5*NY Yankees -101 (Keuchel/Tanaka) I correctly predicted that Dallas Keuchel was going to have a big year in my Top 5 MLB Left-handed starters age 27 or younger article. He was awesome at home (15-0, 1.46 ERA), not so much on the road (5-8, 3.77 ERA). Keuchel pitched seven scoreless innings at Yankee stadium earlier this season. However, he will pitching on three days rest. I don't think he will have his best stuff. The Yankees were ranked second in runs scored against left-handed starters and have all the postseason experience. The Astros enter the postseason with the second worst road record in MLB history to make the playoffs. Take the host!

5*Cleveland Indians +102 (Bauer/Leake) Mike Leake is 2-3 with a 5.92 ERA at home and the right-hander has not been good against the American League, going 0-3 with a 10.50 ERA in his last five Interleague starts. That includes a 7-3 loss at Cleveland on May 22 in which Leake surrendered five runs and seven hits in just four innings. Trevor Bauer is 5-2 with a 1.82 ERA in eight road starts, and 4-1 with a 1.83 ERA in nine Interleague tilts since moving to the AL. Bauer has limited the Reds to a .154 average in two career meetings. Cleveland is 5-1 after getting shut-out this season and they have the better bullpen by over a full run. I also like fading the All-star host team if their first game back is at home. (7-3 last 10)

Solid. He's been unlucky this season with a 3.80 ERA. Most of the Dodgers have never faced Lester. Carlos Frias induces contact -- he averages 5.1 strikeouts per nine innings -- but opponents are hitting .302 against Frias this season. Jon Lester has been solid in day games as opponents are batting .224 compared to .270 in night tilts over the last three seasons. Lester has posted a 1.70 ERA in three day games this season. The Dodgers are ranked dead last in stolen bases so Lester should be very comfortable on the bump in this one.

The Detroit Tigers are 20-10 vs. left-handed starters and should benefit from playing at a hitter-friendly stadium. They are batting a league-high .286 against lefties. Justin Verlander is 23-2 with a 2.97 ERA vs. the National League in his career. The Tigers are 5-0 in games after Miguel Cabrera has at least four at-bats without a hit.

10*St. Louis Cardinals -155 (Burnett/Garcia)
The Red Birds were completely stymied by the Phillies on Thursday. Jon Jay, Matt Holliday, & Allen Craig went a combined 0-for-12 with three strikeouts. St. Louis has six players that are hitting over .300 against Burnett. AJ has an ERA of 13.50 in 16 IP at Bush Stadium since 2011. Jamie Garcia has been great at home off a team shutout loss. I also like the fact that Garcia is 16-7 with a 2.95 ERA in all home games over the last four seasons.
