For Hump Day, have four basketball Line Moves and free picks to consider and no I did not include Kentucky vs. Columbia, since the top-ranked Wildcats can beat the Lions by whatever margin they choose. Like we say every day, understanding line moves can build your bankroll. (282-227 L88D)

NBA – (517) MIAMI at (518) DENVER 10:35 ET  ESPN

Miami won in Phoenix last night and journeys up to Denver. The Heat being somewhat of an older team, at least at key positions, has been taken from +4 to +5.5, with the possibility of Dwayne Wade seeing reduced minutes in back-to-back games. This information is not confirmed at this time, however, we did find Miami is 4-2 SU and ATS without rest this season, but one of the defeats came in consecutive road games like this situation. The Nuggets have dumped four in a row and are back home off a three-game road trip and are just 5-4 and 5-3-1 ATS at a Mile High. SWM Take – Lean Miami

NBA – (519) HOUSTON at (520) GOLDEN STATE 1:00 ET  ROOT-SW, CSBA

Both teams are battling injury woes in spite of their exceptional records this season. Tonight James Harden and Andrew Bogut are listed as ‘questionable’ and Dwight Howard is not expected to play. Despite this, the total is up two points to 203. This rise in the total is a little vexing given these two teams are in the Top 3 in field goal percentage defense and Top 6 in fewest points allowed. I’ll go against the public and support the defenses in this tremendous matchup and take into consideration the Rockets are 11-2 UNDER when the total is 200 or higher this season. SWM Take – Play Under

CBB – (549) WASHINGTON STATE at (550) GONZAGA 11:00 ET  ESPNU

Gonzaga had Arizona dead to rites after leading them virtually the entire game in Tucson and fell in OT to the Wildcats. The Zags return home and have their now annual matchup with in-state partner Washington State. Gonzaga opened as 24-point home favorites but has dipped to -22, with the Cougars 4-3 ATS at Spokane and 12-4 ATS overall against Gonzaga. Another factor in this contest to ponder is though the Wazzou also plays in the Pac-12, the Bulldogs are playing this game in an away sandwich, coming off Arizona and at UCLA this Saturday. The Zags are 25-11 ATS off a loss by six or fewer points, just keep in mind the margin of victory in those games at 17 points. SWM Take – Slight lean with Washington State

CBB – (561) DAVIDSON at (562) MONTANA  9:00 ET

Davidson is 6-1 and 2-2 ATS with their lone setback coming against North Carolina. The Wildcats are averaging 86.9 PPG and nearly half their shots (30 of 66) are from behind the arc and they are tied for the most made three’s in the country at a dozen per contest. Bettors are not impressed and have lowered Davidson from -3 to -1.5 at Montana (3-4, 3-2 ATS). My belief the reason the Grizzlies are getting action here is their OT loss at Cal and subsequent victory over North Dakota State. One glaring aspect about this matchup, as mentioned, Davidson shoots the three-ball well and Montana allows opponents to convert on 37.7 percent. That is an issue! SWM Take – Davidson covers
