Going with the Jets here tonight. This offense is just on fire and I do not see the defensive corp of Colorado keeping pace with this team. Colorado started the season well but have lost 6 out of 9 and Landeskog is suspended. Herfoot out of Harvard was on fire to start the season but has cooled off as well. 

Just do not see the fire power to keep up and at this cheap price I have to back the Jets. Only reason its this low is because the Avs have been good at home.

Should be a shoot out tonight between the Isles and Canucks. Very solid info coming in to back this play and this will be a 4-2,5-3 type game here tonight. At -105 its by far the best value play on the board tonight. 

1 NHl play tonight on the over between Winnipeg and Minnesota. I can see a 6-4 type game here tonight with Stalock starting in net for the Wild and my Boy Helly lets give up a ton of goals buk in net for the Jets. 

We are going with the Over in the Lightning/Capitals game. I think its a coin flip on the side but 4-3 is a reality here.

First I want to thank everyone who has signed up the last couple days. The second thing is to not go max units if you are just getting on board. Yes we have been very solid with great info coming in but they still have to play the game. I am looking at 2 plays tonight with a College play in the works. We are waiting on some info to still come in but if we have one it will be out by 645.

Solid info tonight on the over in the St Louis/Edmonton game. I think if we can get 2 out of the Oilers we will be all set in this one. Imagine this Oilers team struggling to score goals? I think they are seeing the effects of letting Hall and Eberle go. Of course this is Hall's second year out of Edmonton but they could really use that offense right about now. At even or plus money this is the best play on the board tonight. I think all 3 favorites have the ability to lose tonight but with the way Edmonton and Montreal have been playing its tough to take a shot. The nucks probably being the best option but small.

Another great early winner today on Wyoming. Thats now 11 in a row and 21 out of are last 25 games. Add in 15-0 in College Football and we are doing something no one else does. Like I said, SOLID INFO IS WHAT WINS.

We are going with the over 6 tonight. The way the Lightning are putting the puck in the net and watching the Isles offense the other night against Dallas this one should have goals early. Just hope Vas doesnt pitch a shut out would be the only issue but its worth a shot at this price.

I am taking the over between the Avs and Caps. This should be a high scoring affair with the Avs resurgence of offensive power. We know that the Caps can score at will and they shouldnt have any issues putting the puck in the next against the Avs who return home from their 2 game trip overseas.

I have to take the over 5 in this one. Dubnyk has pitched 3 shutouts in a row so this is why this is now at 5 from 5.5. I see goals going in tonight 

The Wild have been playing very good Hockey and I am going to back them at home tonight. They never get the recognition they deserve in the west but when they start winning they are one of the toughest teams to play in the league.

I am taking this over at plus money. If these 2 teams can get on the score board early then this will fly over. Arizona wants to start making a push and they will have to do it tonight on the road. They jump out to the lead in every single game but then fall apart. This team can score goals but they cannot finish games. This is perfect for the over.

I am taking the Panthers tonight against a Dallas team on a back 2 back. Florida has been playing very well as of late and their young Defense is starting to lock down the point so there fast forwards can buzz the net.

Tonight is the night we get back on track in the NHL. I am taking Columbus at home over Carolina. I am not buying the early start by the Hurricanes and they are beginning to come back to earth. Columbus has lost 3 in a row so this is a very good spot for us tonight.

Montreal seems to finally have it going and how can I bet against Charlie right now? The kid has absolutely been great and should get his third win in a row tonight and go to 6-0 in the NHL.

Taking the Over tonight between between NJ and Edmonton. Both of these teams work at a very high pace and this should be an up and down speed game. Lets hope for some goals in this one. 

I am going with the Sharks at home tonight for this very low price. Seen a lot of sharp action on San Jose with some very good info.

We are going with the over tonight in the game between Montreal and Vegas. It seems Montreal has finally got their offense on track but their defense is still shaky even after beating us the other night in Chicago. Vegas keeps showing off even with no goaltending which also helps us in this spot.

The line on this one dropped as Chicago was debating on who was starting tonight. Crawford is in net after pitching 2 shutouts in a row against Charlie Lindgren. I am very high on Lindgren who I have watched in the minors but this is a tough spot tonight. If the Black Hawks come out and play physical Montreal will not keep up.

Yes I know, high vig but the totals tonight make me nervous. We rode with Chicago last night over these same Flyers and Chicago won 3-0. Now Philly and this young defense who also lost Gudas last night has to travel to St Louis and take on a very good Blues team. St Louis is undefeated at home this season going 5-0-0 and Philly is 1-3-1 in their last 5. 

I have to back the strong home team against a team that is heading the opposite direction.

Ok I am going back to my kryptonite tonight in the Chicago Blackhawks. This team killed us last year in the playoffs being swept by St Louis and we have lost on them twice early this season but we are going with them tonight.  Philly is in bad shape adding Rookie Nolan Patrick to IR with an upperbody injury. Philly Dcore is young and inexperienced and Chicago is not the team you want to play when your Defense is subpar. At less then -150 on home ice I have to take a shot that Kaner will end his slump tonight and the Blackhawks will roll over the Flyers.

We are going with the Over tonight between the Rangers and Knights. Vegas is now on Goaltender #4 on the season and Maxime Legace was a backup in the AHL. He relieved Dansk last night and gave up 4 goals on 11 shots. The Rangers with be salivating tonight and will be taking many shots to get this kid rattled quick. Vegas Backup Dylan Ferguson  was a 7th rd pick this season by Dallas. They are recalling him from JRS for this game.

We know Vegas can score as well so lets get the over in this one.

Lets get to winning in the NHL. These 2 teams have already done a home and away this season and they put up an insane amount of shots. Stamkos and Kucherov didnt score a point last time out for the first time this season so you know they are both Hungry. I dont see and issue getting 6 in this one and hopefully they will come early.

I am going back with Chicago tonight at home. Nashville is not as good away from home. 

I am taking the over tonight in the game between Tampa Bay and Detroit. Tampa Bay is the best team in the NHL at the current time and Detroit will have nothing for them. I think Tampa Bay can get to 5 goals on their own so we will need Detroit to get a couple in the net themselves. 

We have to teams going in opposite directions. We have a Toronto team that has had its best start in 15 years with some serious young offensive power. They are a very fun team to watch and on the other hand we have Jeff Skinner and the Carolina Hurricanes. He has been their offense and Carolina has lost 2 straight and 4 of their last 6. 

I do not see this Hurricanes offense staying with the Maple leafs tonight.

This one has blowout city all over it and I do not see an issue getting 6 goals here as I have it capped 5-2 Columbus but the ML price on Columbus is just to high after are bad call last night on the Black Hawks. Getting plus money on this play is just simply to much value for a pass.

I know its over the -150 threshold we like to live by but there is still solid value on this play. I have this more in the -185 priceline so we are still getting over .20 of value. Vegas came out with a lot of emotion after the tragedy but are they really that good? They were picked to finish in the basement but they have played solid Hockey. They even beat the St Louis Blues but if we look at who they have played, its been a pretty weak opponent list outside that Blues game. MAF is down and Dansk is starting in his place.  If you look at this weeks power rankings Chicago is number 2 and after getting swept in last years playoffs they are out to prove they are a Stanley Cup contender. If you look at the 2 teams its not even a fair comparison in talent. Chicago has a solid d core and one of the best goalies in the league in Crawford. Patty Kane is my favorite player in the NHL and he can turn any game on its head quickly. He makes everyone around him better. I just do not see Vegas keeping up tonight. They have played to well for Chicago not to focus on the task at hand.

We are going to see goals goals goals in this game tonight. 2 teams with bad defense, shady goaltending and high flying players who can light the lamp. Great rivalry matchup with 2 teams who need a big win in this early season. Boston should not be -200 in this game even with Buffalo on a back to back.

I am going with the Over in the Avs/Blues game tonight. I said from the beginning that the Avs are not going to be as bad as everyone said and they came out playing good Hockey. They have struggled finding the net as of late but I think they will take advantage of the Blues playing in a back to back. Jaden Schwartz came back healthy last night netting a Hat trick against Chicago. 

I think both teams have enough offensive fire power t get us to 6 tonight.

Was hoping this would come down a little more but we will be backing the Maple Leafs tonight on home ice. Detroit has not played a team like this at all in this early season and I do not see them keeping up the pace. Oddsmakers put up today that the Maple Leafs are now predicted to win the Cup. I wouldnt go that far but this young team downed the Caps last night 2-0. That also made us lose are over on that game last night.

Ive have watched Subban for a very long time and I am not buying his play the other night. Subban wanted to beat the team that waived him and it paid off. Vegas has played a very high tempo game so far this season and Buffalo will be able to score with the talent they have. I wish this game was 5 but I dont see to many of those being in play this season with all the goals being scored.

I have to take the over in this one as these 2 teams have done nothing but score so far this season. Add some suspect D and Goaltending for Toronto and this game should have no trouble getting to 3-3 or 4-2. Just need to get that 1 goal for a winner.

With all the goals this season I am going over tonight between the Panthers and Blues. I dont think we will be getting many Over 5's this year like we dominated in years past so we need to start looking at other factors to get that extra goal. Tarasenko is a machine and we know he will get on the score sheet tonight with Floridas young defensive core. I really like how Florida has looked this season and we should get plenty of goals in this one.

Battle between Connor and Patrick tonight and it should be a good one in Edmonton. When the best player in the game is going up against a very shaky goaltending situation on home ice then I have to back the home club. Winnipeg has a great core but their Goalies and lack of defense at times has cost this team. The Winnipeg fans expect a playoff club this season so there is a ton of pressure. I have to back the Oilers tonight.

The Avs burnt us opening night but this early Saturday afternoon game should work to are benefit. This is a better Devils team with some top young talent and a goalie who wants to forget last season and go back to his All Star play from the previous year. Lets back the Devils on home ice in their opener.

Ok lets get into the positive after a couple bad days. 2-2 on the season but playing that juice last night on the Rangers killed us. Still cant believe the Rangers allowed Colorado to come in and do what they did. 5-3 for both teams and neither could score. Its early in the year and the road team has beaten us twice. 

Is there a worse team ever to be put on the ice in the NHL? This Vegas team is worse then the first Thrashers team. Dallas is healthy and has a lot to prove after a down turn last season. I have this game capped at 5-1 so lets roll with the PL on this one.

I am betting the Kings tonight solely because the Flyers are on a back to back on the west coast to start the season. Quick is healthy this season and that will make a huge difference on this Kings team. The Flyers out paced the Sharks the whole game last night. San Jose is going to be a fade early because they were big and slow all game last night. I do not think the Flyers can keep up that pace 2 night in a row to start the season.

Yes this is very pricey to start the season but Colorado is plain awful. They have so much going on in that franchise with guys wanting to be traded and guys not wanting to sign with the franchise. Colorado has some very good young talent but their is no geling on that team. I have to take the Rangers on home ice to start the season. 

Its that time of year again when Marc Lyle puts a beating on the books in the NHL.

We have an opening night play in San Jose on home ice against a very young Flyers team that just cant win out West. Flyers may be without top dman shayne gostisbehere. This will have 3 rookie dmen on the team in Haag, Morin and Sanheim. That should play well for a high scoring San Jose team on home ice. If Ghost is declared out I see this line going to -170 or higher so we are jumping on this one early,

I have been debating this one but I have to pull the trigger as I believe this Oilers team can reach the Stanley Cup finals this season. Its tough for me to fade Mike Smith who I still believe is the most underated goalie in the NHL but can his defense contain Mcdavid and Draisaiti who were the best 1 2 punch in the NHL last season. I think Lucic will be better this year and I also believe Maroon will improve even over his breakout season last year. Also RC Kailer Yamamoto had a breakout camp and made the team. The Oilers defense is healthy and with Talbot in net this team is ready to compete. I think the Flames are improved but its opening night in Edmonton and its going to be rocking.

NHL GAME OF THE YEAR

I am riding the Ducks tonight after their loss at home in game 1. Way to much talent on this Ducks team against a young Oilers squad. 

The line has dropped and this is a steal for the more experienced team. You will start seeing tired legs on the Oilers just like you saw on a young Leafs team in the last series. 

This line is climbing so we will jump on this one now. The Capitals are hearing the noise on how they cant win in the playoffs. This is a must win for the Caps or go down 3-1 against a young confident Maple Leafs team. This is do or die for Washington and we have to back the best team in the NHL tonight.

I know we are not getting great value on this play but there is no way Chicago goes down 0-2 at home. I have the Black hawks going to the Stanley Cup finals and if that is going to happen they must win tonight.  

I have to take the defending Stanley Cup champs on home ice where they only lost 6 games the entire season. Pittsburgh just beat Columbus 4-1 last week and I see the same here tonight.
