Going UNDER the total here. Also on the RAVENS -2.5 -- 4 of the last 5 in Canton have gone under. I think we see that again tonight. Even in the regular season these 2 aren't offensive machines. So even with new HC Nagy, and offense first guy, I still think we don't get much from Chicago. I can't see either coach putting anyone in this game for longer than a series tops. Nobody wants to lose a key guy August 2nd. I will be shocked if a team scores more than 20 here. 4* Total Money UNDER Bears / Ravens

Taking the RAVENS, also on the UNDER tonight. Not expecting much from the starters on either side of the field. But what intrigues me here is the QBs in play for Baltimore. RG3 and rookie Lamar Jackson. RG is looking to show he can still play in the league. Lamar is looking to prove himself as the guy to take the torch from Flacco. Harbaugh has the Ravens ready to play. Or at least cover. A perfect 6-0 ATS run in his first pre-season game of the year. 4* Money Maker BALTIMORE RAVENS

Taking the TITANS here and will grab the +150 ML also. KC with the really short week as they open up the regular season Thursday vs the Super Bowl Champs. We know Andy Reid doesn't play to win all that often in preseason. After that Patriots game, KC gets some nice extra prep time for Reid's old team, the Philadelphia Eagles. I will be all over the Chiefs as their HC is remarkable with rest. Back to preseason though. KC with nothing really to play for. Titans, still a struggle team looking for any and all wins. 8* Sure Shot TENNESSEE TITANS

Taking the EAGLES here. Not that I go off the last performance of any team. I know that people have a what have you done for me lately kind of attitude. And the Dolphins looks down right awful last week. So Cutler will get some extended playing time. This guy was suppose to be in the booth, what, at the start of August. Gets the call to come play for his old coach. Familiar with the system or not, he is not in game shape. Next. Eagles are young and hungry. They want to take a big step this year with their stud QB and his new toys at WR. Winning, even in preseason gets this town involved and hyped up. Finally, this line. Whenever I see that 3.5 or 7.5, I know people think. Oh man, I want that extra hook. 3 and 7 are key numbers. But I think different. I think opposite. When I see 2.5 and 6.5, I can picture the average fan saying, no way they don't win by a FG (or TD). So sign me up for Doug Pederson's crew tonight. 4* Money Maker PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Going UNDER the total here. 100% Certain that these guys play on 9/24. Not a chance that the Pats put out any kind of plays. Whenever I see team matched up in preseason and they meet in the regular season. It is always an auto play on the UNDER. When it is a coach like 'The Hoodie', fuhgedaboutit. Pats will get their wheels going next Week 3. For this one. I don't see them cracking 10 points. 8* Sure Shot UNDER Patriots/Texans

Going UNDER the total. I guess the easy thing to do here would be to fade KC since they are a little 0-14 ATS run in Preseason Week 2s. But I think the UNDER holds the real value. We know that Marvin Lewis wants a better effort from his starters. They had a bend don't break game vs TB. But the coach is looking for better tackling. At home, I like the chances of a good overall defensive effort. Enter Andy Reid who says that the Chiefs are looking to run the ball in this game. 13 rushing attempts and 21 yards from your RB corps won't win you many games in any season. So the run game will churn the clock. The home team is looking to swarm on defense and tackle better. And we want nary a point. 4* Total Money UNDER Chiefs/Bengals

Taking the TITANS here. Man oh man. Not that I tortured myself watching a Titans/Jets preaseason game. But 7-3! We knew the Jets were going to struggle on offense. But for Tennessee to allow 8 sacks. They will have to get another QB on the roster by the end of August if this keeps up. When a coach uses a word like 'catastrophic' when describing plays on defense. Even in preseason you have to take notice. Panthers scored a nice home win (we had the over) last Wednesday so they are well rested as the Titans played early Saturday. But they looked awful and I expect a better their coaches will be on them for a much better execution of plays today. 4* Money Maker TENNESSEE TITANS

Taking the VIKINGS here. Might even go +140 ML like we did with SF the other night. Both teams in off wins. Minny on the road in Buffalo. Seattle spanking the Chargers in LA. Both of these coaches win in preseason. Zimmer is 12-2 since coming to the Vikes. He said he didn't like their performance last week. Guy is still punishing the team for going 3-8 after their 5-0 start! Pete Carroll is now 31-14-1 in preseason action. Now. It is tough to fade either one of these guys. I just think that getting points, we have to take the team with an unhappy coach who likes to win. As a final piece. We can't discount that Minny last played Thursday, while Seattle is on the short week playing Sunday night. 4* Money Maker MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Taking TAMPA BAY tonight. From everything I am reading and seeing, Winston is going to play the entire first half for the Bucs. Sign me up no questions asked. Then we might get Ryan Fitzpatrick for a bit. They lost their 3 starter Griffin so undrafted QB from Colorado Sefo Liufau will get a bunch of action. Jags have some QB problems. Man, I hate to say that since I like Bortles. But he is in real danger this year if he doesn't have huge improvement. That being said. We know that TB is going to roll out starters for nice stretch. Jags had some big, fluky type plays in their win over that Pats. Can't count on big plays like that every week. Bucs get it done for us. 5* Best Bet TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Taking the RAMS tonight. Will grab the points with these guys. We back another new HC in Sean McVay. Look. I know that Goff is their #1 pick and normally you are protecting guys in preseason. But McVay needs to see exactly what he has here. The guy turned Cousins into a 42 Million Dollar QB the last 2 years. Safe to say he can improve this kid. His OC worked with Matt Ryan. Again. Not a bad job. Let's not forgot old Wade Phillips running the defense. That is a nice experienced ear for the youngster to chew on. Cowboys scored a Hall of Fame Game win and I can see them being a bit more reserved here in their 2nd game. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS

Taking SAN FRAN tonight. Man. I probably should go ML +160 with these guys. Look. We know that Andy Reid doesn't put much stock into preseason. Heck, the guy is 0-14 in Week 2. But in this spot, we are going large on the 49ers with their new HC. Kyle Shanahan takes over a putrid team. A new regime in charge. And with any new regime, you know they are going to come out firing. This is a down franchise right now. Shanahan is going to want a win and get that losing mentality off the team. Teams like this, and last nights play on the Browns included. These coaches need any Ws they can get so the players buy into them. With a new HC facing an old vet, I expect the hungry team gets it done and scores us an outright win. 5* Best Bet SF 49ers

Taking the BEARS here. Last year we had a nice NFLX winning 60% of our games for nearly a +500 profit. But this game was one of our losses. We had Chicago and Denver blanked them 22-0. Well I will jump back on Fox as he faces a club that he parted ways with. We know both teams have defenses that will play no matter where on the depth chart. I am also on the under here. I know that we have a QB battle going on in Denver. But we can't forget that the Broncos have a new HC. I can't see him playing Lynch and Siemian extended time. Siemian seems to be pulling ahead in their battle as of this writing (8/6). I will take the veteran coach on the sidelines looking to score a win vs his former employer. 4* Money Maker CHICAGO BEARS

Taking the BROWNS here. Last year Cleveland went 0-4 in pre-season getting outscored 92-44. They proceeded to go 1-15 in the regular season. Hue Jackson is 0-8 in NFLX. The guy is 1-19 as HC of the Browns. I don't care if it is pre-season, regular season or the 4 Seasons. This dude needs to notch a win. Cody Kessler and Deshone Kizer are battling for the starters spot. You have Brock looking to show anything. I would think that at home, in front of suffering Dawg Pound fans they would come out looking for a win and not just getting reps. This team is in no position to just ' go through the motions.' Saints won't play Brees or AP for long if at all. (writing this Sunday 8/6) - This team is not looking to prove anything. New Orleans problems have been on defense. Savage and Weeden have NFL experience. One of them will get some extended time. I liked Watson in college. I think if he gets time vs back-ups, he will have success. Cam Newton won't play. Anderson is the #2 and will get a short look. I always like Joe Webb in preseason. He is good for some excitement. Not sure if Garrett Gilbert even plays. Cowboys off a huge one. Starters won't see much if any action. We already know that Carson Palmer won't be playing at all. Maybe we get a huge swath of Blaine Gabbert. Taking the FALCONS here. So we cashed our last NFLX game as these same Jaguars rallied for a Best Bet win on Sunday night. Now, a straight fade. Short week. Nothing to prove for them. They will just be going through the motions. Atlanta on the other hand. Well, I think we see a little more determination. They didn't look good vs Miami. I think they rate a huge edge just based on the fact that the Jags are playing on a short week. I doubt we see Matt Ryan. In fact, after Romo was injured, I can't believe that I am reading that the Saints will play Drew Brees! Matt Schaub is a real NFL QB who put up decent numbers before, I don't even how to type it. We all saw it. The guy threw something like 10 Pick for TDs in week! That being said, we will get him at least a bit vs backups. Matt Simms will probably get a long leash here. Taking the JAGUARS here. I know this is Week 3. And teams pretty much run out their 'A' game starters and play for a half or more. For me though, this is about how I think the Jags have improved themselves. The offense looks to take another step forward. The defense should be a solid unit. Bengals know who they are. I don't think they will be out for blood and really bringing it here. Jax on the other hand is looking to take that next step. The fact is at 0-2, they really can't afford to go 0-3, even here in pre-season. Gus Bradley has the pieces with some high draft picks. Time to put it together. 5* Best Bet JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Going UNDER the total here. I think the clear strengths of both teams are their defenses. Both have some QB issues in my eyes. I really can't see this total getting here. The Broncos are starting a guy tonight who sat out practice this week with a sore shoulder! How much is Trevor Siemian really going to throw tonight? I don't think they cut Mark Sanchez as he is a 'veteran' with only rookie first rounder Paxton Lynch on the bench. So, I think we get, at tops, a half of Siemian. A guy who hasn't thrown a pre-season TD this year. I think we see more Case Keenum then another rookie here in Goff. HC Jeff Fisher is saying this team can win games now. Well, you will your veterans if you start a rookie who clearly isn't ready to lead right not. Not saying he won't be down the road. But Case Keenum should be the starter for Game 1. But, it won't matter who they have behind center because I think the Broncos defense won't give up 13 points tonight. 4* Total Money UNDER Rams/Broncos

Taking the SAINTS here. Both teams winless so far. I know Week 3 is the 'dress rehearsal' for teams. Now, from 2009-2012 Pittsburgh was 12-4 SU 11-5 ATS in preseason action. Times are a change. Including their 0-2 SU/ATS mark this year, the Steelers are now 2-14 SU/ATS last 16 in preseason action! I think that the Steelers first team offense plays the first half here. But I don't think they do too much damage. The Saints defense has actually been pretty good in it's limited action and I like what I have see and read about them so far. I think Sean Payton will unleash Brees and his offense here. I mean, not that is has to do with football, but the state of Louisiana has had some national news recently. And the recent flooding is in my eyes, an opportunity for New Orleans a to come and give the people something to cheer about. With proceeds going to flood victims, I expect a big crowd that will leave very happy tonight. 8* Sure Shot NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Taking the CHIEFS here. Rams defense didn't look sharp vs the Cowboys. And though I am hesitant to back Andy Reid (pulled out a miracle win fading him last week), I think the KC offense will be able to win this outright even with a non caring coach. With 5 QBs on the roster, someone is on the way out. And I think in QB battles like this, there will be more shots taken down field to see who distances themselves. We know that Sean Mannion can come in and put up points like he did last week. But Case Keenum really needs to show off a bit here. Goff left Week 1 with a non throwing shoulder injury. Going OVER the total here. A pair of teams that didn't score much in Week 1. Bucs had 9 points but Winston did toss a TD pass in his time on the field (kick failed). I think we see him for a little longer here and the coach I know wants a bit more from the offense tonight. I do like Glennon and I won't be shocked if he gets a score either. Jags got 10 points in the first quarter but could only muster a FG the rest of the way. Jags are in now entering Year 3 of Blake Bortles. I am looking for him to take a big step forward this year and to do that, he needs to produce here in the preseason. I think this game should be at close to 30 points by the half and the backups will be looking to show something. That will produce the late points we need here for a win. 5* Best Bet OVER Jags/Bucs

Going OVER the total here. Both these teams put up some points in Week 1. Look. We might see Tannehill for a little more than a series and who knows if Romo makes a cameo. But we have to be happy that we get Prescott coming in for Dallas after he looked impressive against the Rams. Matt Moore didn't look bad either. It was painfully obvious last year and appears so this season, that the Cowboys have a leaky secondary. They allowed 14 points in the final 7 minutes. Sean Mannion carved them up. Matt Moore is a capable NFL backup. And Brandon Doughty passed for 97 TDs his last 2 years in college. Taking the BROWNS here. Yes. A BEST BET play on these guys. A team who's first score of the preseason was a safety and then allowed 2 safeties as the final 2 scoring plays. You can't make this stuff up. Same old Cleveland! That being said. I nearly played them against GB last week, but deep in my gut knew that the value would be here at home. And it is as they get zero respect and can't even lay the home FG as a fave. Bottom line is this. That game was terrible last week. I think RG3 gets a little more action here. Taking the CHARGERS here. First. We know that Mike McCoy tries to win a bit in preseason (7-4-1 ATS). We also have the Titans ex HC as our OC (Ken Whisenhunt) who did pretty good with the QB here. Now, we won't get a flurry of Phillip Rivers and that is fine. But, we have seen in the past a team get up for a coach facing an old team, regardless of how many wins (3-20) he had there over the year. We also have QB Zach Metteberger facing a team he started 10 games for. Kellen Clemens is a veteran who should have success against 3rd and 4th string defenders. So, I am sure MIke Mularky is a great family man and person. But let's be honest here. 2-7 last year after being promoted to HC of these Titans. 2-14 his only season with the Jags (2014). 9-7 then 5-11 with the Bills back in 2004-2005. And he is going to be successful with a 2nd year QB playing a few snaps and journeyman Matt Cassell coming in? Alex Tanney out of that QB U Monmouth University? Hey. I'm a Jersey Guy. I expect to see them rise up here, especially playing at home. Alex Smith still needs to get on the same page as Jeremy Maclin to really get this offense up to speed. That being said, the Titans are still rolling out a raw rookie in Mariota. Titans did INT Smith 3 times last year here in a 26-10 win. I look for a better outing by the entire KC team here tonight. 4* Money Maker KC CHIEFS

Taking the RAVENS here. Look. These guys have practiced all week against each other. Eagles blasted the Colts last week (a Top 10* for us) and cruised to a nice win. Baltimore beat the Saints. But in a tighter game with reserves getting a bulk of play. I expect us to see more Ravens regulars here. Plus Bradford and Murray making time for Philly. Going UNDER the total here. Well, anyone buying this MONEY BOMB WINNER is getting a free side included. I do have a Best Bet on NYJ. Now, I didn't think Geno would be playing more than a series before getting knocked out. Now though, we up the ante with a total play here. I think Fitzy will see a decent amount of time here. I think he could put some points on the board. That being said, I don't think Petty will do much. And truth be told, they have to find another QB for this game. I wasn't expecting many points in any case here. Game 1's in pre-season are historically low scoring. Can't see much change here with the Lions or Jets breaking out crazy offense. 10* MONEY BOMB Under Jets/Lions

Taking BUFFALO here tonight. For me, when it comes to pre-season NFL, I only look at a couple things. Most important to me, the QB rotation. We know that Manning and Manuel will take 3 snaps and hit the bench. I like Thad Lewis , Jeff Tuel and Dennis Dixon over Curtis Painter and Ryan Nassib. I think Dennis Dixon will be the one who gets us the easy win here. Giants with new OC, and scheme as they move to the West Coast Offense. They won't be sharp. Bills HC Doug Marrone doesn't have Coughlin's track record and will want his team to come out strong here. We will lay the small number. I even thought about laying the 145 on the ML. 4* Money Maker BUFFALO BILLS

Taking the EAGLES here. I like backing first year guys like Chip Kelly. Coming out of college where he used to run up 60+ point scores. Here, he faces a Jets team clearly in turmoil. Do any of really think that after Sanchez got hurt last week, that Rex Ryan is going to let any starter play more than a down? I think Chip Kelly knows he has some problems on defense and will want to see a good effort on that side of the ball tonight. 8* Sure Shot PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Taking the SAINTS here. I think the Saints will really be on a mission this season. With their HC back, I think the offense will both be motivated. In pre-season, regular season, whatever season. The Texans will still be without RB Foster. I think they will be happy just going through the motions here. Drew Brees will get major reps. But Luke McCown has also looked sharp this pre-season. The defense, after last years nightmare, will be locked in no matter what player hits the field. They had major issues and want to get that straightened out. Will gladly take the points here. 4* Road Warrior NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Andy Reid normally takes pre-season off. But he has to really check out this roster. This is a game that his players can use to really establish themselves in their coaches eyes. Playing in Pitt whenever is always a tough spot. This KC team has the talent, and now they have a coach who can put them on the right path. 8* Sure Shot KC CHIEFS

Taking the BILLS here. Bills have had a nice rest waiting for this game. We cashed on MNF with this Skins Under, and we will fade the home team here. I have zero faith in Rex Grossman getting the majority of the snaps here. I do however believe that the Bills are going to pound the ball right down Washington's throat here. With their rookie QB hurt, and their free agent QB coming off injury. I think Buffalo is going to rely heavily on their run game. I think they will control the ball and win this game OUTRIGHT. 10* Money-Bomb BUFFALO BILLS

Going UNDER the total here. Pitt didn't look pretty on offense vs the Giants last week. I don't think they can get that much better. For them to improve, they are going to have to really pound the ball to open things up for their passing game. With the week 3 dress rehearsal up next, I think we will see the same kind of blandness from Tomlin's offense. The defense will do enough to keep this from going over. For Washington, they will be going through the motions. They know RGIII is the starter. Can't see them risking any offensive players getting injured here. Again, the defenses to me, have the advantage in the preseason. 5* Best Bet UNDER Steelers/Redskins

Taking the KC CHIEFS ML here. You can lay the 2, but for a little extra juice, I will go ML. Normally, I don't like touching Andy Reid with a 10ft pole in NFLX unless I am fading the guy. But since he takes over a new team, I am thinking he needs to really evaluate and see what he has to work with. Right off the bat I loved this game because Alex Smith gets to face his exmates and tries to get some payback. Chiefs with more questions than the Niners, so I lean to the home team to take care of business. 4* Money-Maker KC CHIEFS

Going UNDER the total here. Falcons got beat up by Cincy last week. I think they will come out with a tougher defense here again the reigning Champs. I had Tampa over BLT last week and that was a big fat loser. But I think that helps us here as the Ravens have a win under their belt. The defense looked solid last week. You get a blocked punt for a TD, 3 INTs and a fumble recovery your offense will look pretty good. I think history shows us that Falcons HC Mike Smith doesn't really care about pre-season. I think his offense being led by Dominique Davis won't be running roughshod even over a revamped Baltimore defense. 5* Total Money UNDER Falcons/Ravens

Going UNDER the total here. Again. I lost with Philly last week. They looked terrible defensively. In this spot, I think that again works for us. You damn well know that Chip Kelly doesn't want to look like a college coach getting his butt handed to him in the pros. For the Panthers, we know that how Cam goes, so does Carolina. I doubt he will see much action. The defense needs the most work and with defensive minded Ron Rivera leading the team, I expect the defense to be on its behavior tonight. And that, coupled with what will have to be a 100% from the Eagles from last week, should keep this under the number. 10* Money-Bomb UNDER Eagles/Panthers
