The Boston Red Sox will try to climb up to .500 on Tuesday and they'll look to ace Jon Lester to do so.

Lester has dominated the Jays in his career and he is pitching particularly well right now. He has an ERA of 1.33 over his last four outings while going at least six innings each time. Against Toronto, his career ERA is 3.13 with a WHIP of 1.21 while going 8-4.

The Jays aren't hitting very well right now and that should only help Lester's cause. They have lost seven of nine, and have been outscored 24-7 in their last four games. They are batting just .215 as a team this month.

Kyle Drabek has never faced the Red Sox, so that might give him an edge since they haven't seen his stuff. He's also pitching at home, which he hasn't done much of this year, but opponents are batting just .176 against him at home versus .300 when away. We saw similar splits from last year's sample as well, so he's prone to pitch better at the Rogers Centre. Bet the under. 6* play.

The Oakland Athletics and Texas Rangers will send their aces to the mound on Monday night.

Trevor Cahill has been one of the most underrated pitchers this season. He has allowed one earned or less in six of his seven starts this season, including a seven-inning, zero-earned run performance against the very same Rangers on April 29th. He is 7-2 for his career against Texas with an ERA of 2.27 and a WHIP of 1.18.

C.J. Wilson has a career ERA of 2.29 against the Athletics with a WHIP of 1.37.

11 of the last 17 meetings in Texas have stayed under. The under is 6-1 when the A's are on the road with a total of 8 to 8.5 while it's 3-1 when the Rangers are at home with a total of 8 to 8.5. Bet the under. 10* play.

The Boston Red Sox will send Daisuke Matsuzaka to the mound on Sunday and while he has a good track record against the Minnesota Twins, he hasn't been particularly healthy of late. He has been thrown out of rhythm by being used as an emergency reliever this week and having a start pushed back.

Carl Pavano will take to the mound for the Twins and he has a career ERA of 6.09 against the Red Sox. The over is 5-2 in his seven starts against them.

With two so-so pitchers on the mound for this one, bet the over. 7* play.

Two aces are on the mound for Saturday's matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays, but neither has a good track record against their opponents so we'll take a look at the over.

Justin Verlander has a whopping 6.68 ERA against the Blue Jays for his career with a WHIP of 1.48. That's his highest ERA against any American League opponent.

The Jays will counter with Ricky Romero, who is 1-3 with a 4.68 ERA against the Tigers for his career.

The over is 10-3 this year when the Tigers face a team with a losing record and 12-5 in their road games. Bet the over. 10* play.

Roy Halladay has absolutely dominated the Washington Nationals in his career, which is why we'll look for a low-scoring affair on Thursday.

For his career, Halladay has an ERA of 1.93 against Washington with a WHIP of 0.94. His team's records are 11-1 in those starts. He's allowed just nine runs over 59.2 innings pitched during his current eight-game win streak against them. With the Phillies, Halladay has gone 4-0 against the Nats while giving up just three runs in those starts.

His counterpart, John Lannan, isn't great in Philadelphia but the Nats continue to give him poor run support. His team has only scored three runs in his last two starts. He hasn't been too bad overall this season, posting an ERA of 3.78 this year.

The under is 23-8 in the Phillies has 31 home games where the total is set at seven or less. Bet the under. 7* play.

Trevor Cahill and Josh Tomlin have both pitched very well for their respective clubs and on Wednesday, they'll square off against each other.

Cahill, who is 4-0 with a 1.88 ERA, has allowed more than one run just once in his six starts.

Tomlin has been excellent as well, posting a record of 4-0 with an ERA of 2.45 this season. He's allowed two runs or fewer in four of his five starts.

The under has cashed in 11 of the last 16 meetings between the teams. The under is 5-1 in the Indians last seven on the road with a total of seven or less.

It's also worth noting the splits here. The Indians have 93 runs at home, which is the second-most in the majors (6.2 per game) and just 57 on the road (4.38 per game). Bet the under. 10* play.

The Houston Astros pumped out 10 runs on Tuesday night even without slugger Carlos Lee in the lineup and they will aim to win their fourth straight with another good offensive effort on Wednesday.

The Astros will face Travis Wood, who has been getting knocked around recently. Wood has lost his last two home starts while posting an ERA of 17.55 and he's 0-3 with a 8.39 ERA in his last five starts.

The Reds will face Astros rookie Aneury Rodriguez, who is making his 2011 debut.

The over is 9-2 in day games for the Reds and 11-5 when they are at home. It's also 11-5 when the Astros face a division opponent. Bet the over. 9* play.

The Cincinnati Reds pitching staff has been brutal this year as they have a team ERA of 5.28. Meanwhile, their hitting numbers are great with 127 runs and 35 home runs so far this year.

The Reds will face lefty J.A. Happ, who has had his fair share of struggles this year. Happ is 1-4 with a 6.35 ERA on the season and he has a career ERA of 8.18 against the Reds. The over has cashed in all five times that the Reds have faced a lefty this season.

The Astros have been an over team as eight of their 12 road games have gone over as well as 14 of their 21 night games. Bet the over. 8* play.

Cole Hamels has been outstanding since his debut to the 2011 season and he should be able to keep it up on Tuesday.

After getting rocked by the New York Mets in the opener (six runs in 2.2 innings pitched), Hamels has allowed just five earned runs in his last four outings (29 IP). Hamels has a career ERA of 2.73 against the Nationals and the under is 11-7 in those games.

He'll take on Livan Hernandez, who has a career ERA of 3.52 against the Phillies while the under is 15-11 in those games. Since joining the Nationals in 2009, Hernandez is 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA against the Phillies.

The under is 6-2 when the Nats face lefthanded pitching this year and with two good pitchers on the mound, that should improve on Tuesday. Bet the under. 9* play.

Two pitchers that are coming off of rough outings will try to bounce back as the Texas Rangers face the Oakland A's.

Matt Harrison was throttled in his last start against the Toronto Blue Jays but prior to that, had an ERA of 1.88 over his last four starts and has plenty of success against the Athletics. He has a career ERA of 1.36 with a WHIP of 1.20.

Meanwhile, Gio Gonzalez was rocked by the Los Angeles Angels in his last start but he's done well otherwise this year. He started the year 2-0 with a 0.47 ERA. In his last four starts against Texas, he has an ERA of 1.80 while going 2-0. And for his career against Texas, his ERA is 2.27 with a WHIP of 1.29. Bet the under. 8* play.

The Minnesota Twins have definitely been an under team this season as only eight of their of their 24 games have gone over.

On Friday, they'll send Scott Baker to the mound and the under has cashed in 10 of the 15 times he's faced the Kansas City Royals. He has an ERA of 3.44 against them.

The Twins bats are struggling right now as they have collected just six runs in their last three games. The Royals are also laboring as they have lost six straight while scoring just 22 runs in those games.

With both teams having trouble at the plate, bet the under. 8* play.

The Toronto Blue Jays have been cranked out runs at a healthy pace in Texas and we'll look for more of the same on Wednesday.

The Jays have scored 16 runs and produced 21 hits in the first two games of this series. Adam Lind, who started the year quietly, has come to life with two home runs on Tuesday and now has nine home runs in his last 12 games at Texas.

On Wednesday, they'll face Derek Holland, who has given up five runs in each of his last two starts. He is 1-1 with a 11.25 ERA against the Blue Jays.

On the flip side, the Rangers will try to get going against Jo Jo Reyes, who is a so-so pitcher. He has an ERA of 6.20 this season and opponents are batting .329 against him this season. Bet the over. 7* play.

The San Diego Padres have struggled at the plate recently and while they'll face a pitcher in Tommy Hanson that has typically dominated them, there is one x-factor coming into play.

This game will be played during the day, where Hanson has struggled this season. In day games in 2011, Hanson has an ERA of 5.79.

In night games, Hanson is 2-0 while allowing one earned run in 14 innings pitched. In day games, he has allowed 10 runs in 14 innings pitched while allowing opponents to bat .315.

The Braves will face Matt Latos, who is 0-3 with a 5.94 ERA this season. His ERA is 7.22 over his last eight starts.

Chipper Jones (.341) and Brian McCann (.348) have had excellent track records at Petco Park and Latos has given up five home runs in his first three starts. Bet the over. 8* play.

The Toronto Blue Jays will send Jesse Litsch to the mound on Tuesday as he faces a team that he hasn't had much success against.

In two starts against the Texas Rangers, Litsch has posted an ERA of 5.06 with a WHIP of 1.59. The over is 2-0 in those contests.

Meanwhile, Matt Harrison has faced the Blue Jays just once in his career and he has an ERA of 11.50 with a WHIP of 2.75 in that lone start.

The Blue Jays cranked three home runs on Monday night and their bats are cooking, as per usual when they visit Texas. With the Rangers having a good matchup on the mound, they should be able to do their part in the over as well. 8* play.

Tim Lincecum has an excellent track record against the Atlanta Braves and his counterpart, Tim Hudson, hasn't fare so bad against the San Francisco Giants either.

Lincecum has allowed just six runs and only 23 hits while striking out 45 batters in 38 innings over five starts - all wins - versus Atlanta at AT&T Park.

He has a career ERA against them of 2.47 with a WHIP of 1.03. The under is 7-2 in his nine starts.

Meanwhile, Hudson's career ERA is 3.31 against the Giants with a WHIP of 1.16. He has an ERA of 2.40 against them in his last six starts against the Giants. Bet the under. 8* play.

While Felix Hernandez gets the attention as being the ace of the Seattle Mariners rotation, Michael Pineda has been more consistent.

Pineda has struck out 16 batters in 13 innings while opponents are hitting just .197 against him. He has yet to give up a home run in 19.1 innings pitched.

Meanwhile, Tyson Ross, who just fell short of making the cut for the Oakland Athletics rotation. He'll be working hard to make a good impression to stick around. In 2.1 innings pitched against the Mariners, he's struckout two while giving up no runs.

The A's have the best ERA in the majors at 2.52 while their hitting has been suspect (.237), scoring the second-fewest runs in the American League (66).

Yovani Gallardo pitched poorly in his latest outing but he will be the the reason for this under play.

Overall, Gallardo has pitched better at home than on the road this season. in his career against the Astros, he's fared pretty well. He's 7-2 with a career ERA of 3.05 and a WHIP of 1.22. He'll take on Nelson Figueroa, who in his four starts against, has seen three unders in those games.

The under has cashed in five of the last eight Brewers games 19 of the last 29 meetings have gone under. Bet the under. 7* play.

The Kansas City Royals have been getting some good pitching from starter Jeff Francis, who has yet to allow more than three earned runs in a start this season. That trends should continue as the Texas Rangers bats are struggling. Josh Hamilton is out and the Rangers have scored just five runs in their last two games.

Rangers starter Derek Holland has pitched well this season. He was touched up in his latest start against the New York Yankees but prior to that, he had allowed just three earned runs in his first two starts.

The under is 72-43 over the last three years when the Rangers face left-handed pitching. Bet the under. 8* play.

Two stellar pitchers will take to the mound on Thursday afternoon as the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Atlanta Braves.

Clayton Kershaw has an ERA of 2.96 for the Dodgers this season and he continues to alternate quality starts versus bad starts. He's coming off of a bad start, so he should be due for a good one. He has an ERA of 1.98 in two starts against the Braves.

Speaking of Atlanta, their offense has cooled off. They have lost three of four while scoring just a total of five runs in those three losses. Chipper Jones is 1-for-13 in this series while Jason Heyward is 0-for-13 so far.

The Braves will send Jair Jurrjens to the mound, who is coming off a seven-inning zero earned run performance. He has a career ERA of 3.38 against the Dodgers.

The under is 1-7 when the Braves face a team with a winning record this year. Bet the under. 7* play.

The New York Mets offense has been in a funk and considering they are facing the other team with the worst record in the National League, we'll aim for the under.

The Mets have scored just 28 runs in their last nine games while the Astros haven't been a whole lot better.

Mets starter R.A. Dickey pitched well against the Astros in two starts last year, posting an ERA of 1.76 and a WHIP of 1.17.

Bud Norris will take the mound for the Astros and he is coming off an excellent start, where he gave up two hits while striking out seven in six innings of his 1-0 win over San Diego on Thursday.

Six of the last seven meetings in New York have gone under as well as 10 of the last 14 overall. Bet the under 8* play.

The San Francisco Giants are aiming for their first sweep of the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field since 2002 and they'll send Matt Cain to the bump on Wednesday to do the job.

Cain, who is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA this season, has a good track record against the Rockies. He went 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA in four starts last season and 3-0 with a 1.86 ERA in his last four starts at Coors Field dating to 2009.

He's allowed just three runs and 14 hits in 19 innings of work this year.

The Rockies will counter with Jorge De La Rosa, who is 6-1 with a 2.26 ERA in nine starts versus the Giants. The Giants are also likely to be without outfielder Aaron Rowand, who is batting .320. Bet the under. 9* play.

The New York Mets and Houston Astros are two of the lowest scoring teams in the majors. On Tuesday, they'll square off at Citi Field as the Mets try to end an ugly home losing streak.

Wandy Rodriguez will take to the mound against the Mets and while he's struggled this season, he has a good history against the Mets. He's posted a career ERA of 3.22 against them with a WHIP of 1.18. He'll dodge Jason Bay, whose return has been pushed back to Thursday. Bay is 10-for-22 lifetime against Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, the Mets will send Jon Niese to the mound and he has pitched well against the Astros in the past. He is 1-0 in two starts with a 1.29 ERA and a 0.929 WHIP.

Roy Halladay will take to the bump on Tuesday night against Randy Wolf and the Milwaukee Brewers. Halladay is coming off a complete game and now has an ERA of 1.23 on the season.

Wolf has actually fared well against his former team recently, going 2-0 with a 2.41 ERA in three starts in Philadelphia since leaving the team. Phillies slugger Ryan Howard is just 2-for-15 with one home against Wolf.

Wolf is also coming off of a stellar effort where he struckout 10 batters and didn't allow a batter past second base (three hits in total) in 6.2 innings pitched. Bet the under. 7* play.

The Texas Rangers bats have been slumping since Josh Hamilton went onto the disabled list and it might not get better with the Los Angeles Angels visiting.

The Rangers have batted just .227 and scored only 14 runs over their last four games.

Meanwhile, the Angels pitching has done well recently as their starters have posted an ERA of 1.98 over their last five while holding their opponents to just .183 batting. They have allowed just 10 runs. Bet the under. 7* play.

The Chicago White Sox take on the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday and they'll face their ace in David Price.

While Price has an ERA of 4.88 against the White Sox in his career, he might have success against them on Monday. The White Sox are in a slump, losing five of six while having a tough time getting anything going on offense.

The White Sox are batting just .212 over those six games while scoring just six runs.

As for the Rays, they'll go up against Edwin Jackson who has a career ERA of 1.44 and a WHIP of 0.880 against Tampa Bay. The under is 3-0 in his three career starts against them. 8* play.

The Chicago Cubs will send Ryan Dempster to the mound for Sunday's matchup with the Colorado Rockies and while he might look like the better brand name in this series (in comparison to Alan Johnson), the truth is that he has an awful track record at Coors Field.

Dempster is just 1-2 with a 6.30 ERA this season, so it's not like he's pitching particularly well to begin with. Now he'll have to start against the Rockies, whom he has compiled an ERA of 7.71 over his career. What's worse is that he has an ERA of 13.74 in five starts at Coors Field.

The Cubs had a season-high 17 hits on Saturday and will take on career minor-leaguer Alan Johnson on Sunday. Johnson has a career ERA of 4.45 through six minor league seasons.

In Saturday's game, there were 11 runs and that included the Rockies going 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position. Both bullpens worked at least three innings (6.1 in total). Bet the over. 10* play.

The Chicago Cubs will take on the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. These two teams rarely play under at Coors Field but they did on Friday night in a 5-0 win by the Rockies. Overall, six of the last eight meetings in Colorado have gone over the total.

The Cubs will send Casey Coleman to the bump and he is winless with an ERA of 7.20 this season. Coleman gave up four runs and two home runs in his only other start this year, which came last Sunday (6 IP) against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Rockies starter Jason Hammel hasn't fared so well at Coors Field or against the Cubs. At Coors, he has a career ERA of 4.89 and opponents are batting .309 against him. Against the Cubs, he has a career ERA of 5.11, a WHIP of 1.38 and they are batting .340 against him with 17 hits in 12.1 innings pitched. Bet the over. 8* play.

Both the Minnesota Twins and Tampa Bay Rays simply can't get their bats going, which is why both teams have slumped to start the year.

The Twins will be without Joe Mauer on Saturday as they visit the Rays.

Rays starter Jeff Niemann is 2-0 with a 3.26 ERA in three starts versus the Twins and he'll take on Scott Baker, who allowed just one run over 15 innings pitched against the Rays in 2010.

The Twins have averaged just 2.9 runs per game along with a .283 on-base percentage this season. The under is 10-3 overall for the Rays and 6-1 in domed games. Bet the under. 8* play.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will send Daniel Hudson to the mound on Friday night to face Matt Cain of the San Francisco Giants.

Hudson has pitched well this season, allowing just three earned runs in 14 innings pitched but he's received no run support. For his career, he has an ERA of 1.93 with a WHIP of 0.929 against the Giants.

Meanwhile, Cain has dominated the Diamondbacks - especially last year. Last season, Cain struck out 25 Diamondbacks in 23.1 innings pitched while going 2-0 with a 1.16 ERA. His career ERA is 3.28 against them with a respectable 1.13 WHIP. Bet the under. 7* play.

While the Toronto Blue Jays team ERA is 3.07 so far in 2011, one starter that has been shelled has been Brett Cecil.

Cecil has allowed eight runs in 10 innings pitched this season while posting a WHIP of 1.90 in that time. For his career against the Red Sox, Cecil has an ERA of 6.51 with a WHIP of 1.77. The over is 4-1 in those starts.

Clay Buchholz has a better track record against the Blue Jays but he has struggled this season. So far, he is 0-2 while giving up eight earned runs and five home runs in those two starts. Bet the over. 8* play.

Aside from one ugly outing, the Cleveland Indians pitching staff has been stellar this season. In their last 10 outings, they have posted an ERA of 1.88 Justin Masterson has been excellent as he is 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA this season. The under is 3-1 in his career against the Orioles.

His counterpart, Zach Britton, is 2-0 with a 0.66 ERA this season. He has never started against the Indians and he should have an advantage in that regards since they haven't seen him before. Four of the last six meetings in Cleveland have gone under. Bet the under. 7* play.

Two struggling pitchers will take to the mound on Thursday night in a stadium that caters to runs.

New York Yankees starter Phil Hughes has been brutal this season as he has posted an ERA of 16.50 through two starts this season. A bigger concern might be that he only has one strikeout through two outings (6.0 IP) while giving up three home runs in the process.

For his career, he has an ERA of 5.44 against the Baltimore Orioles while the over is 5-1 in his six career starts against them.

Jake Arrieta will take to the bump for the Orioles and he's been one of their few starters to pitch poorly so far this year. He started the year well giving up just one earned run in his first outing (6.0 IP) but he was rocked for eight earned in his last start against Texas. Bet the over. 9* play.

Two studs will be on the mound as the Atlanta Braves and Florida Marlins get together on Wednesday night.

Josh Johnson has been stellar this season as he's given up just three earned runs in two starts this season and he's allowed just three earned runs in his last three versus Atlanta. Meanwhile, Tim Hudson has been excellent as well, allowing three earned runs in two starts this year and just five over his last three versus Florida.

The Braves have just seven runs in their last three while the Marlins have just one in their last two games. Bet the under. 8* play.

The St. Louis Cardinals will send their ace Chris Carpenter to the mound on Tuesday. While he's pitched well, he hasn't received much run support.

The Cards bats have been quiet all season long as they averaged just 2.6 runs per game through their first eight games. The key here is that slugger Albert Pujols has been cold to start the year.

Carpenter is 0-1 with a 2.08 ERA this season and overall, has a 2.58 ERA against the Diamondbacks for his career. Bet the under in this one. 9* play.

The Chicago Cubs will take on the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday and this under play will be about the pitchers.

Yovani Gallardo, an All-Star last year, has been fantastic with the Brewers to start the season. He's coming off a complete game shutout of the Atlanta Braves and he should be able to post a similar effort against the Cubs. For his career, he's 3-1 with a 3.19 ERA against them.

Meanwhile, the Cubs will send Casey Coleman to the mound and in his only start against the Brewers, he posted an ERA of 1.50. Bet the undder. 7* play.

Both the Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics have been having trouble hitting the ball but both lineups have excellent histories against the pitchers that will be on the mound on Saturday night, so we'll look for an over.

Gio Gonzalez will be on the hill for the A's but most of the Twins lineup has a great history against him. Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer, Delmon Young, Denard Span, Michael Cuddyer and Jason Kubel are 16-for-41 combined (.390) against him with five home runs. Gonzalez has an ERA of 10.61 in four career starts against Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Nick Blackburn hasn't fared much better against the A's as he's 0-4 with a 6.64 lifetime ERA against them. Bet the over. 8* play.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox will gather for the first time this season on Friday afternoon in a game that should have plenty of fireworks.

Red Sox starter John Lackey has struggled so far this season and there are some real concerns that he may never be the pitcher he once was with the Los Angeles Angeles.

On the flip side, there have been plenty of concerns regarding Yankees starter Phil Hughes but the issue for his is that his fastball doesn't seem to pick up it's speed until the summer months. It has to do with the weather and until it warms up, he's going to be a threat to take some tough losses on the chin because he's simply not as effective when his fastball is cooking.

Both teams have plenty of weapons to take advantage of the bad pitching, so bet the over. 8* play.

Florida Marlins ace Josh Johnson will take to the hill as the Washington Nationals visit on Thursday and if he pitches like he has in the past against them, there's a good chance this contest will be low scoring.

For his career, Johnson is 7-0 against the Nationals with a 3.36 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. He'll take on left handed pitcher John Lannan, who is coming off a good debut to the 2011 season.

Lannan scattered five hits over five innings while allowing just one run to the Atlanta Braves on Saturday. He's just a steady lefty that should be able to keep the Marlins in check.

The Nats have scored just 14 runs this season (in five games) and their sluggish offense combined with Johnson on the hill should keep this game under. Bet the under. 7* play.

The Baltimore Orioles have done a great job of limiting their opponents scoring in the early part of the season and that can be accredited to their upgraded pitching.

On Wednesday, we'll look for another under as they square off with the Detroit Tigers.

The Tigers will send Justin Verlander to the hill and their ace is 5-0 lifetime against the Orioles with a 2.52 ERA. The O's best at hitter - at least so far this season - Brian Roberts is batting just .158 against Verlander for his career.

The Orioles will throw Brad Bergesen and he has an ERA of 3.86 in three starts against the Tigers. Bet the under. 8* play.

The Milwaukee Brewers are feeling the heat a little bit as they were expected to be National League Central contenders but are in fact still winless in four outings this season.

Yovani Gallardo takes the mound for them on Tuesday night and he should be focused on giving his team a solid effort.

The problem for the Brew Crew has been offense as they have just 12 runs in four games. They might find it even tougher to score against Derek Lowe, who has a career record of 5-1 against the Brewers with an ERA of 3.48.

The under is 3-1 in the four times Gallardo has started against the Braves and we'll look for those trends to continue. Bet the under. 8* play.

The St. Louis Cardinals bats have had a tough time getting going in the early part of the season and we'll look for that to continue on Monday.

Both pitchers are coming off of quality spring training efforts and they might be ahead of the hitting slightly.

When healthy, Kyle Lohse has been excellent for the Cardinals. Last year, he wasn't healthy and he struggled mightily. In spring, he compiled a 1.88 ERA, 15/0 K/BB ratio over 24 innings.

Meanwhile, Charlie Morton had an ERA of 2.63 in spring training. The under is 4-0 in Morton's four starts against the Cardinals. Bet the under in this spot. 9* play.

Pitching has dominated the Baltimore Orioles-Tampa Bay Rays series so far and it's likely to continue on Sunday.

The Rays will send Wade Davis to the mound and he is fresh off a new contract extension. In his first start since signing it, he'll be looking to make a good impression and help his team salvage at least one of the three games in the series.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox will put John Lackey on the mound, who has a much deeper history against the Rangers from his days back when he was in the AL West with the Los Angeles Angels.

Lackey's career ERA versus Texas sits at 5.74 with a WHIP of 1.56. That's in 33 starts, so it's a large sample.

Meanwhile, the Tigers will trot out Brad Penny to the mound who is nothing more than an No 4 or 5 starter these days. While he had an ERA of 3.23 in nine starts in 2010, his ERA was well over 5.00 in the previous two seasons. He has a career 4.61 ERA against the Yankees while Burnett's lifetime ERA versus Detroit is 7.34. Bet the over. 9* play.

The Toronto Blue Jays will host the Minnesota Twins in their season openers on Friday night in what should be an entertaining game.

The Jays should have a big crowd at the Rogers Centre and it will surely be one of the few times this season that that is the case. They'll want to put on a show for their fans to try to bring them back for more.
