11-16-19 | Raptors v. Mavs -3.5 | 102-110 | Win | 100 | 10 h 44 m | Show
Toronto at Dallas 8:30 ET Mavericks (-) over Raptors- Dallas dropped the final two legs of their 3-game road trip finishing their trip losing at lowly New York. Toronto has won the last three in the series and seven of eight meetings and yet the NBA Champions are just 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings but this is the first time since February 2015 that the Mavericks have been favored. Dallas is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and get it done again. Take the MAVERICKS! |
11-16-19 | Bucks v. Pacers +7 | 102-83 | Loss | -104 | 8 h 18 m | Show
Milwaukee at Indiana 7:00 ET Pacers (+) over Bucks- This is the second of back-to-back games for Indiana losing at Houston last night but I don't believe that any of their player is taking the night off as 'work load' management. The key factor here of course is Giannis Antetokounmpo who has 30 or more points and 10 or more rebounds in six straight games. The Bucks will be without second leading scorer Khris Middleton and are 1-4 ATS in their last five trips to Indiana. Take the PACERS! |
11-16-19 | Nets v. Bulls -2 | 117-111 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 9 m | Show
Brooklyn at Chicago 6:00 ET Bulls (-) over Nets- I smell a rat! Brooklyn who showed vast improvement last season when out and signed 'Super-star' Kyrie Irving and not only is the world flat but the Nets have been flat this season winning just four of their first 11 games. They are 1-5 SU on the road and 2-4 ATS and 0-7 ATS in their last seven vs. Eastern Conference. Chicago on then other hand is 1-7 ATS vs. the Atlantic. This is the first time that the Bulls have been favored in this series in the past eight games. Take the BULLS! |
11-15-19 | Celtics v. Warriors +7.5 | 105-100 | Win | 100 | 11 h 52 m | Show
Boston at Golden State 10:30 ET Warriors (+) over Celtics- Well, this is something I haven't envisioned and that is the Warriors almost a double-digit underdog at home. With their roster depleted Golden State has fallen into an abyss and have won just two of 12 games and are 1-5 SU and ATS at home. Since dropping their opening game against the Sixers the Celtics have won nine straight going 7-1-1 ATS. Boston who is 6-0 ATS in their last six trips to but will have D'Angelo Russell and forward Draymond Green return. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
11-15-19 | Pacers +5.5 v. Rockets | 102-111 | Loss | -101 | 8 h 21 m | Show
Indiana at Houston 8:00 ET Pacers (+) over Rockets- Coming off of their win over the LA Clippers (Megabucks winner) Houston is patting themselves on the back for their 'defensive' effort holding the Clips to 93 points (their defensive low for the season). The Rockets have seven wins against teams with a combined 18-46 record and now they play a team with a winning record for just the second time. Following an 0-3 start Indiana has won seven of eight and gets the cash here. Take the PACERS! |
11-15-19 | 76ers v. Thunder +4 | Top | 119-127 | Win | 100 | 8 h 27 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Thunder (+) over 76ers- OKC has gone through a number of changes this season and although they are just 4-7 SU they have a winning ATS record and are 4-3 both SU and ATS at home. Philadelphia after a quick start has dropped four of their last six while the Thunder have dropped this last two. OKC is 6-1 ATS after a loss and are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings against the Sixers. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
11-14-19 | Mavs v. Knicks +7.5 | 103-106 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show
Dallas at New York 8:00 ET Knicks (+) over Mavericks- Of course the storyline here is the return to MSG for their former prize first round pick Kristaps Porzingis who was jettisoned to Dallas after three years with New York. The Knicks at 2-9 have matched their worst start in franchise history and had to hold a press conference just to quell reports that coach David Fitzdale is about to be fired so early into his tenure. It was just six days ago that the Knicks upset the Mavericks in Dallas and I expect most to believe that the line of thought here is that they will seek revenge. But, New York who lost their last two since that win by 39 points knows that they can beat this club again and they just might do it. Take NEW YORK! |
11-14-19 | Clippers v. Pelicans +4.5 | Top | 127-132 | Win | 100 | 8 h 8 m | Show |
L.A. Clippers at New Orleans 8:00 ET Pelicans (+) over Clippers- Los Angeles is looking forward to the debut of Paul George Thursday as he returns to play after having surgery on bothy shoulders who can help fill the void left by slacker Kawhi Leonard who is on vacation tonight due to back-to-back games for the Clippers. New Orleans has been hit with injuries that can be used as an excuse for their 2-8 SU record. Surprisingly enough the Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and will get the money here as the Clippers struggle with chemistry with George's return. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-14-19 | Heat v. Cavs +4.5 | Top | 108-97 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 11 m | Show |
Miami at Cleveland 6:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Heat- Underrated Miami is 7-3 SU and off to their best start since LeBron James' departure and are doing it with a skeleton crew as numerous players are down or out because of injuries and suspensions. This is supposed to be another rebuilding year for Cleveland and they are just 4-6 but they are a more than respectable 6-3-1 ATS while the Heat are 7-3 ATS. New Cavaliers coach John Beilein has his young squad mixed with a few veterans playing together and they are 3-0 ATS in their last three games as well as 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Cleveland. Take the CAVALIERS! |
11-13-19 | Spurs +2 v. Wolves | 114-129 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 37 m | Show
San Antonio at Minnesota 8:00 ET Spurs (+) over Timberwolves- Out of the character we are used to seeing the Spurs have dropped four of their last five and are a miserable 2-8 ATS after 10 games. Coach Gregg Popovich removed his starters five minutes into their loss Saturday against the Celtics and is looking to jump start their offense after losing back-to-back home games. San Antonio is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and are 7-2 ATS in Minnesota. Take the SPURS! |
11-12-19 | Blazers v. Kings +2 | Top | 99-107 | Win | 100 | 10 h 19 m | Show |
Portland at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Trailblazers- Let me start my saying there has got to be something different about this Portland club this season and the Vegas 'number' are proving my point daily with the lines in their games. Here is Sacramento who lost their first five games including a loss to these Trailblazers 122-112 but have now won 3-of-4. Portland has won six of the last seven meetings going 5-1-1 ATS and I believe with those stats that this is a 'suckers' price. Another factor, beside Marvin Bradley III being out with injury the Kings lost starting point guard De'Aaron Fox on Monday due to an ankle sprain and yet this price seem way low to me. Take SACRAMENTO! |
11-12-19 | Lakers v. Suns +2.5 | 123-115 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 24 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at Phoenix 9:00 ET Suns (+) over Lakers- There will a contrast to styles tonight in this matchup as the free wheeling and long ball shooting of the Suns will be juxtaposed Lakers set-up and deliberate offense led by point guard LeBron James. Phoenix has had a dramatic turn around this season not only wining six of their nine games outright but they are the best ATS ream in the NBA going 8-1 ATS on the year. Los Angeles may be without power forward Anthony Davis (shoulder) which will hurt along with the possible return of Rajon Rondo who won't be much help. Although the Lakers won 4-of-5 meetings last season but this is a much improved Suns' squad. Take PHOENIX! |
11-12-19 | Pistons +8 v. Heat | 108-117 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 38 m | Show
Detroit at Miami 7:30 ET Pistons (+) over Heat- Miami who I believe is a bit under-rated are 3-0 both SU and ATS at home and a money making 6-2-1 ATS on the season. Detroit has had a rash of injuries including power forward Blake Griffin, guards Derrick Rose, Reggie Jackson and shooting guard Tim Frazier. Griffin returned last night and Rose is to return tonight. The Pistons are 1-4 SU and 1-3-1 ATS on the road and tonight they surprise Miami. Take the PISTONS! |
11-11-19 | Raptors v. Clippers -9.5 | Top | 88-98 | Win | 100 | 10 h 54 m | Show |
Toronto at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET Clippers (-) over Raptors- So, this is a bit different, the reigning NBA Champions the Toronto Raptors are a double-digit (for the most part) underdog on the road tonight. Of course this is because of the plus and minus that these two clubs have experienced in the off-season when Kawhi Leonard moved from the 'Great North' to sunny Los Angeles. The Raptors have actually played well without Leonard going 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS to date and have been favored in every meeting (7) since 2015. But, the tide has turned with the off-season move and the Clippers are a huge favorite here and get the cash. Take LOS ANGELES! |
11-09-19 | Rockets v. Bulls +6.5 | 117-94 | Loss | -107 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Houston at Chicago 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Astros- Houston without question in my mind is the biggest hoax in the NBA. Now, that they acquired triple-double machine Russell Westbrook added to James Harden they have an offense that can score at a prolific rate. The problem is that the Rockets only play one end of the floor as witnessed by their allowing 121.8 points per game actually being out-scored by their opponents despite having a winning record. The Bulls don't shoot the ball all that well but do play some defense. Houston is 2-6 ATS tis season and might win but and stay under the number here. Take CHICAGO! |
11-09-19 | Mavs v. Grizzlies +3 | Top | 138-122 | Loss | -103 | 9 h 59 m | Show |
Dallas at Memphis 8:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Mavericks- Dallas who just lost to the lowly New York Knicks at home last night take their perfect 3-0 road record to Memphis to play the Grizzlies (2-6) another bottom feeder. This brings the Mavericks record to 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 road games. Last season the Grizzlies took the first three meetings until the fourth matchup when Dallas posted a win and are 4-1 ATS in their last five at Dallas. Memphis rookie No. 2 draft pick Ja Morant is off of a season low eight points in a game where his backcourt partner Dillon Brooks failed to make a field goal at Orlando last night. At home things get better. Take MEMPHIS! |
11-08-19 | Bucks v. Jazz +3 | 100-103 | Win | 100 | 10 h 37 m | Show
Milwaukee at Utah 9:05 ET Jazz (+) over Bucks- MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has been even more dominating this season than last having posted eight straight double-doubles leading the Bucks to four straight wins after a 2-2 start. Utah has always been a formidable foe for Milwaukee going 25-8 ATS in the last 33 meetings including 15-2 in Salt Lake City. Utah's clamp down defense will once again be the difference, they play it better and are 4-0 SU at home this season. Play the JAZZ! |
11-08-19 | 76ers v. Nuggets -5 | Top | 97-100 | Loss | -103 | 10 h 50 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Denver 9:00 ET Nuggets (-) over 76ers- The 76ers are playing their fourth straight road game on the western tour having lost their last two at Phoenix and Utah after defeating Portland. In two of those contests Joel Embiid served his two-game suspension and he is back while Ben Simmons is lost to a shoulder sprain. Denver took down the Sixers at home last season 126-110 as Nikola Jokic posted 32 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists. Too much for Philly to overcome. Take DENVER! |
11-08-19 | Raptors v. Pelicans +2.5 | 122-104 | Loss | -101 | 9 h 45 m | Show
Toronto at New Orleans 8:05 ET Pelicans (+) over Raptors-The defending NBA champion Raptors have moved-on from the defection of Kawhi Leonard and are 5-2 on the season while New Orleans who also lost a key performer (Anthony Davis) has yet to regroup and are 1-6 this season. Toronto is 4-0 at home but has dominated this series on the road going an amazing 15-2 ATS in their last 17 trips to New Orleans. So, with this information I feel this line is way low and looks like an inducement to lay the points. Considering the Pelicans are last in defense allowing an NBA worst 124.3 points per game and commit 16,7 turnovers a game. So, why so a small dog...Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-07-19 | Heat +1 v. Suns | 124-108 | Win | 100 | 10 h 59 m | Show
Miami at Phoenix 9:00 ET Heats (+) over Suns- The Suns are hot and the Heat are on the burner. Phoenix has won three straight and are 7-0 ATS on the season. I predict that they won't go undefeated ATS this season and their first ATS loss comes tonight. Miami has won 16 of the last 18 meeting straight-up and are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Phoenix and 20-6 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall. The Heat as expected fell to the Nuggets in Denver after crushing the Rockets in Miami. Look for a Heat rebound and a win here. Take MIAMI! |
11-07-19 | Thunder +5 v. Spurs | 112-121 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 33 m | Show
Oklahoma City at San Antonio 8:30 ET Thunder (+) over Spurs- Neither of these squads look anything like clubs of the past as both sides have had radical changes to their roster. Gone for OKC is Russell Westbrook and he's been replaced by veteran Chris Paul at the point and coach Billy Donovan says he sees better balance this season. The Spurs who have dominated this series in the past 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings including 5-0 ATS at home. San Antonio once had pride in their defense but have yet to hold an opponent under 100 points and they are 26th in steals. Take the THUNDER! |
11-07-19 | Celtics v. Hornets +7.5 | Top | 108-87 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 7 m | Show |
Boston at Charlotte 8:00 ET Hornets (+) over Celtics- I can say one thing about fading the Celtics, I don't think it's going to be a good idea in the long run. With the addition of Kemba Walker and the revitalization of Gordon Hayward Boston is once again a formidable force in the East. Since dropping their opener to the 76ers the Celtics have reeled off five straight wins while Charlotte has won their last three and has 'covered' their last four. Boston is 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings but the home team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings. Take CHARLOTTE! |
11-06-19 | Bucks v. Clippers +5.5 | 129-124 | Win | 100 | 10 h 15 m | Show
Milwaukee at L.A. Clippers 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Bucks- Well, here we go with the NBA 'resting' star players (Kawhi Leonard) in what should be considered a 'big' game among a pair of contenders. Both the Clippers and Bucks are considered favorites in their respective conferences and just right games into the season Los Angeles has deiced to 'rest' Leonard for the second time this season. With the reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo ready to play against the Finals MVP but alas there will be no matchup. LA has won 10 of the last 14 meetings including 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings (Playoffs) and 11-5-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings, most before Leonard arrived. Take CLIPPERS! |
11-06-19 | Bulls +2.5 v. Hawks | Top | 113-93 | Win | 100 | 8 h 51 m | Show |
Chicago at Atlanta 7:30 ET Bulls (+) over Hawks- Chicago had a 17-point halftime lead against the Lakers last night and managed to gang on for the 'cover' by a half-point after getting outscored 38-19 in the final period. Tonight the Bulls travel to Atlanta where the Hawks outscored San Antonio 38-22 in the final period posting a 108-100 win as Trae Young scored 28 of his 29 points in the second half. Series wise Chicago is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings including 4-0 ATS in their last four visits to Atlanta. Line is way low...take the BULLS! |
11-06-19 | Knicks +4.5 v. Pistons | 102-122 | Loss | -107 | 7 h 11 m | Show
New York at Detroit 7:00 ET Knicks (+) over Pistons- Can it get any worse in New York? The MSG fans are already calling for coach David Fizdale's head as the Knicks have won just one of seven. Detroit is a banged up crew that is awaiting the season debut of Blake Griffin while Derrick Rose and Reggie Jackson are sidelined. The Pistons have won seven straight meetings including six straight at home. The guards might return soon but what kind of playing shape will they be in. Take NEW YORK! |
11-05-19 | Magic +2.5 v. Thunder | 94-102 | Loss | -102 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Orlando at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Magic (+) over Thunder- Both of these clubs are at 2-4 SU but bet and money wise the Thunder are 4-2 ATS while Orlando is just 1-4-1 ATS this season including 0-2 SU and ATS on the road. OKC has defeated the Magic 14 of their last 16 meetings but the Magic are 6-1 meetings in Oklahoma City and 10-4 ATS in the last 14 overall. Thunder coach Billy Donovan is having to deal with injury, illness and players getting into foul trouble early and has had to use makeshift lineup. Take the MAGIC! |
11-05-19 | Lakers v. Bulls +7.5 | 118-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 6 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at Chicago 8:00 ET Bulls (+) over Lakers- After an opening game loss to the Clippers the Lakers have reeled off five straight wins going 5-0 ATS. Los Angeles are bad a year as they had were 2-0 against the Bulls last season and are 4-0-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Chicago right now is the worst shooting team in the league and are just 6-20 ATS in their last 26 home games. But, LA is just 9-25-1 ATS in their 35 games against the East. Take CHICAGO! |
11-05-19 | Celtics v. Cavs +6.5 | Top | 119-113 | Win | 100 | 8 h 16 m | Show |
Boston at Cleveland 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Celtics- Boston has run off four straight win since an opening season loss Philadelphia with Kemba Walker and the return to form by Gordon Hayward and play of Jason Tatum. The Cavaliers may be a bit underrated this season with a healthy Kevin Love and Christian Thompson along with a pair of dynamic guards in Darius Garland and Collin Sexton could surprise some this season. Hopefully that surprise continues tonight. The Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings as hosts and the home team is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-04-19 | Pelicans +4 v. Nets | 125-135 | Loss | -105 | 6 h 19 m | Show
New Orleans at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Pelicans (+) over Nets- Ya know sumthin...this just ain’t right! Would you think as I do, that Brooklyn with their added off season firepower (Kyrie Irving and such) that they should be a stronger favorite over the decimated Pelicans. New Orleans who gutted their squad trading away Anthony Davis and then drafted Zion Williamson who blew out another sneaker and is out for two months. So this 1-5 club with the worst record in the NBA is such a small underdog makes me wonder. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
11-03-19 | Jazz +4.5 v. Clippers | 94-105 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 24 m | Show
Utah at L.A. Clippers 9:00 ET Jazz (+) over Clippers- Los Angeles with Kawhi Leonard added to the mix is expected to contend fo the NBA title this season and is off to a 3-0 start at home going 2-1 ATS. Utah will be an obstacle the Clippers must overcome as they have already lost to the Jazz in Salt Lake bowing 110-96 and have struggled in this series. The Jazz are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings and 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings in Los Angeles. Add that the Clippers are 1-6 ATS after a SU win. Take UTAH! |
11-03-19 | Mavs v. Cavs +5.5 | Top | 131-111 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 59 m | Show |
Dallas at Cleveland 7:30 ET Cavaliers (+) over Mavericks- Although they blew a 10-point lead against the Lakers last time out the Mavericks are a much improved team this season with Kristaps Porzingis joining future super-star Luka Doncic who posted his second triple-double of the season in that overtime loss. Now, Dallas takes to the road where they will try and win their third straight without a loss. Cleveland is 2-0 both SU and ATS at home and veteran All-star Kevin Love has had five straight double-doubles to start the season. Take CLEVELAND! |
11-03-19 | Bulls +2.5 v. Pacers | 95-108 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 13 m | Show
Chicago at Indiana 5:00 ET Bulls (+) over Pacers- A match of also rans that have already started to play out the string. Indiana opened the year with three straight losses but have rebounded by winning their last two. A pair of wins is enough for these guys (Pacers) although Indiana has had the best of the Bulls when playing as hosts winning nine of the last 12 as hosts but Chicago has taken five of the last seven ATS. Take CHICAGO! |
11-02-19 | 76ers +2 v. Blazers | 129-128 | Win | 100 | 11 h 9 m | Show
Philadelphia at Portland 10:00 ET 76ers (+) over Trailblazers- Take a step back and get a good look at this match-up between two of the NBA's better clubs. But, the point is here is Portland coming off of a four-game road trip where they 'covered' every outing, and now they return home against the undefeated 76ers who will be without their best player Joel Embiid. No Embiid, no problem for Philadelphia. They are used to playing without him and the line reflects the Sixers overall strength and seems to short-hand the Blazers at home. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
11-02-19 | Suns v. Grizzlies +3.5 | 114-105 | Loss | -115 | 9 h 11 m | Show
Phoenix at Memphis 8:00 ET Grizzlies (+) over Suns- Phoenix has opened the season with five straight point spread wins and are 3-2 straight up and that is without center Deandre Ayton who is on a drug suspension. The Suns are off of a huge win (in their eyes) over Golden State while the Grizzlies have had three days to recover from their 120-91 loss to the Lakers. Take MEMPHIS! |
11-02-19 | Nets v. Pistons +2 | Top | 109-113 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
Brooklyn at Detroit 7:00 ET Pistons (+) over Nets- The Pistons opened the season with a road win against Indiana but have dropped four of five since with that lone win coming once against over the Pacers. Detroit is a little 'banged' up still have Andre Drummond who has had six straight triple-doubles and and three 20-20 games along with a reborn Derrick Rose. This is a bit of a time and place selection as the Nets took down the Lakers in Brooklyn last night while the Piston return home after a loss at Chicago. Take DETROIT! |
11-01-19 | Lakers v. Mavs +2 | 119-110 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 17 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at Dallas 9:30 ET Mavericks (+) over Lakers- After an opening game loss to the Clippers the Lakers have responded with three straight home wins and covers. With LeBron James at the 'point' the Lakers newly acquired Anthony Davis could emerge as the most dominating player in the NBA as evidenced in his last performance of 40 points and 20 rebounds. Tonight, the Mavericks will present a formidable front line with Luka Donic and Kristaps Porzingis who will play a more physical brand of ball. The Lakers have won the last five meetings between the two including all three last year. Tonight that ends...take DALLAS! |
11-01-19 | Rockets v. Nets +4.5 | Top | 116-123 | Win | 100 | 8 h 9 m | Show |
Houston at Brooklyn 7:00 ET Nets (+) over Rockets- Well, something has to give here as both these clubs are 0-4 ATS while Houston is 3-1 SU and the Nets 1-3. Major additions to each club has changed to face of these clubs as Russell Westbrook was added to the Rockets and Brooklyn added Kyrie Irving and of course Kevin Durant who isn't expected to play this season. Houston is coming off of one of the highest scoring games in NBA history defeating the Wizards 159-158 in regulation no less. The Nets are hungrier than the Rockets and get the win here and are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings. Take BROOKLYN! |
11-01-19 | Bucks v. Magic +4.5 | 123-91 | Loss | -109 | 8 h 54 m | Show
Milwaukee at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Bucks- Milwaukee who may have the league's best talent in Giannis Antetokounmpo and after last season they will have a target on their back. Orlando's offense is run through their All-star center Nikola Vucevic who averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds last season. Even though the Bucks have won seven of the last 10 meetings they are just 4-9-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Orlando. Take the MAGIC! |
10-31-19 | Nuggets v. Pelicans +4 | 107-122 | Win | 100 | 11 h 19 m | Show
Denver at New Orleans 9:30 ET Pelicans (+) over Nuggets- Thoughts of becoming a playoffs team for New Orleans were dashed when No. 1 overall draft pick Zion Williamson when down and a team that traded away their biggest assets now has very little firepower. The Pelicans have yet to win a game and at 0-4 they allow the most points 128.3 per game while Denver's coach Michael Malone is upset with Denver's defense. Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry wants to establish a home court advantage and it must start here. Take NEW ORLEANS! |
10-30-19 | Clippers v. Jazz -2.5 | 96-110 | Win | 100 | 11 h 43 m | Show
L.A. Clippers at Utah 10:00 ET Jazz (+) over Clippers- The Clippers are out to show the rest of the league that they are for real and I'm beginning to believe them. Los Angeles went impressive starting the season with a pair of wins and covers against the Lakers and at Golden State, but have split their last two SU and gone 0-2 ATS losing at Phoenix and taking down Charlotte by 15 as a 15.5-point favorite. Utah has is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and is 2-0 SU at home this season. The Jazz are the leading defensive team in the league and allow just 88 points per game at home. Take UTAH! |
10-30-19 | Blazers v. Thunder +1.5 | 102-99 | Loss | -104 | 9 h 58 m | Show
Portland at Oklahoma City 8:00 ET Thunder (+) over Trailblazers- Last season these two great guard matchups as thee Thunder's Russell Westbrook and Paul George would pair up against Portland's Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. The Trailblazers are 2-1 SU and 3-0 ATS on the road as this is their four game in five away from home and OKC plays five of six at home and has proved capable defeating Golden State 120-92 at home. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
10-30-19 | Bucks v. Celtics +3 | Top | 105-116 | Win | 100 | 9 h 44 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Boston 7:30 ET Celtics (+) over Bucks- These two may end up battling each other in the Eastern Conference Finals but as of right now Milwaukee have the bragging rights. The Bucks have been a bully in this series of late going 4-0 ATS in the four meetings but the Celtics had taken four of the previous five meetings. But it was Milwaukee that ousted Boston from the playoffs last year. Of late the Bucks are 0-5 ATS against teams with winning records and are 0-4 against the NBA Atlantic and surrender 118 points per game while Boston holds opponents to 102.7 and they will play defense at home. 10-30-19 | Pacers +3.5 v. Nets | 118-108 | Win | 100 | 8 h 58 m | Show
Indiana at Brooklyn 7:30 ET Pacers (+) over Nets- Indiana has opened the season 0-3 but their losing streak goes back further that that as they have lost seven straight and nine of 10 and are the only winless team in the East. Brooklyn may have Kyrie Irving and he is great but they are becoming aware that he brings plenty of baggage with him. He proved difficult in China ignoring team functions and he has been the focal point of two one-point overtime losses. The Pacers won two-of-three matchups last season including a 114-106 win at Brooklyn. Take INDIANA! |
10-30-19 | Bulls v. Cavs +2.5 | Top | 111-117 | Win | 100 | 8 h 10 m | Show |
Chicago at Cleveland 7:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Bulls- Chicago opened the season with their bags packed and tonight they are playing their fourth game in five on the road winning once at Memphis. Cleveland is 1-2 SU but 2-1 ATS with their win in their lone home game over Indiana as a 4.5-point dog. The Bulls have dominated the series going 28-10 ATS in the last 38 meetings including 20-6 ATS at Cleveland. But, faces have changed and this version of the Bulls is like the gang that 'couldn't shoot straight.' Chicago is last in 3-point shooting an are 26th in overall shooting percentage. Tristan Thompson is healthy after battling injuries the past two seasons has been impressive (19 pts, 12.3 rebound and Kevin Love has 15.7 points and 15.7 rebounds a game. Take CLEVELAND! |
10-29-19 | Hawks +8 v. Heat | Top | 97-112 | Loss | -100 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Atlanta at Miami 7:30 ET Heat (-) over Hawks- Interesting match-up here as the 2-1 Hawks fly to Miami after a tough 105-103 home loss to the 76ers. The Heat who are 2-1 are expecting the debut of Jimmy Butler who once again is having problems getting on the playing floor missing the first three games because of a birth of a daughter. Miami has averaged 120 in his absence and it can only be a plus (hopefully) with his finally getting playing time. With, Butler ready to play there is always the chance some of the Hawks will be 'rested' in the second of their back-to-back games. Take MIAMI! |
10-28-19 | Nuggets v. Kings +6 | 101-94 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 0 m | Show
Denver at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Nuggets- I really expected to be 'on' the Kings this season but not this way. Without Marvin Bagley Sacramento is 0-3 he won't return until after Christmas. Denver took all three meetings last year and have won eight of nine in the series. The Kings had just two players score in double figures in their 113-81 loss at Utah Saturday with center Dewayne Dedmon's 11 points being the team high. In that game coach Luke Walton pulled all his starters in the second quarter as it was a second game in back-to-back games. Take SACRAMENTO! |
10-28-19 | 76ers v. Hawks +5 | 105-103 | Win | 100 | 8 h 36 m | Show
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:30 ET Hawks (+) over 76ers- Oh boy, so two games into the season Trae Young declares 'That's what makes big-time players what they are' after his performance against Orlando Sunday. Philadelphia like the Hawks are 2-0 on the season and will be bringing a pair of former Atlanta teammates in All-star Al Horford and Mike Scott. Meanwhile, the 76ers erased an 13-point Piston lead Saturday night with Joel Embiid sidelined. The Hawks had great success against the Sixers last season winning three of four. They turn the trick again here. Take ATLANTA! |
10-28-19 | Magic +5 v. Raptors | Top | 95-104 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 41 m | Show |
Orlando at Toronto 7:30 ET Magic (+) over Raptors- To start with I was a little surprised that Orlando was favored Saturday night at Atlanta and expected better from them as they fell to Trae Young and the Hawks going just 5-31 from 3-point range. Toronto put on a defensive clinic against the Bulls holding them to just 84 points posting their second victory of the season after their loss at Boston. These two met in the first-round of the NBA Playoffs least season the Raptors winning four straight after dropping the opener after splitting four regular season games. I expect the Magic to shoot better tonight. Take ORLANDO! |
10-27-19 | Warriors v. Thunder +1.5 | Top | 92-120 | Win | 100 | 5 h 32 m | Show |
Golden State at Oklahoma City 3:30 ET Thunder (+) over Warriors- I don't know if you saw it, I did. I watched the Warriors opening game a home loss to the LA Clippers 141-122 and what I learned is that Golden State's run of making it to five straight NBA Finals in done. OKC is 0-2 and no longer have Russell Westbrook or Paul George and without their firepower they dropped a 97-85 decision at home against the lowly Wizards. Playing at home helps where the Thunder are 5-1 ATS after a home loss while the Warriors are 0-7 ATS against teams with losing records. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
10-26-19 | Pacers v. Cavs +5.5 | 99-110 | Win | 100 | 8 h 53 m | Show
Indiana at Cleveland 8:00 ET Cavaliers (+) over Pacers- Cleveland is far removed from their LeBron days and have brought in John Beilein formerly of Michigan to serve as head coach and he inherited veterans Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson and future start Collin Sexton. Indiana has make huge changes adding T.J. Warren, Malcolm Brogdon and Jeremy Lamb none of which can pick up the void created with Oladipo's injury. Take CAVALIERS! |
10-26-19 | Celtics v. Knicks +6 | 118-95 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 22 m | Show
Boston at New York 7:30 ET Knicks (+) over Celtics- New York as expected is 0-2 to start the season but they are undefeated (2-0) ATS and will play their home opener tonight against the fading Celtics. The Knicks blew fourth quarter leads in both of their losses to San Antonio and Brooklyn. Boston opened at Philadelphia and show some shortcomings but managed to take down the Raptors 112-106 in their home openers last night. This is the first back-to-back games on the season for the Celtics and it will show. Take NEW YORK! |
10-26-19 | 76ers v. Pistons +4.5 | Top | 117-111 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 1 m | Show |
Philadelphia at Detroit 7:00 ET Pistons (+) over 76ers- This should end up a battle of 'big men' as the 76ers bring not only Joel Embiid to the fore court but he now has Al Horford for support. The Pistons will counter with Andre Drummond who can be dominating against lesser centers. Detroit opened the season with back-to-back games winning at Indiana and then losing at home. Although, the Sixers are 1-7 ATS in their last eight meetings and 0-6 ATS in their last six home games (dating back to last year obviously) they will come up big here. Take the PISTONS! |
10-25-19 | Blazers v. Kings +2.5 | 122-112 | Loss | -102 | 11 h 12 m | Show
Portland at Sacramento 10:00 ET Kings (+) over Trailblazers- Portland went down in their home opener for the first time in 19 years when the Nuggets took them down 108-100. Sacramento was expected to move up the NBA ladder this season with all their young talent developing into stars. Now, after their first game at Phoenix the Kings get the news that Marvin Bagley III suffered a broken right thumb and will be out for at least four weeks and that has been coupled with Buddy Hield (left ankle) and De'Aaron Fox (left ankle) at not at full strength. Both say that they will play and are ready for their home opener. Take SACRAMENTO! |
10-24-19 | Clippers v. Warriors +2 | 141-122 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 46 m | Show
L.A. Clippers and Golden State 10:30 ET Warriors (+) over Clippers- Huge roster changes on these two clubs have taken place since these combatants last saw each other in the 2019 NBA playoffs. Golden State of course will be without superstars Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson along with former Finals MVP Andre Iguodada but, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green return. The Clippers as we are all aware have added Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who is not active as of yet. LA is coming off of there opening night win over their inter-city rival Lakers and won't be taken for granted here. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
10-23-19 | Nuggets +1 v. Blazers | 108-100 | Win | 100 | 11 h 46 m | Show
Denver at Portland 10:05 ET Nuggets (+) over Trailblazers- Can a team be thinking of revenge in the season's opening game because if so the Nuggets have some incentive. Portland ended Denver's quest for the NBA title last season by taking them down 100-96 in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals. Portland of course will be without center Jusuf Nurkic out with a broken leg and he has been replaced for now by Hassan Whiteside. The Nuggets have won six of the last regular season meetings and are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Portland. Take DENVER! |
10-23-19 | Kings v. Suns +2 | 95-124 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show
Sacramento at Phoenix 10:00 ET Suns (+) over Kings- Last season the Kings began to make a move to respectability last season winning 39 games while Phoenix continued their stay in the basement trailing their closest rival in the West by 14 games. Sacramento hired Luke Walton as head coach while Phoenix hired Monty Williams to lead the likes of Devin Booker, Ricky Rubio and Deandre Ayton. I would have expected the Kings to be stronger favorites as this opening 'line' is lower than any game between these two in three years and I believe it's telling. Take PHOENIX! |
10-23-19 | Knicks +10 v. Spurs | 111-120 | Win | 100 | 9 h 58 m | Show
New York at San Antonio 8:30 ET Knicks (+) over Spurs- New York was the worst team in the NBA last season winning just 17 games and were a total failure in the off-season free agent market missing out on their goals of signing Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant or Kawhi Leonard. San Antonio has made the playoffs 22 straight seasons while the Knicks have been there just twice in the last 20 years. An underlying thread to this game is the Marcus Morris who backed out of a contract with the Spurs and chose the Knicks (go figure) and left San Antonio hanging. There is so little respect for the young Knicks that they have so much to prove and will come out with a huge effort. Take NEW YORK! |
10-22-19 | Lakers v. Clippers +4 | 102-112 | Win | 100 | 11 h 9 m | Show
L.A. Lakers at L.A. Clippers 10:35 ET Clippers (+) over Lakers- Wow, what a way to start the season! Both these clubs made dramatic moves in the off season with Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard joining the Clippers and Anthony Davis pairing up with the Lakers and LeBron James with the Lakers. To tell the truth (I always do!) I was surprised that the Lakers opened as the favorite after their performance last season taking the James injury taken into consideration and the media's off season adoration for the Clippers. Paul George won't make his debut for the Clippers until November while the Lakers will have Dwight Howard in the middle. That won't be enough here. Take CLIPPERS! |
06-10-19 | Warriors +2 v. Raptors | Top | 106-105 | Win | 100 | 11 h 37 m | Show |
Golden State at Toronto 9:00 ET Warriors (+) over Raptors- All season long we have been waiting for the Warriors to turn it on and now they have no choice. If course injuries have taken its toll on Golden State and playing in five straight finals has them weary and dragging up and down the court. Toronto appears fresh and ready to go as their energy level seems to have increased as the series moves on. The front court duo of Curry and Thompson has been in synch for the most part but Cousins and Green need more production. They get it tonight! Take GOLDEN STATE! |
06-07-19 | Raptors +4.5 v. Warriors | Top | 105-92 | Win | 100 | 9 h 47 m | Show |
Toronto at Golden State 9:00 ET Raptors (+) over Warriors- All season long 'we' have been led to believe that the Warriors could just turn it on anytime they wished and that they would win with or without some of their important cogs. Now, one of their key ingredients will return as the claim is that Klay Thompson's 'popped' hammy has heeled (? really) and all expect Golden State to just once again control the floor. Toronto is 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to the Bay area and the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. Take the RAPTORS! |
05-30-19 | Warriors v. Raptors +1 | Top | 109-118 | Win | 100 | 21 h 49 m | Show |
NBA Final Game-1 Golden State at Toronto 9:00 ET Raptors over Warriors- Golden State comes charging into Toronto riding a six-game playoff winning streak while the home Raptors have four straight wins themselves taking down favored Milwaukee after trailing 0-2. From what I've seen so far and I don't think it will change is that the Warriors are going to take down a huge amount of money, so much so between the series and individual games I can't see how the money could shift. The Warriors are 7-18 ATS in their last 25 games against the Atlantic and the series l'price' is a bit low in my opinion and invites Golden State action. Toronto is 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight meetings, has the better record for the season and is the higher seed and is 40-11 SU at home! Take the RAPTORS! |
05-25-19 | Bucks +2.5 v. Raptors | Top | 94-100 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 42 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:30 ET Bucks (+) over Raptors- Milwaukee has lost three straight for the first time this season as a matter of fact they had lost two-in-a-row just twice this entire season. A week ago 'we' were saying how Kawhi Leonard was aware that he is not the best player on the floor as long as Giannis Antetokounmpo is around and he responded like a true champion. Tonight, it is a matter of survival and the Bucks will be playing aggressive on both ends of the court. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-23-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -6.5 | Top | 105-99 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 46 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Raptors- This series has gone to 'form' as far as 'we' are concerned winning with the Raptors when most had written them off. Milwaukee now seems to be the team in flux if they can't find a way to support Antekounmpo's play they are doomed but they seem to be able to do it at home. Since their opening home loss to Boston the Bucks are 4-0 both SU & ATS and they respond to losses as they are 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight-up loss. Toronto meanwhile is 1-6 ATS on the road against teams with winning records over 60% and 1-5 ATS on the road overall. I hope the points don't become a factor but I will lay it...take MILWAUKEE! |
05-21-19 | Bucks v. Raptors +2.5 | Top | 102-120 | Win | 102 | 12 h 36 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Toronto 8:30 ET Raptors (ML) over Raptors- Does the home court advantage mean that much in the NBA playoffs? It seems to mean something between these rivals and although it took a pair of overtimes to do it the Raptors have a 'renewed' confidence after the Game 3 win. Toronto saw the possibility of going down 0-3 in the second overtime but responded as champions should. The Bucks are good and may have the best player in basketball but they are young and has not been here before. Once again...it's TORONTO! |
05-20-19 | Warriors v. Blazers +4 | Top | 119-117 | Win | 100 | 22 h 52 m | Show |
Golden State at Portland 9:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Warriors- Before Game 1 of this series all the pundits were expounding on what a great shot Portland had to win the series. Okay, Golden State laid down the lay in the opener and then the Blazers responded in Game 2 getting the cash but blowing a 17-point second half lead and the game. At that point I thought that they were 'toast' and posted Megabucks winner Golden State I Game 3 when most ere expecting backs-to-the-wall performance they they just didn't have it. Well, there is no pressure tonight as they realize reluctantly the series in done. But, with the experts and public now back fully behind the Warriors....Take PORTLAND! |
05-18-19 | Warriors +2.5 v. Blazers | 110-99 | Win | 100 | 11 h 57 m | Show
Golden State at Portland 9:00 ET Warriors (+) over Trailblazers- How about that...knowing how to win was key in Game 2 of this series as the Warriors 'stole' one from the Trailblazers. Portland had a 17-point second half lead and choked it away last down the stretch as the Golden State tied and then trailed by six points before overcoming these 'dogs.' The Trailblazers are now in the favorites roll down 0-2 and I won't be surprised if they don't win another game this season. The Blazers have lost four of their last six and one again come up short. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
05-17-19 | Raptors v. Bucks -6.5 | Top | 103-125 | Win | 100 | 11 h 32 m | Show |
Toronto at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Bucks (-) over Raptors- I was truly sick when the final was posted for Game 1 as the Raptors did their thing late and were out-scored 10-0 to end the game and 'our' point spread dreams. So, what we have now is a club (the Bucks) that just ignore trends and the opposition and just continue to play hard and 'cover.' After what 'we' all witnessed I just believe that Milwaukee is destined to move into the FBA Finals. Take the BUCKS! |
05-16-19 | Blazers v. Warriors -7 | Top | 111-114 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 12 m | Show |
Portland at Golden State 9:00 ET Trailblazers (+) over Warriors- Well, it is obvious that Golden State doesn't need Kevin Durant or Boogie Cousins to win a championship as long as they have Stephen Curry. Curry drained nine 3-pointers in Game 1 and just seems at his best when it means the most as he raises to the occasion. Portland who committed 21 turnovers were just 7-for-28 from 3-point land and six of those were made by CJ McCollum who will have difficulty repeating his performance. Take the WARRIORS! |
05-15-19 | Raptors +6.5 v. Bucks | Top | 100-108 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 57 m | Show |
Toronto at Milwaukee 8:30 ET Raptors (+) over Bucks- There is no doubt who the media will pit against each other in this series as both Toronto's Kawhi Leonard and Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo actually deserve the label 'Super-Star.' Talking about their talents won't mean as much as how their supporting cast reacts to the 'Conference Finals' pressure. The bucks swept Detroit getting the money in all four, then they dropped Game 1 against Boston and responded with four more wins and 'covers.' The Raptors had to scrap their way through a tough 7-game series against Philadelphia covering just two fo their last six. Battle tested and 4-1 ATS in their last five stops in the Brew City the Raptors will claw their way to a win here. Take TORONTO! |
05-14-19 | Blazers v. Warriors -7.5 | Top | 94-116 | Win | 100 | 25 h 51 m | Show |
Portland at Golden State 9:00 ET Warriors (-) over Trailblazers- Don't you think that the Trailblazers are themselves 'surprised' that for the first time since 2000 they are in the Western Conference Finals. Golden State won for fun the other night as Durant and Cousins nursed their wounds and Curry took the first half off and then buried the imposters with 33 second half points as Chris (the Hoax) Paul and Harden failed once again when it matters most. I don't see Portland getting over the initial shock that they actually won and are here against the Warriors. The number don't mean much to me here as I expect the Blazers to fade in the second half. Take GOLDEN STATE! |
05-12-19 | 76ers v. Raptors -6 | 90-92 | Loss | -105 | 25 h 33 m | Show
Philadelphia at Toronto 7:00 ET Raptors (-) over 76ers- Joel Embiid has shown that he can be a 'monster' and when he is aggressive the rest of the team seems to follow suit. Philadelphia had their backs up against it and they responded with a dominating performance to force Game 7. The last time these two met in Toronto the Raptors spanked the 76ers for the second straight time and including their home dominance over the Sixers to 16-7 in the last 23 meetings including 6-1 ATS in Toronto. The home team is 9-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings. Take TORONTO! |
05-12-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -5.5 | 100-96 | Loss | -105 | 21 h 2 m | Show
Portland at Denver 3:30 ET Nuggets (-) over Trailblazers- Denver 9-3-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings Portland is 0-5 ATS after a straight-up win and 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games. The Blazers 'outside' game was able to provide the need punch that they lack 'inside.' The Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is just too much for any of the Blazers big men to handle without Nurkic as Enes Kanter is failing averaging just six points that last three games. Jokic has been dominant with 26.8 points, 14 rebounds and 8.7 assists and will remain the difference. Take DENVER! |
05-10-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -7 | Top | 118-113 | Loss | -115 | 12 h 41 m | Show |
Golden State at Houston 9:00 ET Rockets (-) over Warriors- The talk among many of those 'in-the-know' is that Houston should be made the favorite in this series. After all, Durant is down and the Warriors have shown kinks in their armor. Last season when these two met it was the Rockets that had the 3-2 lead and lost Chris Paul the remaining two game and Golden State survived. This time around it is Golden State that has the 3-2 lead but has incurred the injury to Durant. Houston hasn't lost at home during the post-season (5-0) and keeps that streak alive tonight. Take HOUSTON! |
05-09-19 | Nuggets v. Blazers -3.5 | 108-119 | Win | 100 | 12 h 59 m | Show
Denver at Portland 10:30 ET Trailblazers (-) over Nuggets- Denver who needs just one more win to advance to the conference title series is 5-0 ATS in their last five visits to Portland, but are 0-6 ATS in their last six Thursday games. Portland took the series lead at 2-1 after their (4-OT) win in Game 3 but have dropped the last two games to put themselves on the brink of elimination. After the loss of center Jusuf Nurkic before the playoffs the Blazers added Enes Kanter who with limited ability has had difficulties containing Nuggets center Nikola Jokic. The Blazers who are 36-10 SU at home and 27-19 ATS will regroup and force a game seven. Take PORTLAND! |
05-09-19 | Raptors v. 76ers +2 | Top | 101-112 | Win | 100 | 10 h 38 m | Show |
Toronto at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (+) over Raptors- Philadelphia sure was cocky after they took a 2-1 series lead after their 21-point win in Game 3 as Joel Embiid was the dominate factor. Since then, Embiid has been a non-factor and even a negative (eight turnovers last game) as the flu and sore knees have affected the big man. Toronto has had a huge edge in head-to-head meetings winning 16 of the last 22 meetings ATS and 28-13-2 ATS at Philadelphia. One clue to remember is that much of this series advantage happened while the 76ers were a non-entity. The 76ers have won without Embiid before but I am expecting his return and his play to return to his stellar self. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
05-08-19 | Rockets +6 v. Warriors | 99-104 | Win | 100 | 13 h 34 m | Show
Houston at Golden State 10:35 ET Rockets (+) over Warriors- All season long we all felt that Golden State was just going through the motions and except on some special occasions we might see them hitting on all cylinders. Well, if they have the ability to turn it on and off now is the time to start. The Rockets have taken the momentum away from the Champs and actually feel that they should be up 3-1 in games for the series. We can see Curry struggling and Thompson being out of synch and they appear a hair slower. It actually looks like Houston is the hungrier team. I don't know if the 'line' is a 'tell' or not, but in the two home games against the Rockets the line was 4 and 4.5 now the 'price' is inflated because of the Warriors need after losing two straight. Houston is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up win. Take HOUSTON! |
05-08-19 | Celtics v. Bucks -9 | Top | 91-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 4 m | Show |
Boston at Milwaukee 8:00 ET Bucks (-) over Celtics- What is the 'line' on this game, because a year ago these two met in Milwaukee and the Bucks were a 4-point favorite, and now...Ha. The Celtics are done! If you don't believe so just take a look at the tapes of their last three games. After a dominating Game one 112-90 win at Milwaukee the Celtics were thinking, same old Bucks.' It just goes to show that you can't take anything for granted in professional sports and Boston has lost their 'Mojo' and there is no coming back! Numbers, stats and all that stuff won't mean a thing here. I will be very surprised if the Celtics even put up a fight. Havlicek weeps...Take the BUCKS! |
05-07-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -4.5 | 98-124 | Win | 100 | 12 h 30 m | Show
Portland at Denver 10:30 ET Nuggets (-) over Trailblazers- The trends here do not bode well for Portland who has had a great season and is now one game away from elimination. These two have alternated wins with Denver getting the money 3-of-4 and are aware they could be closing out this series here with any luck in their four OT loss in Game 3. Being 38-9 SU at home is one thing but having the second best record in the West and being 28-19 ATS at home is saying something. Straight-up Nikola Jokic is just too difficult for Portland with their starting center Jusuf Nurkic out for the rest of the season. Take DENVER! |
05-07-19 | 76ers v. Raptors -6 | 89-125 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show
Philadelphia at Toronto 8:00 ET Raptors (-) over 76ers- Well, as usual it all comes down to Joel Embiid! The All-Everything center has got to be healthy of Philadelphia expects to advance as we witnessed the 76ers short-coming if he isn't at his best. Toronto got the 'wake-up' call after Game 3 when the Sixers trounced the Raptors 116-95 on their home court to take a 2-1 series lead. Although the series is tied 2-2 if just feel that Toronto has the advantage and I am not referring to the home court but the mindset. They are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven at home and the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in their last six trips to Toronto. Take TORONTO! |
05-06-19 | Bucks +1.5 v. Celtics | 113-101 | Win | 101 | 19 h 23 m | Show
Milwaukee at Boston 7:00 ET Bucks (+) over Celtics- I've been warning anyone that would listen that the Celtics were just playing possum until the stakes were higher (yet I didn't take advantage) and then watch out. But, now when the stakes are the highest the odds-maker doesn't respect their chances. NO. not really not of they are only a one-point favorite at home in the playoffs. My feeling now is that they may not be playing coy but are a team in flux. Big game for Boston and they should have more support from the odds makers but they don't. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-05-19 | Nuggets +3 v. Blazers | 116-112 | Win | 100 | 9 h 19 m | Show
Denver at Portland 7:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Nuggets- There should be some weary legs on the court Sunday as the Nuggets and Trailblazers get back on the court after their four overtime game Friday was the longest NBA Playoff game since 1953. Denver couldn't hold a late lead but did manage to get the cash as they have their last four times at Portland (4-0 ATS). Portland has had trouble with consistency as they have lost four straight ATS after an outright win. The Nuggets youth will help them maintain their stamIna. Take DENVER! |
05-05-19 | Raptors +2.5 v. 76ers | Top | 101-96 | Win | 100 | 6 h 56 m | Show |
Toronto at Philadelphia 3:30 ET Raptors (+) over 76ers- We all saw it, we saw how Joel Embiid can dominate a game and just destroy the opposition both offensively and defensively. He's a guy that had 33 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots in just 28 minutes of play. Philadelphia has won and covered six of their last seven and can take control of the series with a win here but they are just 6-14 ATS against the Raptors in the last 20 meetings and Toronto is 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a straight-up loss of more then 10 points. Take TORONTO! |

05-04-19 | Warriors v. Rockets -3.5 | Top | 121-126 | Win | 100 | 12 h 31 m | Show |
Golden State at Houston 8:30 ET Rockets (-) over Warriors- This selection has nothing to do with Chris Paul so if he ever is to have anything when it counts now is a good time to start (especially because 'we' betting on you). Coming off of Megabucks win with Golden State on Tuesday I have no problem coming back with the 0-2 Rockets who have had plenty of time to clear their heads and start 'fresh' after licking their wounds. I believe that the 'calls' that upset the Rockets in Game 1 had a carry-over effect and at the end of Game 2 they just walked off in the final seconds. With four days to stew and recover I expect a big night out of the home team. Take HOUSTON! |
05-03-19 | Nuggets +4 v. Blazers | 137-140 | Win | 100 | 12 h 3 m | Show
Denver at Portland 10:30 ET Nuggets (+) over Trailblazers- Granted that Portland got the split they wanted in the two at Denver but the Nuggets won the games they needed and evened the series at one a piece as opposed to getting to Portland down 0-2. My question is if Denver point guard Jamal Murray is questionable why is this 'number' so cheap. Portland is 35-9 SU at home as and impressive 27-17 ATS whereas the Nuggets are 18-26 ATS on the road. In the last meetings between these two in Portland the Blazers were favored by -8.5, tonight the line tells 'us' that they will struggle. Take DENVER! |
05-03-19 | Bucks +2.5 v. Celtics | Top | 123-116 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show |
Milwaukee at Boston 8:00 ET Bucks (+) over Celtics- Okay, so the zig-zag system worked in Game 2 of this series where you play 'on' the team that lost Game 1 and collect Game 2...perfect. Yeah, to a point, and what happens is that the general 'public' is on to that pattern and it all changes as the 'action' increases. But, the point here is that Milwaukee made a major adjustment in Game 2 and their overall athletic talent took over and evened the series. Although, Boston got the much needed win and split the two games on the road they are now backed up against a team that has learned how to win. Take MILWAUKEE! |
05-02-19 | Raptors v. 76ers +1.5 | Top | 95-116 | Win | 100 | 9 h 28 m | Show |
Toronto at Philadelphia 8:00 ET 76ers (+) over Raptors- The starting-five in NBA action is all important as they are the foundation of one's club and Toronto is among the league's best, but that's where it ends for the Raptors. Their bench managed only four points on 2-of-11 shooting in their Game 2 loss and now are at 1-1 as Game 3 tops off in Philadelphia. The 76ers played some defense last time out and held the Raptors to 17 first quarter points. Although Toronto is 14-5 ATS in the last 19 meetings the 76ers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Take PHILADELPHIA! |
05-01-19 | Blazers v. Nuggets -3.5 | Top | 97-90 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 28 m | Show |
Portland at Denver 9:00 ET Nuggets (-) over Trailblazers- Portland has been great to their backers for most of the season and even made money in Round 1 over Oklahoma City. The Trailblazers have had just one weak issue and that is their play against the Nuggets especially in Denver. Portland is just 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight meetings and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six meetings in Denver. With the competition getting tougher Portland is just 1-4 ATS in their last five road games overall while the Nuggets are 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 games against the NBA Northwest. Take DENVER! |
04-30-19 | Rockets v. Warriors -5.5 | 109-115 | Win | 100 | 13 h 4 m | Show
Houston at Golden State 3:30 ET Warriors (-) over Rockets- Oh boo-who-who for the Rockets, give me a break it's always something with these guys. In Game 1 of the series Chris Paul gets thrown out of the game with :04 left and Houston just virtually walked off the floor and quit. When big games arise Golden State ballplayers like Demond Green and Andre Iguodala step up and deliver. Rockets Front court players Clint Capella and JJ Tucker posted four points in last time out as Harden was 9-28 from the floor. If this game is about character there is only one side to have. A three NBA championships under their belts. Houston won three of four during the regular season when it meant more to the Rockets than the Warriors. Take the WARRIORS! |
04-28-19 | Rockets v. Warriors -5 | Top | 100-104 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 44 m | Show |
Houston at Golden State 3:30 ET Warriors (-) over Rockets- well, this is the match-up that most are looking forward to in the West as many believe that if the Warriors are to fall it will be the Rockets that slay them. Houston won three of four during the regular season when it meant more to the Rockets then the Warriors. Golden State was limping to the finish against the Clippers as DeMarcus Cousins is lost for the rest of the year and both Step Curry and Klay Thompson hobbled off of the court at series end. Although Golden State is 10-22-1 ATS in their last 33 at home this is when it counts...Take the WARRIORS! |
04-28-19 | Celtics v. Bucks -7 | 112-90 | Loss | -115 | 2 h 18 m | Show
Boston at Milwaukee 1:00 ET Bucks (-) over Celtics- Well, there is no question the Celtics have turned it up a notch for the playoffs and have won five straight. Last season Boston and Milwaukee met in the 1st round of the playoffs and the Celtics prevailed in seven games. This time the Bucks hold the home court and have the hammer with Giannis Antetokounmpo . Milwaukee swept Detroit in four games never being challenged winning by a combined 95 points. For the way these two have played in the past this is a very big price for the Bucks to lay as Boston is not only 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings they are also 9-3 ATS in Brew-town. With those kind of stats this line tells me the Bucks are ready. Take MILWAUKEE! |
04-27-19 | Spurs v. Nuggets -5.5 | Top | 86-90 | Loss | -110 | 22 h 1 m | Show |
San Antonio at Denver 7:00 T Nuggets (-) over Spurs- This has been an under-valued series that comes down to a Game 7 with both side winning twice at home and losing one as hosts. San Antonio has dominated the money in Denver going 16-7 ATS in the last 23 games. The Spurs just have trouble putting together back-to-back performance as they are 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS win and 2-7 ATS after a straight-up win and the Nuggets are 5-2 ATS after a 10-point win. Take DENVER! |
04-26-19 | Warriors v. Clippers +10 | 129-110 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 47 m | Show
Golden State at L.A. Clippers 10:00 ET Clippers (+) over Warriors- Okay that makes twice in this series that Golden State has looked past the Clippers and now lead 3-2 with the clincher a possibility tonight. The Warriors had the 'Big-3' leading the way with Durant scoring a playoff career high 45 points, Curry added 24 and Thompson 22 but no other player was in double figures. Golden State sez that they have learned their lesson and will put forth a full 48-minute effort. It still may bring them short...Take the CLIPPERS! |
04-25-19 | Nuggets +3.5 v. Spurs | 103-120 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 53 m | Show
Denver at San Antonio 8:00 ET Nuggets (+) over Spurs- For the first seven quarters of this series the Spurs had the best of it until Denver's Jamal Murray went berserk and lit up San Antonio. So, here we have it, The Nuggets after that rough start have negated the over-rated DeMar DeRozan and stifled LaMarcus Aldridge for the most part. Head-to-head the Nuggets are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings and San Antonio is 1-6 ATS in their Last seven home games. Take DENVER! |
04-24-19 | Jazz +8.5 v. Rockets | 93-100 | Win | 100 | 10 h 45 m | Show
Utah at Houston 8:00 ET Jazz (+) over Rockets- Some team work better when they have their backs up against the 'wall' and the Jazz responded well in their elimination game against the Rockets winning 107-91. Houston who has been the 'hottest' ATS team the past month has a habit of disappearing in big game and there is nothing else for me to look for here. Utah will fight until the final buzzer and the Rockets will just try and cruise by...take UTAH |
04-23-19 | Thunder +4 v. Blazers | 115-118 | Win | 100 | 11 h 20 m | Show
Oklahoma City at Portland 10:30 ET Thunder (+) over Trailblazers- This is the first game in the series that the betting public has abandoned the Thunder as they have seen enough of their 'over-rated' (NBA voted by the players) triple-double machine. Stats are nice but they don't win championships and Oklahoma hasn't won a thing with this 'guy' Russell Westbrook as event Kevin Durant had too much and split. It seems to me as though Paul George is 'laboring' and doesn't look the same to me but it's time for the Thunder meet the challenge. Take OKLAHOMA CITY! |
04-23-19 | Spurs +5.5 v. Nuggets | 90-108 | Loss | -102 | 10 h 51 m | Show
San Antonio at Denver 9:30 ET Spurs (+) over Nuggets- The idea that this series is even at 2-2 is scary for the Spurs as they have had the best of it for the most part but need this win badly. San Antonio has dominated this series and is 16-6 ATS in their last 22 meetings in Denver. The Nuggets are just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 Conference Quarterfinals games while the Spurs are 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 games against teams above .500. Add that they are 4-0 ATS after a 10-point loss...Take SAN ANTONIO! |
04-23-19 | Nets +8.5 v. 76ers | 100-122 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 42 m | Show
Brooklyn at Philadelphia 8:00 ET OMG...I told you the very first time I saw Joel Embiid that he was a beast but Lordy...what has he grown into? Really, he is a 'monster' in the true sense of the word, he's a bully on the floor when he wants to be and it appears that he wants to be against the Nets. He even chides them during post game conferences after committing flagrant fouls. The man has no fear and for good reason...he is one bad dude. But, he is not always available and the Nets will play hard until the final buzzer. Take BROOKLYN! |
04-22-19 | Rockets v. Jazz +3 | Top | 91-107 | Win | 100 | 12 h 14 m | Show |
Houston at Utah 10:30 ET Jazz (+) over Rockets- What can I say about this series? The Rockets have dominated even when they didn't dominate the game. James Harden was 0-15 from the floor to start the play before he made a field goal and scored just 22 in the game. That was well below his ppg average but enough to overcome the Jazz. In Game 4 the roles have been reversed as Utah is now a home underdog and they are 29-13 SU at home. In a last gasp effort the Jazz get it done. Take UTAH! |
04-21-19 | Raptors v. Magic +5.5 | 107-85 | Loss | -100 | 9 h 56 m | Show
Toronto at Orlando 7:00 ET Magic (+) over Raptors- The way this series has gone it look like Toronto has been dominating but yet only lead 2-1 and now are in Orlando where the Magic won 13 of their last 14 regular season games. But, in Game 3 they shot just 36% and committed 16 turnovers. The Raptors' Kawhi Leonard had difficulty in Game 3 after a stellar performance in Game 2 with 37 points but last time out he was hurting and shot 5-of-19. Magic at home do their thing. Take ORLANDO! |
04-21-19 | Warriors v. Clippers +9.5 | 113-105 | Win | 100 | 5 h 29 m | Show
Golden State at L.A. Clippers 3:30 ET Clippers (+) over Warriors- Well, it appears that Golden State has established that they 'can' turn it on whenever they what as they pound the opposition when they are ready. The Warriors seem to take get pleasure in taking down the Clippers and are 6-1 ATS in their last seven meetings in LA. The Clippers have gone 26-16 SU at home and will come ready themselves this afternoon. Take the CLIPPERS! |
