5-1. After making the playoffs a year ago the Islanders have fallen right back into their old bad habits and have sat at or near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings all season, making them a prime candidate to fade. The team has also been absolutely dreadful in their own building this year, and they've only gotten worse as the season has progressed. The Islanders have only one win in their last 10 home games. Now that struggling team draws a date with a Stars team that has had their number, winning 5 of the last 6 meetings. The Stars will also get a boost from the addition of Tyler Seguin, who has 11 points in his last nine games against the Islanders. The Stars will also get a boost on their back end, as the team is expected to get back defensemen Sergei Gonchar and Trevor Daley from injury on Monday night. We've already cashed a ticket this week by fading San Jose on the road, going against them in their trip to Anaheim, and we'll go right back to that well on this night. There's little question that the Chicago Blackhawks have been the best team in hockey over the last two seasons, if not for longer than that, but the general public knows that, and so it isn't often that we can get behind them due to inflated lines, but we have that opportunity in this one and so we are all over it. Chicago has been absolutely rock solid at home this season, losing in regulation at home only twice in 22 games. Additionally, the Blackhawks have won six home games in a row against the Sharks. Home ice has been very important in this series, as the home team has won eight of the last nine meetings, and 12 of the last 14. The Sharks are 2-7 in their last nine road games. Take Chicago. Tampa Bay ML
The Calgary Flames host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night. Calgary is coming off a 4-1 loss to Philadelphia, while Tampa Bay beat Vancouver their last time out, 4-2. Fading the Flames has been a very profitable endeavor for us this season, as the team is at their lowest point in years as they look to rebuild following the loss of two foundational players. The team has lost nearly two thirds of their home games, and there's no reason to expect a better effort from them on this night. The Flames are mired in a terrible streak in which they've lost seven of their last eight games, having scored only once in their last three. Meanwhile, the Lightning have won six of their last eight games, including four in a row on the road, yet we get them at a very favorable price in a major mismatch. Additionally, Lightning center Valtteri Filppula has been white hot, recording multi-point games in five of the team's last seven games, racking up 12 points in the last eight games. The Lightning are 4-1 in their last five trips to Calgary, and 6-2 in the last eight meetings between the teams overall. Take Tampa Bay. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Tampa Bay Lightning ML |

Phoenix ML
The Phoenix Coyotes host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night. Phoenix is coming off a 4-3 overtime win over Edmonton, while Columbus dropped their last game against Colorado, 5-3. Phoenix has quietly been one of the better bets in hockey when playing in their own building, winning 11 of 17 home contests so far this year, and that record would be even more impressive if not for a recent shootout loss to San Jose. The Coyotes have been getting solid goaltending from Mike Smith as he continues to make a case to be between the pipes for Team Canada at the Olympics. As for Columbus, they |

The Dallas Stars host the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night. Dallas is coming off a 3-2 win over Los Angeles, while Montreal fell to Carolina their last time out, 5-4 in overtime. Dallas has quietly done a stellar job of defending their home ice of late. The team is 4-0-1 in their last five home games, with the lone loss coming in overtime against the always tough St. Louis Blues. That stretch of wins also includes victories over top teams like Vancouver and Los Angeles. The team has also been quite strong overall in their last seven games, winning five of them, with both losses coming after the completion of regulation against top Western Conference teams. A big part of that success has come from the team |

Anaheim ML
The Anaheim Ducks host the San Jose Sharks in the second part of their home-and-home set on Tuesday night. Anaheim entered their last game riding a 10-game winning streak but they fell 3-1 to the Sharks in that contest. A close look at that game reveals that the Ducks outshot the Sharks 31-23 and significantly outchanced them as well... and that game was in San Jose. The Ducks now return home where they're an unbelievable 14-0-2 this season. Anaheim is the only team in the league that hasn't lost at home in regulation, and we'll continue to ride that trend. It's not like Anaheim is playing close games at home either; they're outscoring opponents by an average of 3.69 to 1.75 at home this year. The Sharks are 9-19 in their last 28 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. The Sharks are just 2-5 in their last 7 road games. The Ducks are 4-0 in their last 4 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Ducks are 17-6 in their last 23 in the second game of a home-and-home situation. Take Anaheim. 12-31-13 | Buffalo Sabres v. Winnipeg Jets -166 | 0-3 | Win | 100 | 23 h 23 m | Show
Winnipeg ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday night. We're not normally ones to advise backing big favorites, but we feel that the Jets are significantly underpriced in this one. Buffalo hasn't won a road game in nearly two months. Two months! They're a pitiful 3-12-2 away from home this season, and have been outscored 30-12 in their last nine road games. The Sabres turn to backup goaltender Jhonas Enroth tonight. Enroth isn't necessarily a terrible goalie but he's a significant downgrade from Miller. Enroth has won just one of his 11 starts this season. Meanwhile, the Jets are starting to play some good hockey. Winnipeg are winners of two straight games, both against Western Conference foes, which is particularly impressive when you consider how much better the West is than the East this year. The Sabres are 4-14 in their last 18 after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Jets are 9-3 in their last 12 vs. Eastern Conference opponents. The Sabres are 1-6 in the last 7 meetings between these two teams. Take Winnipeg. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Winnipeg Jets ML |

Vancouver ML
The Calgary Flames host the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. Vancouver is coming off a 2-1 win over Winnipeg, while Calgary dropped their last game to Edmonton, 2-0. We're getting great value in this matchup on a streaking Vancouver team against a slumping Calgary squad. We've been very successful in fading the Flames this season and we'll go right back to that well in this one. The Canucks have won eight of their last 10 games and they've done so with stellar play at both ends of the ice. Vancouver has scored 2.9 goals per game over their last 10 contests, while surrendering just 1.5 goals per game. The team has also dominated this series in recent years, winning five of the last six meetings between the teams, including a win in Calgary in the lone meeting between the clubs this season. Reto Berra will get the nod for the Flames in this one and he's been less than impressive this season. He's posted a 2.79 GAA and a save percentage of just .898 in nine home games this year, losing seven of those nine games. The Flames are 4-10 in their last 14 home games, and 6-13 in their last 19 games versus Pacific division opponents. Take Vancouver. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Vancouver Canucks ML |

Anaheim ML
The Anaheim Ducks host the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday night. Anaheim is coming off a 3-2 win over Washington, while Phoenix dropped their last game to San Jose in a shootout, 4-3. We've been no strangers to getting behind the Ducks since Bruce Boudreau took over as the team's head coach, cashing in many tickets over the last couple of years, and we'll go right back to that well in this one. The team has been absolutely lights out at home this season, posting an unreal 13-0-2 record in their own barn. The Ducks have won nine games in a row, and now get a Phoenix team that has lost five of their last six games, and had to play extra time and a shootout on Friday night. Anaheim shouldn't have a ton of trouble lighting the lamp in this one as they've scored 3.8 goals per game over their last nine contests and 4.0 goals per game in winning each of their three meetings with Phoenix this season. The home team is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings between these teams, and Phoenix has dropped five of their last six games in Anaheim, and four of the last five in the series overall. Take Anaheim. The Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres will face off in Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Friday night. Toronto is coming off a 2-1 shootout loss to the Rangers, while Buffalo beat Phoenix in overtime their last time out, 2-1. Th home team has dominated in this series for a long time now, which is why we're willing to jump in on a number that's normally a little higher than we're comfortable with. The home team has won eight of the last 10 meetings between these teams, including each of the last five, and all three meetings this season. The home team is 20-7 in the last 27 meetings between these teams. The Sabres have been a major disappointment this season, and that only gets magnified when they take to the road, where they have lost 13 of 16 games this season. The Leafs have lost back-to-back games, but they were both right in the thick of those contests, taking each of those games to the shootout. The Sabres are 1-7 in their last eight trips to Toronto. Washington ML
The Washington Capitals host the New Jersey Devils on Saturday evening. The Capitals are starting to play really good hockey at home, having won their last three home games. A major reason for Washington's success as of late has been their outstanding powerplay. The Capitals have gone 9-for-19 on the PP over their last five contests, and now rank second in the league in powerplay percentage this season. The Caps will take on a Devils group that should be pretty flat in this contest. New Jersey played in overtime last night, and as Caps' head coach Adam Oates stated to the media, "Every second counts, the fatigue factor is very important." The Devils haven't played particularly well on the road this year, and have lost three of their last four away from home. To make matters worse, they turn to veteran netminder Martin Brodeur tonight, who is clearly the second-best goaltender on their roster right now. The Devils are 9-27 in their last 36 road games. The Devils are 2-5 in their last 7 games following overtime on the previous day. The Capitals are 11-4 in their last 15 against a team with a winning % below .400. Take Washington. The Edmonton Oilers host the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. Edmonton is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to Calgary, while Carolina dropped their last game to Vancouver, 2-0. We've profited a fair amount by fading Carolina this season, and we're happy to do it again on this night. Backing the Oilers hasn't been profitable in recent years, but they've been playing much better hockey of late, and getting them at a fair price in their own barn makes all the difference in this one. Edmonton is 6-3-1 in their last 10 home games, and they've been scoring goals in bunches, with 3.5 goals per game in those 10 contests. The majority of the credit for that recent surge in goals belongs to forward Taylor Hall, who has four goals and two assists in the first three games of the team's current homestand. Meanwhile, forward Jeff Skinner carried the Hurricanes through a mini surge, earning first star of the week honors in the NHL, but he's been held pointless in back-to-back games and his value was evident in their last game as the Hurricanes were shut out. The Hurricanes are 3-7 in their last 10 road games. Take Edmonton. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Edmonton Oilers ML |

11-28-13 | Vancouver Canucks -107 v. Ottawa Senators | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 21 h 32 m | Show
Vancouver ML
The Ottawa Senators play host to the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday evening. The Canucks have been struggling mightily in recent weeks. Vancouver has won just one of their last eight contests, but we feel that they've gotten very unlucky in that span. Vancouver is scoring on just 3.7 percent of their shots over their last seven losses, a number that is insanely low. It's only a matter of a time before the Canucks start getting some bounces. The Canucks' last three games have come against the Blue Jackets, Blackhawks, and Kings. Vancouver outshot those teams by a whopping 44 shots but only had one win to show for it. We like their chances to put some pucks in the back of the net against a Senators squad that's allowed at least four goals in five of their last six games. Ottawa comes into this matchup off of a come-from-behind victory against Washington last night. The Sens expended a lot of energy in that contest and take on a well-rested Canucks team. The Canucks are 35-17 in their last 52 games playing on 2 days rest. The Senators are 14-37 in their last 51 vs. Western Conference opponents. The Senators are 3-8 in their last 11 home games. The Canucks are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Ottawa. Take Vancouver. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Vancouver Canucks ML |

11-23-13 | Colorado Avalanche v. Los Angeles Kings -140 | Top | 1-0 | Loss | -140 | 23 h 9 m | Show |
Los Angeles ML
The Los Angeles Kings host the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night. Don't let the records of these two teams fool you; the Kings have a huge edge on this night and we'll be stepping up with a 10* top rating. The Kings are the best home team in the league and it isn't even close. Their Corsi For % of 59.5 at the Staples Center indicates that they are extremely dominant in front of their home crowd. Los Angeles dropped their last home contest 2-1 to New Jersey despite outshooting the Devils 35-15. The Kings seldom drop two in a row at home. The main question mark surrounding Los Angeles is their goaltending. Jonathan Quick is on the shelf but Ben Scrivens has performed admirably in relief, boasting a stellar 1.19 GAA in his last five contests. Goaltending is not an issue for the Kings right now. Meanwhile, Colorado continues to win with smoke and mirrors. Following a three-game losing streak, the Avalanche have reeled off two straight wins despite being outshot by 28 shots in those two games. Colorado's road record is also a farce. The Avalanche are 7-2 away from home this season but a Corsi For % of 42.4 indicates that they've been dominated in those games. Colorado's luck is soon to run out. To make matters worse for the Avalanche, they're without their leading scorer as Matt Duchene remains sidelined with an oblique injury. Colorado isn't a very deep team, so the injury to Duchene is a huge issue. Last but not least, special teams play definitely favors the Kings in this contest. Los Angeles has six goals on 26 power plays over their last six home games. Meanwhile, Colorado has allowed five power-play goals on 13 chances over their last four games. The Kings are 40-12 in their last 52 home games. The Kings are 25-9 in their last 34 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Avalanche are 2-6 in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles. 11-21-13 | Chicago Blackhawks -149 v. Winnipeg Jets | 6-3 | Win | 100 | 10 h 40 m | Show
Chicago ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night. Winnipeg is coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to Calgary, while Chicago dropped their last game in Colorado, 5-1. There is no question that more often than not, the team we like most on the board night in and night out is the Chicago Blackhawks. The team can score with anyone, plays sound defensively, and gets great goaltending. However, it simply isn't responsible to pick them that often because they are simply too pricey. As such, we need to pick our spots, and this is certainly one that has us running, not walking, to the betting window. The Blackhawks are coming off of an ugly loss in Colorado and will be looking to take out some of their frustration on the Jets. Winnipeg is a great opponent for Chicago to draw in this spot, because they have simply been lousy all year, making them a prime candidate to run up the score on. With this game holding extra meaning for Chicago, we're willing to buy in at a price a little higher than we usually do, although one that still offers great value. Take Chicago. Washington ML
The Washington Capitals host the St. Louis Blues in an early start on Sunday. The Capitals are coming off a 4-3 overtime win at Detroit, while St. Louis beat Carolina on Saturday night, 4-2. We are getting tremendous value on a good Capitals team in this one, as the team has been downright dominant at home this season, winning each of their last five home contests. They've also been scoring goals in bunches at the Verizon center, scoring 4.0 goals per game at home in the month of November. Going even further back, the Capitals have won seven of 10 home games on the season, and 22 of their last 30 home games. The team is also 6-2 in their last eight games overall, and simply have no business being listed as a home underdog. Coming to down is a very good Blues squad, but one that is playing on the second night of a back-to-back, having to travel to Washington overnight, and now face an early start to the game. Nashville ML
The New York Islanders host the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. New York is coming off a 4-2 loss to Montreal, while Nashville dropped their last game to New Jersey, 5-0. Nashville has been handed 5-0 defeats in each of its last two games, falling at Winnipeg on Friday and in New Jersey two days later. While it isn't inspiring that Nashville has been outscored 10-0 in their last two games, it sets up a great bounce back opportunity. Teams tend to bounce back coming off of back-to-back blowouts and we expect a spirited effort from the Preds tonight. The Predators have also dominated the Islanders in recent years. Nashville is 8-0-1 over the last nine meetings, going 2-0-1 at Nassau Coliseum. The Predsneeded just 14 saves from Pekka Rinne in a 3-2 victory over New York on October 12th. The Islanders are opening a three-game homestand after being outscored 16-6 on a winless road trip. We expect New York to be flat in their first game back home. Detroit ML
The Detroit Red Wings host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday evening. Detroit suffered a 4-3 OT loss to Dallas on Thursday while the Lightning enter on a three-game win streak, coming off of a 4-2 victory over Edmonton. Tampa Bay has enjoyed a strong 11-4 start to the season but we see a regression coming very soon. The Lightning have been outshot in 5 of their last 7 games but managed to pull out victories in six of those games. In the past, we've benefited by betting against teams with big "luck factors" and we'll do so again tonight. Detroit has struggled on home ice in recent weeks but they've been one of the most dominant home teams in the NHL in recent years. This issue will soon correct itself. Detroit has lost four in a row at home and haven't lost five in a row at Joe Louis Arena since 1986! Detroit, however, has dominated the Lightning franchise, posting a 24-5-1 record in the last 30 games with a 13-1-0 home mark. The Lightning have lost six in a row overall in the series and haven't beaten the Wings since January of 2003. A pair of Detroit's snipers have also owned Tampa Bay. Daniel Alfredsson has 71 points in 59 career matchups with Tampa Bay, including 11 points in the last seven games. Pavel Datsyuk has 13 points in seven games against the Lightning. The Lightning are 23-51 in their last 74 road games and 0-8-1 in the last 9 meetings in Detroit. Take Detroit. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Detroit Red Wings -125 |

Detroit ML
The Winnipeg Jets host the Detroit Red Wings on Monday night. It's Winnipeg that gets the advantage of playing at home, but it's Detroit that is correctly installed as the favorite in this one. The Red Wings have been total road warriors this season. The club is 6-2 on the road this season. They've been even better on the road of late. The team is concluding a three-day western road trip on this night, having swept the first three legal of the trip. The monotony of an 82 game season can drain players, so creating small milestones like sweeping a four game road trip can really keep things interesting for the players. As for Winnipeg, they've struggled mightily this season, with their head coach even suggesting he would bench the entire team if he could. The Jets are just 3-6 in their nine home games this season, and 1-6 in their last seven games overall. The Red Wings are 10-4 in the last 14 meetings between these teams. Take Detroit. The New Jersey Devils host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night. We cashed a ticket on New Jersey's last game and will go right back to that well in this one. The public has the Devils all wrong after a slow start, and we're happy to continue riding with them as they continue to be mispriced. Another edge comes with a struggling Philadelphia team playing on the second night of a back-to-back. A situation in which they haven't won a game yet this season. The Flyers have been a major disappointment and recently sent a key piece away in a trade, Max Talbot, for a checking line plodder, in hopes of waking the team up, but don't expect that to have a major impact as the Flyers are just spinning their wheels right now. The Devils meanwhile have won two in row now and look to continue their strong play. The team has scored five power play goals in their last 12 situations with the man advantage. That's not where the team makes its money though, as they play a tight-checking defensive style that frazzles opponents. The home team is 47-22 in the last 69 meetings between these teams. Dallas ML
The Dallas Stars host the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night. Dallas is coming off a 2-1 loss to Montreal, while Colorado beat Winnipeg their last time out, 3-2. The Colorado Avalanche have been on a stellar run to start their year, but that run has to come to an end sometime for a team that finished in the cellar of the NHL's Western Conference a year ago, and takes to the ice with a roster that remains largely intact. No better place for that downhill trek to begin than in Dallas, a place where they've won just 4 of their last 13 trips. The home team is 17-8 in the last 25 meetings between these teams. The Avalanche also have an extended break heading into this contest, another factor that will lead to decreased momentum for the team. The Avalanche are 7-18 in their last 25 games played on three or more days rest. As for the Stars, they're 3-1-1 at home this season, and have already played the role of spoiler in their own barn, handing the Sharks their first loss of the season. Don't let Minnesota's last game fool you - they lost to the best team in the NHL, and were coming into that contest on a three-game winning streak. The Wild are in good form right now, and we're happy to get behind them at a favorable price against an overrated Montreal team. The Habs are 4-1 on the road, but their wins have come against teams that are struggling, or just downright bad. The Canucks and Rangers are both adjusting to new coaches, while the Oilers and Jets are both lousy teams at the moment. The Wild are also in a great bounce back spot coming off their blowout loss. The team is full of a ton of veterans that won't take that loss lightly. Expect a strong effort from those veteran players as they look to get back into the win column. Los Angeles ML
The Los Angeles Kings play host to the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday night. The Coyotes are coming off of a 4-2 win over the Flames on Tuesday, while the Kings lost to those very same Flames on Monday. The Coyotes are off to their best 10-game start since going 7-1-2 to open the 2000/01 season. We think Phoenix is due for a big regression. The Coyotes Corsi For percentage of 50.4 is decent, but it isn't nearly high enough to sustain this type of run. Phoenix now heads to Los Angeles where they've won just three of their last 10 meetings. To make things worse, they're expected to be without captain Shane Doan for a second straight contest with a lower body injury. Meanwhile, you can expect the Kings to get back on track at home. The Kings are off to a mediocre 2-2 start at the Staples Center this season but it's important not to forget that Los Angeles was 27-5-1 at home in the regular season and playoffs last year. Jonathan Quick has also enjoyed huge success against Phoenix in his career. Quick has a 0.81 GAA and two shutouts in his last five home starts against the Coyotes. 10-24-13 | Winnipeg Jets v. Nashville Predators -132 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show
Nashville ML
The Nashville Predators host the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night. Nashville is coming off a 2-0 loss to Minnesota, while Winnipeg dropped their last game to Washington, 5-4 in a shootout. With the news of the injury to Pekka Rinne just coming down, we get tremendous value on the Predators in this one, with the public overreacting to the loss of a star player, and ignoring the wide talent gap that still remains between these teams. While both carry similar records, Nashville is 5-4-1, and Winnipeg is 4-5-1, the major difference is the number of home and away games. Nashville has played five of their games on the road, while Winnipeg has played only two on the road, and eight in their own barn. Things get even worse for Winnipeg after recent comments from their head coach, who suggested that he would bench the entire lineup if he could. Nashville brings a better record in this series as well, having cashed in just four days ago in Winnipeg, giving them three consecutive wins in the series, and wins in five of the last six meetings, and seven of the last nine. The Jets are 7-24 in their last 31 games against Central Division opponents. Take Nashville. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Nashville Predators ML |

10-22-13 | New Jersey Devils +124 v. Columbus Blue Jackets | 1-4 | Loss | -100 | 28 h 30 m | Show
New Jersey ML
The Columbus Blue Jackets host the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night. Columbus is coming off a 3-1 win over Vancouver, while New Jersey beat the Rangers in their last contest, 4-0. Neither team is playing great right now, but with a very favorable line for the Devils, we're happy to get on board. The first game as divisional rivals for these teams after offseason realignment. Expect the Devils to look to make a statement against the Blue Jackets. An infusion of youth helped the Devils in their last game as the team notched a season-high in goals against a good defensive Rangers team. Cory Schneider will get the nod in this one for the Devils, and is coming off his best outing as a Devil. In the team's last game, Schneider turned aside each of the 22 shots he faced, shutting out the Rangers. Expect Schneider to keep the good times rolling against a Columbus team that he has dominated in his career. In eight career appearances against the Blue Jackets, Schneider is 6-1-1 with a 1.92 GAA and a .937 save percentage. The Blue Jackets are 1-4 in their last five games overall. The Devils have won five consecutive meetings with the Blue Jackets. Take New Jersey. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on New Jersey Devils ML |

10-19-13 | Columbus Blue Jackets v. Washington Capitals -120 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 6 h 17 m | Show
Washington ML
The Washington Capitals host the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Verizon Center on Saturday evening. The Capitals fell 2-0 to the Rangers on Wednesday night while the Blue Jackets are coming off of a 5-3 loss to the Canadiens on Thursday. The Capitals are 1-3-0 on their current homestand but we like them in a bounce back spot here. Head coach Adam Oates will be reshuffling Washington's lines for this contest, and the new line combos should light a fire under the Caps here. Martin Erat will be moved up from the fourth line to the second line in this contest. Erat has 53 points in his career versus Columbus; his highest point total against any team in the league. Columbus will be playing their third game in five days here and we'd venture an educated guess that they'll have tired legs against one of the league's fastest teams. Sergei Bobrovsky gets the call in between the pipes for Columbus, but he hasn't enjoyed much success in his career against Washington. Bobrovsky has a 3.36 GAA and .890 save percentag in three career meetings with the Caps. Columbus has lost three straight games against Washington. The Capitals are 5-1 in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest and 12-5 in their last 17 home games. Take Washington. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Washington Capitals ML |

10-18-13 | Phoenix Coyotes v. Anaheim Ducks -145 | 2-3 | Win | 100 | 24 h 3 m | Show
Anaheim ML
The Anaheim Ducks host the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday. Anaheim is coming off a 3-2 win over Calgary, while Phoenix lost their last outing, dropping a game to Ottawa in overtime, 3-2. We haven't been shy in selecting Anaheim over the last two seasons. With Bruce Boudreau running the show, the team has been among the league's elite, particularly at home. We just cashed a ticket on the Ducks earlier in the week, and we will go right back to that well foe this one. The Ducks have been a tough out at home, and could be too much for the Coyotes to handle on this night. The Ducks are 35-17 in their last 52 games overall, which happens to cover the majority of Boudreau's tenure in Anaheim. The Coyotes have not been quite that good in Anaheim, going 9-19 in their last 28 trips there. Don't expect any better luck this time around as they run into a buzzsaw in the form of a red hot Ducks team. The home team is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these teams. The Ducks are 5-0 in their last five games overall. Take Anaheim. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Anaheim Ducks ML |

10-15-13 | San Jose Sharks v. St Louis Blues -123 | 6-2 | Loss | -123 | 26 h 23 m | Show
St. Louis -123
The St. Louis Blues host the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. St. Louis is coming off a 5-3 win over the New York Rangers, while San Jose beat Ottawa in their last contest, 3-2. This game features a pair of undefeated teams, but both have been helped by a schedule heavy in home games, and only one side will get that boost in this contest. The Sharks are a very strong home team, and we took advantage of that fact by cashing a ticket on San Jose last week, but they're a very different club on the road. The Sharks are 18-39 in their last 57 road games, and just 5-16 in their last 21 road games against teams with a home winning percentage greater than .600. San Jose is also just 7-20 in their last 27 games against Central Division opponents. Meanwhile, St. Louis is coming off an extended rest, a situation in which they are 4-1 in their last five times in that scenario. The Blues are also 53-23 in their last 76 home games and 16-7 in their last 23 versus Western Conference opponents. The Blues are 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these teams. Montreal -119
The Winnipeg Jets host the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday. Winnipeg is coming off a 3-0 win, while Montreal beat Vancouver their last time out, 4-1. The Canadiens have won three of their last four games and look to close out their early western road trip with a win. Coaches love those types of trips early in the season because they are great for team-building. The Canadiens also got two days off between games which will help them avoid any kind of jet lag for this game. Montreal has been a thorn in the side of Winnipeg in recent years. The Canadiens have won five straight meetings between these teams, and seven of the last eight meetings between these practices. Montreal hasn't had a lick of trouble scoring against the Jets in those contests, scoring 4.1 goals per game. Montreal goaltender Carey Price has also been red hot, posting a .938 save percentage on the road this season, and winning five consecutive starts against Winnipeg. The Jets are 1-4 in their last five games against Atlantic Division opponents. The Jets are also 1-6 in their last seven games against opponents with a winning record. Take Montreal. 10-15-13 | Columbus Blue Jackets +106 v. Detroit Red Wings | 1-2 | Loss | -100 | 7 h 51 m | Show
Columbus +106
The Detroit Red Wings host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday. Few teams have given Detroit as much trouble as Columbus has in recent years. The Blue Jackets have won five of their last six games against the Red Wings, and the other went all the way to a shootout. The team's success has stemmed from a fantastic ability to stifle Detroit's normally potent offense, holding the Red Wings to two or fewer goals in five of the last six meetings, with a GAA below two in those six contests. Another factor going against the Red Wings is that they will be forced to travel to get to this game, playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Red Wings starting goaltender Jimmy Howard was a late scratch for the team's game on Monday night, which means he'll at best be limited come Tuesday night. Columbus hasn't missed a beat from where they left off last season, as the team has a GAA below two in their last three games, and they'll look to stifle the Detroit offense once again as they've done so well in the past. The Blue Jackets are 10-3 in their last 13 games overall. The Red Wings are 2-7 in their last nine games played on Tuesday. Take Columbus. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Columbus Blue Jackets +106 |

10-13-13 | Ottawa Senators v. Anaheim Ducks -147 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 20 h 27 m | Show
Anaheim -147
The Anaheim Ducks host the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. Anaheim has been a force at home under head coach Bruce Boudreau, and they'll look to continue that on what will be an important night in Anaheim on Sunday. The team will be wearing throwback uniforms as part of a promotion, and that will surely lead to plenty of additional seats getting filled in California, which means lots of noise from what will be a raucous home crowd. The Ducks are 3-1 this season, with wins in each of their last three games after a shocking opener in Colorado. Anaheim's lone home game saw them rip New York to shreds, 6-0.Now they get an Ottawa team that they haven't lost to since 2009. As for Ottawa, they're the victims of a weird scheduling quirk in which they will open their season with six consecutive games played on the road. This contest will be game number five in that trip, and worst of all, it's the second game of a back-to-back. Meanwhile, the Ducks get the game on two days of rest. Anaheim is 6-1 in their last seven games played on two days of rest. The Ducks are 19-9 in their last 28 home games. Take Anaheim. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Anaheim Ducks -147 |

10-12-13 | Philadelphia Flyers v. Detroit Red Wings -167 | 2-5 | Win | 100 | 8 h 18 m | Show
Detroit ML
The Detroit Red Wings play host to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night. The Red Wings are coming off of back-to-back losses while the Flyers fell to the Coyotes on home ice on Friday. There's no other way to put this; the Philadelphia Flyers are awful. Their lone win this season came in the head coaching debut of Craig Berube, and rather than carrying that momentum into last night's game, the Flyers lost on home ice to a Coyotes team playing their third game in four nights. Philadelphia boasts the worst defensive unit in the league, where Luke Schenn, a Maple Leafs reject, logs the most ice time on the team. Ray Emery is expected to get the call for the Flyers in net tonight. Emery gave up four goals in his only other start this season and would be a backup goaltender on most other teams in the league. The Red Wings will be looking to get back on the winning track after losing to the Bruins and Coyotes. Detroit has managed only eight goals in four games but a quick look at their roster will show you that they have PLENTY of players that can put the puck in the back of the net. It's only a matter of time before Detroit starts scoring. They also have a significant edge in between the pipes in this contest as Jimmy Howard has solidified himself as one of the more reliable goalies in the league. Philadelphia has won just once in their last 18 trips to Detroit. Take the Red Wings. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Detroit Red Wings -167 |

10-08-13 | Colorado Avalanche v. Toronto Maple Leafs -136 | 2-1 | Loss | -136 | 30 h 33 m | Show
Toronto -136
The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. Toronto is coming off a 5-3 shootout win over Ottawa, while Colorado beat Nashville their last time out, 3-1. This game features a pair of undefeated teams, but two squads that got there in very different ways. Toronto has a pair of wins in hostile environments, Montreal and Philadelphia, and a win over rival Ottawa in a shootout after falling behind early. Meanwhile, Colorado rode the momentum of a new head coach Patrick Roy to a pair of opening wins, but now they'll have to take to the road where they won only four times in 24 attempts last season. New addition Mayson Raymond has been a major bright spot for the Buds, posting fou points in his first three games in blue and white. Expect to see Toronto's power play contribute in a big way on this night. They've already cashed in four times in 15 opportunities. The team has gotten a huge boost from a much improved penalty killing unit, which has allowed only one goal in 12 kills this season. For the Avalanche meanwhile, captain Gabriel Landeskog is dealing with a knee injury that kept him out of the team's last game. Semyon Varlamov has been solid between the pipes for the Falcons, but he's faced 63 shots in the team's first two games, and he can't be expected to post an astronomical save percentage forever. The Avalanche are 17-42 in their last 59 road games. Take Toronto. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on Toronto Maple Leafs -136 |

10-07-13 | NY Rangers v. Los Angeles Kings -145 | 3-1 | Loss | -145 | 26 h 5 m | Show
Los Angeles -145
The Los Angeles Kings host the New York Rangers on Monday night. Los Angeles is coming off a 5-3 loss to Winnipeg, while New York fell to Phoenix their last time out, 4-1. It's tough to be too hard on the Kings for their loss to the Jets, considering they went to a shootout the night before in a win over Minnesota. Now the Kings come home for their opener, and they're happy to be there, posting a 40-11 record in their last 51 home games. The Rangers did not look good in their opener. A notorious slow starter, goaltender Henrik Lundqvist had trouble with an unimpressive Phoenix offense. In the end, the Coyotes scored four goals against the Rangers. The Kings have scored three goals in each of their first two games, and those games were on the road, so don't be surprised if they get to Lundqvist in front of what will surely be a raucous home crowd in this one. The home team is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these teams. Take Los Angeles. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Los Angeles Kings -145 |

10-05-13 | Phoenix Coyotes v. San Jose Sharks -151 | 1-4 | Win | 100 | 32 h 55 m | Show
San Jose -151
The San Jose Sharks host the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday night. The Sharks disposed of the Canucks in their season opener, while Radim Vrbata notched a hat trick for the Coyotes as they knocked off the Rangers. We backed the Sharks in their first game of the year and we're going right back to the well. San Jose is the most dominant home team in the league, losing only twice in regulation on home ice last season. The Sharks have now won seven straight at the Shark Tank, including a 5-0 run in the 2013 playoffs. Antti Niemi, who had 21 saves in the opener, is 22-2-4 with a 1.75 goals-against average at home since the beginning of last season. Niemi was even better against Phoenix, as he went 3-0-1 with a 1.20 GAA and two shutouts against the Coyites in 2013. On the other side of things, Phoenix was one of the worst road teams in the league last season. The Coyotes won just seven of their 24 games away from home. Phoenix is a measly 6-13-4 in San Jose since the beginning of the 2006-07 season. The Sharks are 42-17 in their last 59 home games. They're also 15-6 in their last 21 games playing on 1 days rest. This price is VERY reasonable. Take San Jose. Good Luck, Razor Ray 9* Play on San Jose Sharks -151 |

Anaheim +120
The Minnesota Wild play host to the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday evening. Anaheim is coming off of a 6-1 beating at the hands of the Avalanche, while the Wild pulled out a single point in a shootout loss to the Kings on Thursday. This is a great bounce back spot for the Ducks. Anaheim has won four straight games against the Wild and three in a row in Minnesota. Anaheim was also one of the best road teams in the league last season, posting an awesome 14-5-5 record away from the pond. The Wild are expected to start Niklas Backstrom again after he stopped 16 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout defeat to Los Angeles. Backstrom is just 2-3-0 in his last five games against Anaheim. The Wild have also not had much success at home dating back to last year. Minnesota is a paltry 2-8 in their last 10 home games. The Ducks are 5-1 in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest. This game means more to them after getting embarrassed in their first game. Take Anaheim. Good Luck, Razor Ray 7* Play on Anaheim Ducks +120 |

Toronto -133
The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Ottawa Senators in Atlantic Division action on Saturday night. The Leafs are coming off of back-to-back wins over the Habs and Flyers, while the Sens won a tightly contested 1-0 affair in Buffalo on Friday night. The Leafs have been dominant against the Senators in the last few seasons. Toronto has won six of their last seven matchups against Ottawa. More importantly, Toronto's star play, Phil Kessel, has put up an impressive 10 points in that span. The Leafs are expected to go back to netminder James Reimer for this contest. Reimer is 8-1-1 with three shutouts and a 1.69 goals-against average in 10 career starts versus Ottawa. Reimer also stopped 34 shots in the club's season-opening win over Montreal on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ottawa is coming off of a tough, emotional victory on Friday night. Back-to-back spots early in the season aren't as much of a factor as they are later in the year, but they still play a factor. The Maple Leafs are 6-1 in their last 7 Saturday games dating back to last season. Take Toronto. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on Toronto Maple Leafs -133 |

San Jose -130
The San Jose Sharks open up their 2013/14 season at home to the Vancouver Canucks. San Jose is the last team that Vancouver wants to see early on in the season. The Sharks swept the Canucks in last season's playoffs and have won their last seven meetings against Vancouver. It's not as if those wins weren't deserved either as San Jose outshot Vancouver in five of those seven matchups. San Jose also has the luxury of home ice in this matchup, where they lost in regulation only twice in 24 homes games last season. The Sharks were as dominant as it gets at home while Vancouver lost 13 of their 24 matchups away from home. San Jose has one of the deepest lineups in the league and should definitely have the edge in this one. The Canucks are 0-5 in their last 5 road games. They're also 0-6 in their last 6 vs. Western Conference opponetns. Take San Jose. Good Luck, Razor Ray 8* Play on San Jose Sharks -130 |
